Small plates dinner. Nice vibe, friendly staff. Food was good, really decent portion sizes for sharing. The salmon was served in the most delicious broth! Cod and beans were also excellent, although both fish would have been perfect if the skin was crispy! Would happily return, hopefully for a roast next time as often hear them being mentioned. Thanks!

The Sunday roast is the best thing I’ve tasted in Brighton. I ordered the beef cheek and it was so tender it melted in my mouth. The staff were helpful and friendly as well. Highly recommend and remember to book in advance!

Amazing!! Booked in for a group of 14 for a roast on Sunday. Amazing email communication, lovely setting and really enjoyable experience. Out of 14 roasts, of every kind, no one had anything to complain about. The beef cheek was amazingly tender, huge crackling and a broad range of veggies. For a late roast, and a big group, it was exceptional. Working in hospo, we understand how difficult it can be with large tables and lots of orders and split cheques, so huge hats off to all the staff. Lovely cocktails, wine and chilled staff. Thanks so so much, can’t recommend enough. ❤️

I’ve been here twice now for a Sunday Roast, first time being with a couple of friends and second time with a big group (upon my recommendation) for my sister’s leaving party and I have been absolutely blown away by the quality both times.
Everyone was in agreement that this is the best roast dinner they’ve had and, believe me when I say this, we’ve all tried many a roast dinner.
The food was faultless. The beef cheek was so tender it just fell apart, the pork belly was all meat with little fat (perfect balance) and the chicken was so succulent and flavourful I don’t see how it could ever be beaten.
The veggies that came with each dish were cooked perfectly and had so much flavour as well. There was a great variety, from crispy roast potatoes to perfectly steamed tender stem broccoli. There was also a delicious swede and carrot mash, and wonderfully spiced and stewed red cabbage. The Yorkies were home made and spot on and we were served three big skillets of Cauliflower Cheese, baked to perfection, to share between us.
The service was incredibly attentive, with the staff going above and beyond to make sure we were all happy, looked after well, and never waiting in need of another drink.
The atmosphere and decor is great, and there’s also a big garden with loads of benches out the back which was a lovely surprise.
All in all a 10/10, can’t find a fault anywhere. Will be back to this place again and again!!

The taster menu was absolutely gorgeous, and the wine pairing perfect. All meat was beautifully cooked, especially the pork belly. Post House Brighton is the perfect spot for a cosy date night or somewhere impressive to bring someone visiting.

Had a fab dinner here celebrating graduation 2 weeks ago. We chose the Small Plates menu for 4 and each dish was amazing. Lovely service and atmosphere in upstairs dining room. Would thoroughly recommend it xxx

Brighton’s shiny new best kept secret. Tucked away on Ship Street this is one for us locals. It has the cool vibe of a private London club. We spent a lazy Sunday afternoon enjoying a long lunch and some of the best Bloody Mary’s around. Definitely going back for seconds soon. X

Great friendly staff, huge generous roasts right next to the Ivy. Will be back and highly recommend their Sunday Roasts.

We visited on Friday 1st April and sampled the tasting menu for 2. Firstly we had a brilliant table overlooking Ship Street and the hustle bustle of Brighton early Friday evening. Next the food was unbelievably FAB, we ploughed our way through 10 courses and loved every one. (Favourites being beets & feta, pork belly, beef cheeks ghnocci and smashing garlic green veg. Brilliant drink selection delish rose and nostalgically proper negroni's 😊. Now onto the staff OMG from the moment we walked in through the door we were made to feel so very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, even my asking loads of questions! We had 3 AMAZING server's but unfortunately I only managed to get one of their names so a shout out to "Vic" and the other 2 anonymous but equally brilliant server's. Many thanks and much appreciation for a FAB meal at a lovely venue. We'll be back 😀
