Like many other people I'm sure, we bought ourselves a proper coffee machine (Sage Barista) in lockdown so that we could still get our coffee fix. We tried a few local roasters where we live in Nottingham but never found that perfect blend. A friend of mine recommended White Cloud and specifically their Desk Jockey Blend. I ordered some in June 2020 and have been hooked ever since. I've experimented with a few other roasters in the meantime but nothing has come close in terms of the smooth, nutty taste and the value for money. In addition to their excellent coffee, Craig and Phil were a great help when I was learning to use the new coffee machine and gave me loads of great tips to improve my coffee making. I wish I lived closer to Brighton so that I could try out their cafe. If I'm ever in the area, I will definitely pay them a visit.

I have been a regular at White Cloud for a while, as it’s the best coffee in Brighton! Their coffee is always amazing and staff are really friendly. I can’t wait for the new cafe at Circus Street to open!

The coffee was amazing!! It was soooooo silky smooth, thick and just the best. Someone recommended it to me and I can definitely see why! I really like how the coffee is a suitable temperature and you can drink it straight away, unlike coffee from places like Costa where it's really hot and you need to wait for it to cool down. If you add a shot of vanilla syrup, the vanilla taste really comes through or if with the gingerbread syrup it just makes it taste sweet which is amazing. Definitely recommend these guys :)

This is one of the nicest places I've been for a cuppa. Located by the beach. Nice undercover seating with benches and heated lamps. Don't be put off by the location especially with the Brighton winter weather. The friendly staff, great hot drinks and yummy homemade cake, its so worth a step away from the business of the city and have some downtime.

My favourite coffee shop in Brighton and fantastic seafront location. Delicious coffee and lovely staff have kept us going throughout some chilly winter walks and been a very welcome treat post bike ride! Great set up taking into account COVID restrictions, feeling both safe and super welcoming with outdoor ordering and take away. Excellent and gloriously tasty non-dairy alternatives too which are a massive win - Love this place!

Best coffee in Brighton without a doubt. Hard working friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. Even with Covid restrictions they are are able to continue for take away and have a good setup for social distant ordering and collection, which is great during a long cold dog walk or a post swim warm up. Good selection of drinks and dog friendly.

Lovely coffee! Think it is in a great location! Friendly staff! Be nice to sit down there now lockdown is over but takeaway was lovely too. Didn't have any food items, but menu did look good. Reasonable price, not too expensive. Really enjoyed the coffee, I'm sure I'll be back!

Found out about these guys as a fantastic coffee subscription service - roasted and packed as its ordered for that yummy barista punch. Excellent coffee, next door to the 'Sea Lanes' containers, down on Madeira Terrace. Usually go to the brilliant Yellow Wave Beach Cafe but the coffee here is even better. May be seasonal, well worth grabbing a drink if you're passing.
