I ordered a dry cappuccino with hazelnut and I selected a giant scone with jam and fresh cream from the amazing selection of treats on offer. The staff were polite and helpful. They say the proof is In the eating and they didn't disappoint. Perfect cappuccino

I visited Coffee #1 at Chipping Sodbury when following the GU2 trail. It is typical of that chain with distresed furniture and refurbished wooden floors. The coffee was good and the service acceptable for an out of the city establishment. Although it was hot outside it was cool and pleasant inside. There is plenty of space too. I repeated my visit to Coffee #1, great coffee and cake and excellent service.

Went to this place for a coffee on a Sunday morning in Chipping Sodbury. Couldn't believe how busy it was. Great selection of coffees, sweets and savouries. My only complaint was it was far too busy - we had to wait for 20 minutes before being served.

We use this Coffee#1 regularly. Always friendly sometimes busy but always a nice atmosphere. Well behaved dogs are welcome so that's good too. Good selection of drinks and snacks available. Quite a sizeable seating area and a small outside area behind. Recommended.

Good coffee however empty tables piled with used cups need clearing more regularly. This isn't just a one off experience. It really wouldn't take long to clear the tables especially important at the moment with covid 19 still circulating.

Love it! Very clean and organised which is always reassuring! A 10 minute wait isn't unreasonable when you consider the quality of the product but also how busy it is! The last reviewer mentioned rude staff!! From my recent visits there, the staff have done an incredible job dealing with some very rude customers, so all credit to them. They have maintained their usual high standards and friendly, helpful attitude whilst constantly dealing with rude and seemingly miserable people that want to try everything possible to avoid wearing masks (there is a pandemic on in case those selfish people have missed it!). Well done Coffee#1 for enforcing the rules, we are grateful!

Very friendly staff and lovely coffee, my Greyhound even got a frothy milk and it was free! I had a problem with the coffee1 app initially so they gave me a free coffee and a large one at that to make up for not having my card stamped on the app. Will be going back again, lovely atmosphere and the staff are so layed back and helpful, highly recommended!

Great coffee and fantastic food with a good atmosphere EDIT: So my initial review was a year ago and in that time, unfortunately this Coffee#1 seems to have gotten worse which is unfortunate! There always seems to be a queue out of the door and they've lost the ability to make a flat white like they used to. Their selection of cakes has also changed + gotten more expensive :/

A great place with brilliant staff. The hot chocolate and coffee aren't watered down, there's a great selection of food and drink, with free water available and dog biscuits. They also have a good selection of child sized drinks and snacks. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.

A bit hit and miss, and you will usually need to be prepared to wait. The service is OK at best, and the coffee varies in terms of which baristw you get. They are one of the few cafes I know of to use a spatula to regulate the amount of foam and milk poured into the cup, rather than just use smaller jugs. That is being very critical though. If you are not expecting a top level coffee, and just want a nice relaxing stop, with a bite to eat whilst wandering past the gorgeous florist and array of little shops in the mews, then this is ideal.
