Reviews of Moksha Caffe
E. L. C.
Such a good brunch and lunch spot, with a variety of sweet and savoury options. Lots of veggie and vegan choices, would highly recommend their smoothies.
The indoor interior is light and bright with the option of outdoor tables as well. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Came here on my last morning in Brighton and was gutted I hadn’t gone there the other mornings too! Definitely the best breakfast spot out of all I visited.
A good sized place, quite busy (which shows how good it is), lovely staff and an awesome menu.
It was hard to choose because everything sounded great but in the end I went for the Half English Breakfast and had no regrets. The coffee was good too.
I’d definitely come back here for breakfast whenever I’m next in Brighton.
L. N.
Could this be the best brunch place in Brighton? Definitely. Quite honestly Moksha has been one of the best brunch places I have had the pleasure of stumbling upon. The staff, food, drinks and overall ambiance were 10/10, and could not recommend it enough. As for the experience, both drinks and meals were out of this world - We tried the Moksha breakfast, Brighton Blue burger and hash browns, to name a few, all accompanied by a fine selection of cocktails (with my personal favourite being the frozen daiquiri). Overall, a fantastic way to start my day, and I cannot wait to come back!

As Vegan and Gluten free customers we visited based on previous reviews and were very impressed with the quality of food, choices and the service provided.
We would definitely return on the next visit.
Highly recommended.

Such a good brunch and lunch spot, with a variety of sweet and savoury options. We came early on a Saturday morning and didn’t book/ queue.
Would highly recommend their smoothies, pancakes and full English!
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Our trip down to Brighton made easy and memorable! We came down on a busy Saturday morning from London for the day, and found that many of the brunch spots at the lanes were packed. We found this place and though crowded with a line we were told we’d be seen in 5-10 minutes and within no time we were in! Quick service and very friendly staff with a great vibe around the place.
Food was brilliant, shakshuka spot on - I prefer mine a bit less bitty but nevertheless good with nice sourdough. Pancakes and bacon were great too, both had generous portions.
Only thing to say was that the toilets weren’t very clean and we were still early on in the day too. Other than that loved it and would recommend!

One word, DELICIOUS. Can't believe I haven't been here before. I went for the eggs Benedict with the famous hash browns, and boy it didn't disappoint. All fresh and high quality, and the hash browns are the best I've ever had!!! All crispy and peppery. We also had heuvos Benedicto which had some perfectly spicy chorizo and guac. Overall I will definitely be coming back. Top job guys!!!

Epic is not going to be the word I’d use to describe the banana milkshake. It is unfortunately below par and deserves a 3/10. I’m currently looking at some cows. I like them.
Now a few mins later. I am just watching my friends eat. This is extremely upsetting.
IMPORTANT update. I have received and eaten the burger within only a few hundred seconds! I was in a bubble of food ecstasy 😍 I was constantly in pain with the heat of the food but I could not live without the taste not being
present until it was, ultimately destroyed.
Overall, priced well for the burgers.
The scrambled eggs however, could be subject to scamlike pricing, since you can get so much better and only spend another 2 pounds.

Worth the ratings it’s earned so far. We visited midday on a Sunday, and had to wait maybe 10 minutes for a walk-in table. We sat inside, where the service was friendly and fast (but not too fast). The whole restaurant was full, but not chaotic - it was a great vibe for a brunch.
I had a Bloody Mary, with their trademark English breakfast, and my girlfriend had a tofu poke bowl with a pint of Italian lager.
She absolutely raved about her dish, which is praise indeed. It had an Asian twist to it, and the portion was generous. Being honest, my breakfast was okay, at best.
For the English breakfast fans among us, a few noteworthy points.
First, no swaps! I didn’t want the fried beef tomato, but no option to switch it (which I think is rare). The poached eggs were cold, and watery; the bacon was quality but also cold; and the mushroom was tasty but again full of water. I queried the pink sausage, which was again high quality but was assured the pink was nothing to worry about as their supplier uses beetroot preservative. The beans were fine (and homemade), the thick sliced toast was good, and the black pudding would have been the star of the show but it had been waterlogged by the mushroom.
We also shared their ‘famous’ hash browns, which were decent. Note the extras were pricey IMHO - £1.50 for hash browns, and £3 for two hash browns.
Long story short if you’re specifically after a top notch English breakfast, I’d head elsewhere, but don’t be put off - this was a great place, and taking into account the amazing tofu poke bowl, and the brilliant service and setting, I’d definitely recommend and I will be back.

This place is brilliant! We went for brunch and the food was delicious and filling. You could not want for options either - it had all the traditional dishes such as eggs benedict and pancakes through to buddha bowls and crab on rye toast.
B. D.
Simply the best place to have breakfast in Brighton!! The poached eggs are cooked very well , the hollandaise sauce is rich and tasty, and the hash browns are crispy and delicious. However the service is very slow.
A. D.
Went for brunch on a Sunday, we arrived right before it got very busy. The options were great, we ended up ordering the Brighton Blue Burger and the Huevos Benedictos.
Good sized portions and very tasty.
It was a bit noisy between people and music, but overall a good experience.
It took a while for us to pay once we asked for the bill, but as I mentioned, it got very busy.
S. P.
One the best cafes in Brighton!! The coffe is top draws and don’t miss the speciality Hash browns. They do vegan options but the egg dishes are not to be missed! The ambience is great, even on a weekday morning. Staff is nice and the seating is good. Taking away the one star only because they don’t have WiFi (!!!) - and that makes it difficult to do work if that’s your plan
A. M.
I really like this place, first experience was phenomenal, hash browns are a must try. Definitely going again.
H. B.
Lovely little place we found to have breakfast on our last morning in Brighton. Loads of options including plenty of vegetarian and vegan. Staff were friendly and attentive and had a good vibe throughout.
J. B.
The line out the front of Moksha should be a good indication of its calibre as a brunch house.
Friendly and helpful staff assisted us in choosing the right choice of breakfast off their extensive menu. My standard breakfast plate was excellent, with my only gripe being the size of my two eggs (quite small). The sides were delicious and well portioned. My partners vegan breakfast was equally as delicious and generously portioned also.
Moksha is a must visit if you love a good brunch, and definitely somewhere I'll be coming back to again.
N. G.
the best eggs benedict i've ever had in my life! the hash browns are really nice as well, loads of vegan options, the staff is really friendly, 10/10 would recommend!
M. W.
Really like this spot. Had the Huevos Rancheros & crab Benedict with hashbrowns. The hash browns are unmissable, best I've ever had. Really fresh & generous portions. Great service and air con inside was a plus!!
A. A.
Arguably my favorite brunch spot in Brighton!
I had to wait 10 mins to get seated but it was well worth it.
J. (.
Had an amazing breakfast here, really friendly staff, fast service. Only downside is how busy it gets!
C. R.
Really delcious food, especially the Dirty Hock. It was quite busy so took a while to get served, but once we got everything, it was fab. Great portion sizes and reasonable prices. Thanks so much!
E. L.
The brunch here was delicious, we had two English breakfasts, a Huevos Benedictos, hash browns, and a portion of kids blueberry pancakes. We all loved the food and enjoyed ourselves, the coffee and the atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic and it was amazing that we could order a kids size portion for pancakes as we were quite full but really wanted to try them. The pancakes were fluffy, soft, and with delicious, warm and melty blueberries inside. Would definitely come back if back in Brighton!
L. H.
Delicious food. We got seated pretty quickly as it was just the two of us. I really enjoyed the turmeric latte. The eggs florentine with the hash browns were fantastic!
J. G.
The food here is excellent and those “famous” hash browns are totally worth it. There can be a bit of a queue at times but it’s justified. The staff are lovely and the coffee is outstanding. In fact I had to buy a bag of the beans after trying it. Do yourself a favour, stop reading reviews and go get in line right now!
A. Z.
The pancakes were quite nice, and the bacon was well made. I understand the hash browns were special but a bit too salty for me. Friendly staff and lovely cafe though, would visit again.
B. K.
Delicious breakfast, children's portion very generous (3 big pancakes!) - daughter was very impressed. She said the best breakfast she ever had! I really like their coffee. Will definitely recommend and come back
R. P. Q.
Nice ambiance, good customer service, nice & friendly staff, good value and tasty breakfast! Will be back to try the shakshuka!
Only 4 stars as the matcha could have been on a bigger cup!
A. H.
Great place to chill after a walk through Royal Pavilion and North Laine. The decor and ambience make it very welcoming. The macchiato was ok, nothing to rave about. The food looked very appealing but did not try them. It seemed like a popular place for brunch as the place was full mid-morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming
S. C.
The best hash browns in town! That's what they said and, my oh my they certainly were!! Great food, good quality, staff were brilliant (considering they was a constant queue on a Sunday!) Would really recommend the ham hock with hash browns, their big breakfast and the falafel bowl - absolutely amazing! Will be back.
S. E.
Wow. What an incredible breakfast. This place saved my life (perfect with a hang over). Attentive staff, clean yet warm atmosphere, beautiful range of coffees juices and cocktails - stunning bloody mary. The prices are highbut the meals are huge with top quality ingredients. Only issue - if it wasn't for the enforced distancing of people we would have been very cramped (the table next to us had to remain unoccupied thankfully as it was so so close). Everything was lovely tho. Will be back!!
C. E.
Welcoming staff, with nice and alternative options for brunch. Walk-in
l. m.
Very tasty and we'll presented food as you can see - quick service too would go again
L. k.
Lovely cute place for brunch and reasonably priced! 😊 Will definitely keep this on my list to come back next time I visit Brighton 😋🤩
Make sure you have the hash browns! They are the best!
J.
Great selection of dishes!
I got the shakshuka (it was a very large portion and had great flavours) and the famous hash browns (these were crispy and delicious!)
Definitely recommend stopping at this place from brunch in Brighton! 10/10
K. J.
Pretty interior. Safe for social distancing. Very nice selection for Brunch and very kind staff. Pancakes were a bit dry and the extra maple syrup was 50p. A bit sad. Definitely get the eggs and salmon though. It was great!

Delicious Brunch ~ Streaky bacon pancakes and large Cappuccino

Just incredible! We scoured the internet to find a good breakfast spot while we were staying in Brighton and this place was amazing. The food, the people, can't fault them one bit. Thank you for the best breakfast I've had in ages!

Probably the tastiest brunch I've had in brighton, very much looking forward to my next trip!

I had breakfast the last day. I ordered scramble eggs with avocado-tomato salsa. The scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked for my taste but yummy. You get large portions here.
Our waiter was very friendly and quick.
A. T.
We went for brunch at Moksha today. I got the eggs royale as I was feeling like a queen for having handed in my dissertation. Toasted sourdough with melted butter was exactly what you'd expect from it, deliciousness in every bite. The eggs were poached to perfection, and the hollandaise sauce tasted like it was prepared by an angel. Their Bloody Mary could've used some improvement, but hey, it did its job and made me jolly. Service was excellent and our waitress was sassy, matching my extra attitude, to my surprise. All in all, would highly recommend 🧜🏼♂️
E. S.
One of my favorite brunch place. Good quality food, nice staff.

VEGAN FRIENDLY 😊🌱
Lovely decorative and fresh interior, nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
Good menu options with lots of choice, fairly priced, decent sized portions, and above all nice tasty food!
Good coffee with multiple non dairy milk options , vegan pancakes, and they swapped eggs for avocado on my veggie breakfast .
Definitely recommend and will be back again
R. S.
Amazing food! Easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in Brighton! I usually don't go back to places as I trying new restaurants, but Moksha was so good that I came back a week or so later. The Shakshuka is so rich in flavour, I highly recommend it!
G. B.
WOW !
The Huevos Benedict & Homemade Hash Brash absolutely Brilliant
The food was top notch & Super Fresh. Served in a timely manner
Service was great & well managed

Pen this place in for your Brighton Breakfast Stop

Good portion and delicious food, I've been there twice I definitely recommend

Perfect place for brunch. Ordered on the app which was quick and easy to use. Food was delicious and the hash browns in particular are to die for!
D. C.
Food was wonderful, coffee was excellent.
All staff I spoke to friendly and welcoming.
Unfortunately I overheard the way one of the chefs spoke to a member of staff, highly unprofessional.
P. C.
Great food choices including vegan and a very friendly and obliging staff.
B. S.
The food was absolutely amazing, and if you are around this is a place worth popping into. The service was good and friendly.
P.S. Do try the specialty dishes like the Huevo Benedictos and the Huevo Rancheros!
J. P.
Really really really good! Delicious food and friendly staff! Top marks
J. T. T.

OMG the blueberry pancakes so large and good. The first piece I put in mouth I felt turned on by it. Amazing place to start a day.
S. B.
Food is amazing!! First little surprised by some of the prices of the salads but then you get them.. Nice big bowl that fills you up perfectly!
K. P.
The crab benedict was amazing! Love staff, even though they were very busy. On the day I went, the shop was crowded since 10 am till now when I'm writing this post 12.30 pm.
J. W.
Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Had late breakfast. Smoothie was lush. Attentive staff. I will be going again
M. G.
Incredibly tasty food. The shasuka was the perfect level of spice and flavour. Served with the crispiest wrap and lovely fresh Greek yoghurt. Great coffee selection and a lovely environment!
A. R.
I was a tad confused by the sign outside, as I stood there for a good few minutes but don't think staff saw me, so ventured in and stood by the sign indoors! They didn't mind me just ordering coffee and it was so good I ordered another! Pleasant staff, very clean and tidy cafe and the coffee was excellent! I will definitely visit again, if I'm in that area.
O. C.
Such a lovely cafe with lovely and friendly staff. We had a shakshuka and vegan pancakes that was very nice. you can tell that they care about the quality of the food and the overall experience. Highly recommended
C. P.
The staff are fantastic! May need to queue on weekends but they have a quick turn around. The food is great and the prices reasonable. Best place for brunch in Brighton.
O. D.
Vegetarian breakfast with added hallumi & hash browns + filter coffee. This was exceptional, basically faultless. Staff were great too. Highly recommended.
S. B.
Delicious food, great veggie and vegan options. Great coffee. Shakshuka 10/10
S. F.
Very nice lunch and dinner menu friendly staff and nice location.
R. H.
Really clean food. Staff are very attentive and work really hard to make sure a busy breakfast place is served quickly and smoothly. Really enjoy this place worth a short wait to get seated. Much nicer than the Breakfast Club
J. P.
I love moshka. They make the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever tasted. Their homemade hash browns are excellent as well.
L. R.
I have standards for brunch that often leave me disappointed in this country. This was not the case at Moksha. The service was exceptional, the coffee was wonderful, and the menu was diverse, reasonably priced, and had sufficient plant-based options for my vegan friend.
The only slight detraction is that they don’t allow alterations to menu items (eg. swapping out poached for scrambled eggs) however this was not enough to take away from what was a five star experience. This is going to the top of my recommendation list for cafes in Brighton.
B. T.
Very good service, location was also good . Had a very good burger and chips ,my partner had the fish burger and chips, both burgers were well presented and likeni mentioned very good 👍. The atmosphere was relatively relaxing ,inviting I would say . The reason why we decided to have lunch there was because when we passed ,someone was eating a burger 🍔 and it looked much better than your average burger, it looked gourmet it fact so it attracted me ,and I wasn't disappointed. The price was also surprisingly good ,I thought from appearance it would be more than we paid. The two well presented and very good quality burgers both with chips, one beer and one other drink £28. I was pleased overall, would eat there again.
A. S.
I had the crab benedict on rye. Poached eggs perfect, lovely limey crab on smashed* peas on flavourful textured rye bread with a tasty sauce.
*I forgive the pretentious foodie talk.
Worth every penny. The coffee is excellent too. Friendly staff. Thanks for a perfect breakfast
D. Q.
Nice place for brunch 💓I ordered the vegan breakfast and the banana milkshake, it's very tasty. The staff will ask you if you want to add the hash brown , I won't recommend that.
R. J.
Customer service was great and the food was good taste-wise, especially the sauce in the burger and the rosemary fries, however the burger bun and patty were unfortunately very dry, both mine and my friend’s, which is a shame, as if they weren’t dry the food would have been bomb. Would still go and try again if I’m in Brighton, maybe it was just one of them days.

I had a great time together with my friend's from school 🤣 restaurants was very nice and the food was great 👍👍
A. G.
We only got to eat here once while visiting Bringhton last weekend and we were lucky to get a table without making a reservation, as this place is always so busy and the food is really fresh and tasty. Service was great and my flat white was perfect.
j. b.
Superb.
Eggs royale were delicious. I want it again and again and again. My partner had poached eggs on toast with avocado salsa which was awesome too.
I had a flat white for coffee which was perfect.
Nice and clean environment.
Very friendly staff.
Reasonably priced for Brighton.
K. N. (.
my new fav spot in Brighton, very central, cosy atmoshere, fresh food and amazing coffee. only thing i was missing was salt and pepper on the table
Z. A.
One of our regular places when the weather is nice, it's worth waiting for a table outside. The service has always been excellent and very welcoming.
Some of our favourites are the shakshuka, banana caramel pancakes and the vegetarian breakfast - nice big portions compared to other places in the North Laines.
The coffee has always been great and sensibly priced and I am very fussy about my Espresso/Americano!
Often it is cheaper to have coffee at Harrods than in most coffee shops in Brighton, which is completely absurd and I have a lot of experience in the coffee industry...
The juices are fresh and a decent size glass, again an issue in Brighton, where you can pay a fiver for the smallest glass of juice/smoothie you have ever seen.
A great place any day of the week.
I. I.
Great breakfast and decent prices. I had the eggs royale and the eggs were poached to perfection.
C. M.
Lovely food, nicely presented and cooked perfectly, their turmeric latte is so tasty, will definitely come again.
E. S.
Really great place in Brighton. Attentive friendly staff, organised and the food was lovely! Quick service and lots of variety to choose from. Will definitely be back and can't fault the place. Thanks for a lovely brunch :)
R. C.
Good service. Great food. Good vegan options.
Y. L.
Hash brown was amazing! This breakfast place was defo a highlight for our Brighton trip!
D. K.
This is by far the most baby friendly brunch places ever. The staffs were very friendly, they even gave extra warm milk for our son, the food was simply amazing, the atmosphere is very open and welcoming. They even have a spacious bathroom with clean diaper changing station and a potty training toilet. We had a wonderful brunch, we will come back again.
J. d. t.
The ham hock is the best best thing I have ever eaten. Period.
R. S.
YES. Just yes. Great food!! Have been here a couple of times now however service can be a tad slow. They don’t take bookings which isn’t a problem as we didn’t mind waiting in the queue for a table. Staff are friendly, food is always fab. Thumbs up from me
R. W.
Great welcoming service and very tasty food. Also good baby changing facilities!
J. M.
Huevos Benedictos - one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked poached eggs and great coffee. Thank you.
M. B.
I had the veggie shakshuka with a lovely americano coffee and carrot and tumeric juice. Fantastic service with kind staff and really tasty food. Defo the best spot for brunch in Brighton. (Arrive early!)
T. S.
Great hash browns, fruit drinks, eggs and warm atmosphere. So tasty! (Thanks Amber)
C. P.
Good coffee and breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

Moksha has always been my go to Cafe in Brighton. Many work meetings, social gatherings and birthday meals have been had here. Their cooked breakfasts are great, though my favorite dishes are the Shakshuka and the new ish addition of the Ham Hock. During lockdowns it was definitely missed, it was great when we could indulge in the odd lazy weekend delivery when it was allowed though. Recently we managed to get there and sit in! We always order extra homemade hash browns which Moksha are famous for. Sadly, on our most recent visit the hash browns were not what we were used to. They are usually crispy throughout and contain onion I believe. This time they were what I'd describe as lumps of mashed potato and lightly deep fried on the outside. The hash browns are definitely one of the main reasons we go here so it was a bit disappointing. The Shakshuka a bit watery this time, though is normally quite thick and cooked well. It still tasted great though was harder to eat with the homemade flat bread. Unfortunately, we had a family member who had never been there before with us and we feel this visit did not do it the justice we have been hyping it up as! We will definitely not be deterred to go back to our favourite cafe, though hope this constructive criticism means the hash browns are changed back soon, please! It's understandable small hiccups will happen in the pandemic and are so glad Moksha has kept going strong, thank you!
L. F.
Friendly place, good for meetings or working. Veggie breakfasts are huge & tasty! Coffee is also good.
L. O.
Delicious hash browns, great huevos rancheros, nice coffee
M. M.
This is a very nice cafe in Brighton for breakfast. It opens early which is super when most places are closed. They have an extensive breakfast menu of egg prepared in all types. The coffee is super. I had a continental breakfast with croissant and fresh OJ. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is turn down the volume of the music, especially during breakfast time. But overall highly recommended.
A. G.
Fabulous food amazing breakfast. Well done Moksha cannot wait to come back see you on Saturday. If you are looking for lovely fresh food and an amazing brunch this is your place!

Such a lovely place for brunch. The staff are SO helpful and kind to you and the food is really good and reasonably priced.
A. F.
Not the most affordable, but if you're up for a treat brunch or breakfast, this is your place. From English brekkies to poached eggs with smoked salmon, all is cooked to the point, delivered swiftly by friendly staff (most with covid protection). The coffee is also lovely.
L. B.
Had a lovely breakfast with delicious hashbrowns, salmon and poached eggs with an excellent hollandaise. Coffee and fresh orange juice are also great. Nice atmosphere (very busy but still friendly and warm) and very friendly and quick service from staff. Reasonable prices. Will definitely stop by again.
G. M.
Super amazing food...really enjoyed the food

Very nice food and very friendly staff.
S. B.
A very nice breakfast cafe with good service and lovely food.
J. f.
Food was brilliant and so was service, until we'd finished eating and it took an age to get the bill. Would still recommend to all, the vegan food is ace.
N. C.
Really nice, well presented food and generous portions. Superior cafe food that seems to specialise in eggs in every shape and form. My kids say the smoothies are amongst the best in Brighton. Big enough that you usually get a space and is on the Pride carnival route, making it a great place to watch the floats. They also run cool 'geeky' quiz nights. Recommended.
N. M.
I go with my grandpa a few times a year when he comes in visits and the food has always been lovely. Brunch is the best time! Very child friendly but they do not have a disabled toilet which is slightly disappointing. Accessible entrance I'm the coffee is great.
B. H.
Very pleasant atmosphere - excellent food especially all day breakfast. Excellent coffee/ cakes and alcohol on offer. Great music at the right volume.
Can get too busy and noisy when mums with babies are in - usually mornings about 11 ( if you like it very quiet!). Staff are very friendly and efficient.
I'm no longer worried about the noise as I avoid the mornings now, but great to hear they will fitting noise reduction/ sound installation to reduce it.
I have been going here most days for a few years and will continue to do so. Most days there is a choice of papers and weekly news.

***EDIT***
Our first experience here wasn't great, it was peak time and it was just way too busy to properly look after people. This time however, we were there early and on a Thursday morning, so it was way less busy. I would definitely recommend going when it's not so rammed. The menu really is fantastic: Crab Benedict, regular Benedict, Shakshuka, huevos rancheros, breakfast burger, full English, all your favourites, the only thing missing was a kedgeree. Surprisingly, even though Shakshuka is in my top 3 breakfasts I went with the breakfast burger, with homemade hash browns, the bacon was superb and perfect with the chilli jam, my only gripe was the bun it was served in which was a little too dense and dry, other than that though, was pleased.

Coming from Sydney, we totally admit that, when it comes to breakfast, we're utter snobs. But, can happily say that the quality of the food, coffee, juices and baked goods are just as good as you get there. Really enjoyed the Shakshuka and the Tofu Hollandaise is a great example of vegan food done well. Staff are lovely too!
A. C. G.
When there with some friends for breakfast and I was delightdd! Great selection with vegetarian and vegan options. They also accommodate your needs and tastes as much as they can, allowing you extras that they are not in the menu, like extra halloumi in their English breakfast or almond milk in their smoothies. Definitely will come back.
A. R.
I love this place. A must every time I’m in Brighton.
The Huevos rancheros is amazing. Price is decent and the portion sizes are great. You must try the hash browns, they're the best I've ever had.
Also even on a Sunday, didn’t have to queue for a table ! But I'd advise getting there early, it does get busier after 10am
Edit: In addition the coffee is amazing and they have a wide range of alternative milks. Oat/Soy/Almond for sure.

Had a lovely breakfast with my family on a Saturday morning. We were served by the kind and sunny Rita and ate the signature Moksha Breakfast, with free range sausage, bacon and egg. The decaf latte I had was full bodied and well rounded, none of that eatery bitter stuff most cafes seem to be offering. We hope to come again!
N. D.
The food was yumie🥰🥰🥰 The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They even helped us with a list of places we would see in Brighton. A nice place
J. L.
The best brunch place in Brighton! Great food and such a good price! Yum! Always my first choice.
E. G.
Enjoy a delicious Eggs Benedict with the homemade hash brown is my fav thing! One of the best places to enjoy a brunch. :)))
H. P.
Visited Moksha earlier this week with the family. Food was tasty and the service was very friendly. The menu had a good variety for everyone and it was served promptly after ordering. It's a little walk away from the seafront but worth it for amazing breakfast and lunch food!
p. j.
Quality fresh food, friendly & willing service, good price. Generous portion of grilled cherry tomatoes, hummus & garlic avocado on sour dough. We enjoyed tasty well presented food.
C. T.
Had brunch here today with 2 friends...we each ate something different and were all very impressed...the food was fresh and delicious and they use locally sourced free range meat. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend 😊
K. T.
I went with family. The food was excellent but it took an hour to arrive. When I very politely asked how much longer it would be the waitress snapped that we were up next. I waited ten minutes and asked the woman at the till who was polite and said she would check. Before she could check the grumpy waitress then came up and snapped again that we were next up. They took 10% off our bill for the wait but I would rather have had a polite serving person. Giving it a 4 instead of 3 stars because I hope the grumpy person was just having a bad day and the food was good.
T. M.
The best cafe in Brighton, bar far. Ollie has a fantastic range of food and cakes, teas and coffee. All home made and high quality ingredients. How they keep the standard so high when it's so busy I do not know, but they do. Service is also excellent. I've been coming here since they opened and was impressed from the start but they continue to impress me. We are lucky to have this place in Brighton. The pumpkin pie they do around Halloween is my favourite
A. G.
Amazing food and drinks - best place we have ever been for gluten free food and the service is fantastic!
J. D.
My favourite place to get brunch. They do great coffee, awesome pancakes and their full English is a treat. Staff are always friendly and service is quick.
W. M.
The atmosphere, layout, food, drink and service were all very good. This is one of the nicest cafe I've been in. I went in with a group of friends, one with a pushchair, and we all sat comfortably. The girl who served us was super friendly.
J. H.
Excellent place, never had a bad coffee there. Discount with keep cups and if you leave your there like I did once, they keep that cup too and you get it back next time you go...! Fast becoming my favourite coffee shop in all of Brighton.
B. K.
Fantastic place. Good venue and good menu options. Food is fresh and good quality tasting.
O. L.
Lovely place with great food and service 👍
B. C.
Service, cleanliness, price 5 starts. Not a fan of the beans but that's the way she goes. Great full English and blueberry pancakes.
L. M.
Lovely tomatoes on toast with avocado and coffee. Unfortunately one of the staff was a bit rude to me and my friend hence the 4 stars.
A. B.
Incredible service! So friendly and attentive. As soon as we sat down we were served water by a lovely waiter who recommended things on the menu. Excellent coffee and chai latte. Phenomenal food.
D. M. I.
We enjoyed the atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly and happy and they really put a smile on my face.
The food was tasty fresh and up to a high standard.
B. E.
If you're ever in the mood for brunch, make sure you visit this place. Not far from the station, this place has great food, a nice wide range of drinks available, and seating options outside and inside. They have wifi too, in case you need an escape to get some work done. Most staff here are friendly. Honestly, don't miss out on this place.
I. R.
Best soup I've ever had, curried cauliflower and lentil, proper chunky soup, great portion size and lovely coffee. Attentive service. What's not to like.
A. H.
Every relationship needs a favourite restaurant.
Scene: Living in Brighton, starting a new and lovely relationship, and having a desperate need for breakfast.
Enter Moksha: a place of lovely perfection. The people are kind and place is bustling yet cozy, the fresh mint tea is just what you need on a nippy morning (add a slice of lemon for a bit of Zing). In terms of breakfast, my go-to has and always will be the American style pancakes with bacon and Halloumi.
You laugh, but for realsies, it's a combo made in heaven. It was recommended by a server when asked the question "if you could have anything here, what would it be?". My other half swears blind by the hash browns.
Basically, there's something here for everyone, and while years later we no longer live in Brighton, we still make special trips just to enjoy the nostalgia and fantastic food.
A. A.
Amazing place- buzzy and fabulous service. Great selection of food- pancakes are incredible and the hash browns melt in the mouth! Don't hesitate to book!!
A. F.
The food is absolutely amazing, prices are reasonable, the place looks cute and cosy, and a big shoutout to our waiter (I think his name might be Michal) who’s adorable and always remembers me ! I couldn’t recommend enough !
O. M.
Top quality coffee & breakfast. Loved the Huevos Rancheros and the hash browns are to die for.
A. N.
Really good breakfast but slightly surreal response to asking if it was possible to have my hollandaise sauce on the side rather than on top of my eggs "the chef won't make any alterations to what's on the menu." Surprised I asked the waitress to check as I wasn't asking to replace the hollandaise but just preference to have a small amount on the side. She came back and said it was fine. On another occasion my wife said not to worry about the portion of baked beans as she doesn't like them: we know they come in a separate dish so just a matter of not including them and ultimately wasting them on a customer who wouldn't eat them. Again, the firm response was "the chef won't make any alterations to what's on the menu." Appreciate the chef doesn't want to be replacing parts of every dish ordered, but he/she sounds like a tyrant who puts the fear of god into the waitresses (I'm sure they're not!). Perhaps might expect it in The Savoy but a particularly bizarre and unwelcoming attitude to have in a Brighton cafe. Grub is awesome though, so probably worth being told off for.
C. B.
Glorious little find in Brighton. We visited in a group for Sunday brunch and were very well looked after. The menu has both classic (yet classy) versions of the full English, or something a little more exotic like shakshuka. My eggs benedict was one of the best I've had, with delicious italian-style ham, sourdough, and delicate homemade hollandaise. Top points for my homemade chai latte. The decor is pared back, but perfectly nice, with a lovely skylight at the back. Staff are fantastic, and prices are fair (and for us London-livers, really rather cheap).
G. S.
An excellent cafe/restaurant, especially for a late morning brunch. Popular with local new mums so if exuberant children upset you, perhaps lunch would be better. Good food and highly efficient staff.
R. M.
Great location, Space is really well taken care off, very impressive as soon as you walk in.
Drinks are decent, I only got to try a few smoothies but they are on the cheaper side so can't complain, food was above average even if the chef was a bit heavy on the black pepper, friend kept on sneezing the entire time. I think does place falls flat when it comes to service and table care, we were lead to a table for two where we only had one menu, sugar was already on the table (hate that), we had cutlery that had clearly been touched, finger marks on the blade etc. Ordering wasn't easy, and I can't blame the staff, they clearly never had proper training, they stood to close to you which difficult talking, since it's hard to make eye contact therefore harder to maintain a conversation, I have to walk with a crutch which was removed without my authorisation, I mean I don't mind if you have to take it since I can be problematic if someone trips but discussing this with me before hand would be great, also bit of attitude which results in me not feeling great in the business, as a server you should be leading me through the experience not getting frustrated if I'm unfamiliar with the way you do things.
Overall above average, just spend some time on training and you would have a gold mine there.
N. L.
Great coffee, very well presented!
Fantastic food, looked amazing, tasted amazing, and a lot for a reasonable price.
The atmosphere was really nice, I enjoyed the music, and family friendly too!
W. T.
Best pancakes i ever had!
M. V.
Coffee was good, but the style of service is unclear, some getting table service, others not, just seemed a little inconsistent
E. H.
What flavours. I keep being amazed.
S. B.
Brunch and lunch which is quite busy on weekends but will find you a seat pretty quick! They have non dairy milk and at least one gluten-free and vegan brunch option.
M. S.
Simply the best cafe in Brighton. Great food. Goid service. Reasonable price. I had the heuvos rancheros which was great. Had child's fish fingers "double thumbs up". Good.
A. A.

J. H.
Really good food and coffee is up there with the best in town, child friendly with good access for a double buggy. They stop serving food at 3pm so get there in plenty of time for lunch and enjoy a meal as well as a cake!
E.

Tasty food, reasonable price, good service. Excellent variety of dishes with good portion size. We paid £60 for lunch & drinks for 5 people and all enjoyed
L. F.
I really miss the comfy seating and don't find myself going so often now, but for a central location high street cafe, it's nice - with decent produce, if a little noisy due to being quite tightly packed space and hard surfaces
V. D.
Tasty Breakfast with friendly service
P. D.
Went for the excellent pancakes but also had the moksha breakfast... All good
A. D. T.
Wonderful place to eat, clean and the staff was briliant with served
