Great cafe with absolute wonderful staff! They're all so kind and friendly, we're on vacation right now and we come for breakfast every day! The best soy-flat white I drank so far and the food is absolutely delicious! We love it! We visit brighton very often, definitely our new favourite place for breakfast. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Good customer service - a relaxing afternoon sitting outside was almost ruined by an abusive passer by who (wrongly) thought I'd sworn at him when I asked him politely to go away when he harassed my friend and I. A man sitting nearby (who I should have thanked at the time) intervened and I was touched by the concern of a lovely member of staff who checked if I was ok and if there was anything she could do. The coffee is great too!

I've been here twice recently and whilst the experiences haven't been terrible, they've been haphazard and the experience not what you'd expect considering the prices. On one visit there was no table for us despite us having a booking, because "we didn't check the bookings this morning." No apology offered and we were sat in the shared working area at the back to wait for a table. The staff are friendly when approached but if you want anything you need to find them, they come and take your order when you sit down but don't come over again to check everything is alright, see if you'd like anything else or bring you the bill, you have to approach the counter. The food is tasty, but sometimes feels overpriced. On our first visit the food was brilliant, all six of us agreed. On our second visit we had some of the new menu items from the range of Smørrebrød. We didn't receive Smørrebrød, we received avocado on sourdough toast and mushroom on sourdough toast, overpriced at £9 each. Disappointingly, we also wanted to order some doughnuts which were labelled as vegan but it turns out they weren't vegan, they didn't remove the vegan label after we had a conversation about it so if you're vegan or intolerant it's best to check before you buy. On one visit the toilets were out of order and flooding in to the restaurant, something we weren't aware of until we had finished our meals and needed to use them, no apology offered for this. On the second visit I used the toilet but could find no facilities to dry my hands. The only member of staff I could find was the chef, when I asked him for something with which to dry my hands he seemed confused and said they don't have anything. When pushed he went and dug out a roll of toilet paper from the store room for me. Overall, the restaurant is pretty and the staff are nice if inattentive. The food is tasty, with quality ingredients. It's all just a little rough around the edges.

The coffee here this weekend was amazing! Such lovely services and I could see all staff were really busy - everyone working hard. Definitely will be back soon, super impressed.

Food was fantastic despite the wait and haphazard issues (chef texted late he wasnt coming in). Really delicious food. Complained about service and the waiting and was treated really well. If you are not so hungry you could eat the table enjoy a wonderful brunch there.

Great menu for brunch here - pancakes are truly impressive and coffee up to the usual high standard to be expected from these guys. Let down by junior staff team that seems to feel they should be somewhere else doing something else.

Really loved this place - three of us plus a baby came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed delicious smoothies, breakfast bowls and cooked breakfast. Really recommend the Veggie Bowl, with perfectly poached egg, sweet potato, spinach, lake, avo & hummus. The surroundings were really open & spacious with cool exposed brick walls, plants & a chilled vibe. They also had a highchair and were very accommodating of the little one, who wanted to wave at all the staff! We also felt it was good value for money - £40 for the three (and a half) of us for coffee, food & smoothies. Would definitely come here again!

Great food! Great service and roomy inside. The coffee is excellent, and I am picky with coffee! The food is tasty - caters really well for dietary requirements, and every time I have Asked questions about the menu the staff (mainly Sam, who I believe is the manager!) are knowledgeable and very happy to make changes to accommodate me! Was recommended to go for a veggy brunch here a few days ago and it did not disappoint! Was greeted with a warm welcome at the door by the manager and was served by Jodie - nothing was too much trouble. Best tapas I have ever eaten, was absolutely delicious. Nice modern setting, comfy seating and very well presented food. Only thing letting it down was the lack of diners although it was a Thursday evening at the end of the eat out to help out scheme which might explain why but I wanted to leave a review to help spread the word! 10/10

Atmosphere and food is amazing! Waitress Zoe was very polite and professional. The manager Sam was very welcoming and has a fantastic team here. I would recommend having brunch or dinner everyday of the week, like I pretty much do :)

Consistent and best coffee in Brighton. Apart from the coffee, the food and and other drinks are very much overpriced. Quality of the food needs to be much better for the price as advertised on the menu. As for Covid-19, customers are generally over cautious due to the unreasonable current guidelines. If it is so serious then don’t dine out. Most of the staff are very friendly and courteous. Nice atmosphere.

5 STARS is not enough! This place, I mean it opened during lockdown or the takeover and renovation was during lockdown. It just appeared from nowhere! I LOVE this place, the food menu is amazing, the quality and presentation of the food you get here is like Michelin star quality at prices locals can afford to dine at every day! The staff are all great, and know how to look after their customers so they come back! Katsu/ Thai Chicken is the ONE! The roast their own coffee too! (who does that??) The drinks are all branded in their own tins! The attention to detail is sublime. There is NOTHING like this place in Brighton, and that’s why WOLFOX Avenue will be here for a very long time as part of the city. Hats off to the team and the amazing food and drinks and desert they deliver up 7 days a week in the cool coffee shop / restaurant / bar! I wasn't paid to write this review!! I travel lots between places like this for business and this one really stands out, it's a must for you reading this so Enjoy!! P.S If this review is the reason why you to visit them, just say the man who orders an entire lemon in his sparkling water is the reason why you found this place. I attended this venue on Monday for brunch and was blown away by the friendly and attentive staff! The waitress with the black slicked back bob was incredibly helpful and informative, and made my visit to Brighton really enjoyable! I will 1000% be returning to this venue!

Coffee and a cinnamon bun today at this lovely spot. The staff are so friendly and chill. My kind of place. It’s not far from the seashore, which makes it a lovely place to pop into for a bit of respite.
