No WiFi! Otherwise clean. Nice latte and tea cake. Unisex toilet. Did not appreciate being referred to as a 'filthy animal' by a sign outside. No doubt they intend it as a joke. Reasonable price for what I had. Plenty of parking. Garden area. Log burning stove. Good service but not interested in getting to know you so no personal touch.

(Written in winter 2019, edited out a Google maps problem which has since been sorted.)We are regulars at the Old Bakery Café - we go there every other week for breakfast and have done so for nearly a year. As the other reviewers say, food is always excellent - beautifully cooked and on time, people are friendly, atmosphere is cosy (wood burning stove at this time of year!) We particularly like the black pudding and I quizzed the chef about it. He cooks it in the oven! And this is the only place where we've found the hash browns cooked through to the middle.

Can I donate to the Cafe please so myself and the community NEVER have to endure your cheap cutlery again. The knives are so blunt they're just smooth semi-circles. And the forks are so thin =( . Please contact and I'll donate to benefit us all !

Went here for a lovely relaxing catch up with friends. Had been recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed!! We ordered coffees and panini. The log burner, great ambiance and ultra friendly staff, exceptional quality of the food and presentation ensured that this will be a regular place to visit in the future. Fantastic!

Always have fantastic food at the old bakery I can highly recommend the curry that’s on the special board they really do know how to make good curry! I love that they used locally sourced produce where ever they can and the local coffee is always a winner. The staff are always friendly

Sat in the coffee shop whilst my son had an interview at the school. Lovely place and totally unexpected on an industrial estate. Warm, cosy, friendly staff and a varied menu. Definitely a place to relax and recharge.
