Nice place to sit and eat. Reasonable prices. Staff not exactly friendly. Not even a hello but not awful either. Need more veggie food. Wanted egg Mayo sandwich or baguette but they didn't do it but do do scrambled egg. Found that odd. Inbound go again as the coffee is nice and is in an ideal place.

Exactly as advertised, all the basics, except out of order toilets for which you are directed to the poor quality pier toilets. Great location and full English is great value

Obscura Cafe is located in a great location at one end of the Bournemouth Winter Gardens and in the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, I felt that it was very pricey, especially as the food we ordered wasn't presented on plates, but in polystyrene boxes and with plastic cutlery. The tables are too low for our wheelchair user in our group to fit under. It would have been better if they had larger tables for this reason and people who were there to dine. However the food was very good and tasty

Very nice, staff extremely helpful as I had my little dog in a pet stroller. I ordered a coke and cheese and tomato sandwich. The sandwich was very full and generous. Cost just over 7 pounds, can recommend 5stars.

Stopped by earlier today for orange juice and a snack of sweet potato fries (generous portion), and a chance to just sit down and chill. Staff friendly and very helpful. Plenty of tables and umbrellas available, which was definitely needed in this heat. Toilets available inside. Great spot for just watching the world go by, and with a bit of added entertainment until the end of August from the Summer Live bar next door.

Coffee was good ,Earl Grey tea was not and both were rather overpriced but the cafe is well positioned and it was lovely sitting in the sun ,( while it lasts !!) listening to the music of a busker who was also very good !!!! Note to cafe management - if you reduce your prices you will sell more as I heard several customers comment about the prices !!!

Used to live this cafe for there cream teas but it has changed for the worse. I asked for a cream tea and the waitress said they don't do them, went off somewhere else and couldn't find anywhere so came back and read the menu and they did scone with jam and cream??? Well the waitress should of told us they did it but had to pay extra for the cup of tea. Disappointed

Used to love this cafe. Can't understand why they've stopped table service when other cafes have implemented it. Asked if they still did cream teas, a member of staff said no but they can do a scone or toasted teacake. So we went away to look for somewhere else in the vicinity who did them but couldn't find anywhere so came back to obscura and reading the menu ourselves we noticed on there a scone with jam and clotted cream, so she could of said they did the cuppa separate now, obviously to make more money.

Lovely place in the middle of Bournemouth, great if you're waiting on your bus or just want a little break from the beach crowd. The place is quite expensive though due to being in the centre of a touristic place. £3 for a cup of Coca-Cola is a bit much, specially when served in a takeaway coffee cup.

Lovely place with a very good location at the Centre of Bournemouth square you can sit there at the outdoor area specially if the weather permits. Good coffee and friendly staff , we enjoyed our coffee in a very nice view near the town Centre . A great place if you are looking for a space we’re you can rest for a coffee break at the middle of shopping tower or long walks in the gardens.

Great place to watch the world go by over a cappuccino or iced latte and a cheese toastie or piece of cake. It's ideally located close to the pier, the parks and the shops, with indoor and shaded outdoor seating - perfect!

Lovely coffee shop. The food is also really nice. The staff is friendly and also really busy. Toilets are very clean and for me the plus is also a small sanitizer spray in each cabin. The only "issue " they have so many tables that it's really hard for staff to move around.
