Every town I go too, I try and find the best independent coffee house! And this was just down the road from my hotel. Friendly Barista, who makes you feel welcome and makes coffee with a passion! Keep up the great work! Best coffee shop in Bournemouth. Your new buddy from WATFORD

Best cinnamon buns in Bournemouth (probably the world). Something weird is going on here. These buns are INSANELY good, and they are vegan. Everyone knows vegan stuff is like 50% as good as non vegan stuff. That’s the price you pay for feeling all smug about yourself for not destroying the planet or harming defenceless animals. How can the best cinnamon buns ever also be vegan? And why do they only have them once a week? And if I eat buns that are suspiciously great AND vegan can I still feel smug about myself?

As a hidden gem on Westover Road, Robs customer service is flawless and once you have been once, you will definitely be back for more! No work day feels the same without my Fika fix now! If you have 5, pop in to see Rob, you won’t be disappointed! Support local and come say hi!

Delightful place. We found it whilst out catching the January sunrise and were delighted to do so. Proprietor was a charming guy keen to talk coffee and he was very friendly. Coffee was great (Ethiopian sidamo) and the honey nut bar was delicious. This place is reasonably priced too. Please try with confidence. Follow up - returned the next day for the cinnamon buns. I concur with other reviewers; they really are the best in the world.

The best coffee shop anywhere. We found Fika by chance on Christmas day 2021. Couldn't believe that it was open on that day. We went in just as it was opening & what a welcome we got from Rob the owner. Within minutes it started filling up & everyone was so friendly & chatty. I think a few lasting friendships were probably made that day. We've been going regularly ever since. The coffee is the best by far & Rob is always so chatty & genuinely welcoming. A great place to meet in the heart of Bournemouth. Can't recommend it highly enough.

My partner and I have had an amazing breakfast at this coffee shop. The person in charge was super friendly and cheerful. Not only he made us 2 great flatwhites but he also had a delicious pastry selection vegan and non that made our day. We got a divine Chelsea bun but everything else was mouthwatering too. Simply Amazing! We were looking for a nice early morning coffee and this was definitely it! The place is inviting, cosy and tidy. Rob was just great: friendly, professional, enthusiastic and don't be fooled, he's not a barista that only makes coffee he also roasts it and mixes 3 types of them to give you a special blend. We felt well taken care of. If you want to try the out of this world lotus cinnamon buns try to go as early as possible promise you won't regret it!!

A little hidden gem in the heart of Bournemouth. We were after a quality morning coffee and this place popped up on google so we thought to check it out. We were pleasantly surprised by a top quality service, an incredible personalised coffee and a delicious cinnamon bun that the place is famous for. Went in to grab a take away coffee the other day. Rob gave the warmest welcome and has such a positive attitude, it’s almost infectious. Very clean and lovely space to sit if you wanted to eat/drink in. Any place that’s dog friendly also gets extra brownie points from me. Coffee was lush & will be going back to collect some of their own roasted blend to have at home. 10/10 would highly recommend.

The anticipation for Rob to finally open Fika wasn't undermined by my first visit. It wasn't just the good coffee, great surroundings and friendly service, it was seeing the excitement on his face to see yet another regular customer joining the Fika revolution. Extremely good coffee. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Service great. Only two points to raise... it's a bit noisy. The acoustics not too good making it difficult to have a quiet conversation due to noise around, and...the bench seats are a bit too high for comfort. But despite that will certainly go again and would recommend it.

Highly recommend this place for the coffee, snacks and service! Does the best version of my go too coffee (vanilla latte with coconut milk) and got introduced too the fmu shot too there by owner and barista Rob who is a massive legend who makes you feel very welcome and makes for great conversation, anytime I’m in Bournemouth I always visit to grab a coffee and have a good ol chat! Still needing too try the rest of the menu so will definitely be a frequent customer too Fika ✨

If you're after a great tasting coffee poured to perfection to stay and chat or to grab in a busy rush, fika is the place to be.. Always a personal service, not like these other cafés who want you in and out. I've followed Rob over the years and watched his progression which he has got down to a 'T'!
