Reviews of Presuming Ed's Coffee House

The coffee is lovely, the staff are all nice, helpful and kind. The only thing that let it down for me was the pumping music. It was a bit loud for me. It's totally cool but I was struggling to hear my friends convo so we went somewhere a bit quieter. I know the importance of music when you are doing a tough job but it was maybe a bit too loud for me. Well worth checking out. Its the best place for coffee on London Rd that I have found. Maybe I'm just getting too old and grumpy.

Unique place both coffee and alcohol available. We went for a couple of beers. Quirky decor with computer controllers hanging from the ceiling and stuffed snake or two around. Bright and colourful inside and out. Quite a studenty feel. Pretty run down toilets but somehow they suit this place. :D

The vegan oriental food I ate at this establishment was just spectacular! Feel bad that I forgot the name of the dishes and unfortunately it isn't located on the Google menu. But, i believe the first dish was sweet potatoe fries in sweet chille sauce (and other ingredients I'm sure) with a vegan "pork belly" topped with hoisin sauce in a bao bun (also other ingredients in there I'm sure). Was very very tasty and unbelievably satisfying. The atmosphere was warm, pleasant and had a great selection of background music. Staff was friendly with very efficient service aswell. A wonderful experience and so glad i visted this place.

Potentially the best place for coffee and beer in Brighton
They are chilled, kind, funny and bloody friendly
We own a pub a can sat without a showdown of a doubt we would happily spend every hour of our time off in there
Smashing it guys

Oh my the food here is fantastic! Been going here for coffee and snacks for a while but they have recently started serving brunch and its so good! Meat and veggie/vegan options available. Def recommended. Super friendly staff too.

We stumbled across this place last night when we managed to get a table despite every pub being really busy and we are so happy that chance took us here! The owner and staff are amazing, so funny and friendly, the vibe is lovely and great service! Well priced drinks, got that Brighton vibe we all love. We are soooo excited to come back to do the escape room and VR, and get some brekkie and coffee. Thank you for putting a well-needed smile on our faces post lockdown! See you soon!

Soft drinks are quite expensive. Decor is bohemian but lacks class and cleanliness.
Vegan roasts are amazing! But that's a pop-up so not their own food.

Great place, great vibe. Nice outdoor seating area, good for people watching if you've got nothing else to do. Also, alcohol-free beer on draught.

A favourite coffee hangout. The place is full of irreverent and chaotic charm :) Excellent coconut bircher too!

Bumped into a friend outside, so went in. Instant chilled vibe. Hugely eclectic decor and 'lived-in' feel. Didn't have any limes for our g&t's... so the (I think) owner/manager, went out and got some. Don't know if it was Happy Hour, but 2 large g&t's for £12 was impressively cheap. Busy for the time of day without feeling crowded. Will return for more than a quick drink.
