This is one of my absolute FAVOURITE places in Bristol!! I am working my way through the breakfast/brunch menu and everything I've had had so far been insanely good😍!! Just Wow ! In my opinion this is one of the best brunch we can find in Bristol actually: the food is really qualitative and tasty. You feel the freshest in your plate and all the ingredients really yummy and prepared with love. The Menu give you lot of salted choices and you can also find a lot of cakes and pastries when you will order your coffee ☕ we went for the expresso caramel brownie and when you feel all the ingredients melt in your mouth you know that an amazing brownie ! Much appreciated to find a Matcha coffee here. Lovely and welcoming staff inside, we have been served quickly. The place is quite small, not so much tables, to keep the atmosphere cosy in the middle of plants. You can buy some Italian Products, some Plants or just coffee and food . The price is really fine following our brunch and facing the choices we had Thanks a lot, we will come back for sure 🍰

Came here yesterday for my birthday breakfast with my husband, I love independent café's and really like house plants so was a win win. The coffee was exceptional and really well made and they stock alternative milks too. I had a delicious breakfast with focaccia, burrata, prosciutto and tomatoes and my husband had the pancakes which happened to be vegan and he really enjoyed it and said was very fresh. I loved the toy story shelf too made me smile.

We've been wanting to visit Foliage Cafe for AGES. It's a popular Clifton hangout and rightly so, with a great menu and an array of succulents and other attractive plants adorning the walls and ceiling. During our visit - perhaps subconsciously influenced by the surrounding greenery - we strayed slightly from our usual staple choices (latte, cappuccino, flat white... yawn) and opted for a matcha latte. It was great! Smooth, unsweetened and bursting with matcha flavour. We're converts. The food served at Foliage Cafe is also well regarded. Their menu includes typical cafe favourites such as cooked breakfasts, hearty sandwiches and sweet treats. Judging from our fellow customers' empty plates, this seems to be extremely well received. They also have shelves packed with loaves, tea and coffee, jams, chocolate and all manner of other tempting refreshments. In summary, as you may have guessed from what you've just read, we would highly recommend a visit to Foliage Cafe next time you're in Clifton. They're popular and you may have a short wait for a table, but it's justified. The food and drink are delicious and the atmosphere is charming. What's more, the friendly, unflustered staff complement the decor perfectly to cultivate a homely vibe that is sure to keep any green fingered coffee head happy. Enjoy!

Unique, rustic and chic. They take great care in how they prepare their coffee. The menu items cater to vegan and gluten free customers, as well as carnivores. Excellent food and baked goods. I was tempted to buy one of the many plants they had for sale, but I opted for two sausage rolls- next time!

As soon as we saw the Italian products in the store we were sure that their products must be incredible. We were not mistaken. We got a latte and a hot chocolate - both made with care and the taste was perfect. The store is very nicely decorated and also has delicious pastries, sandwiches and desserts to choose from. Would definitely recommend!

Really nice shop with coffee! The price is pretty good and you can enjoy comfortable environment with a lot of plants. I will give it 5/5 if only the space for the table will be bigger and if it will be bigger space between tables (it's max 1 m and it's way not enough to sit comfortable).

DOG FRIENDLY first of all, we loved it. It’s not all about vegetarian meals, most of it is but they do extras on the menu like bacon. Really tasty food and really filling, staff are just so cool. We’ll be back when we’re in town next.

Overrated place! The dishes are very instagrammable indeed but the quality of ingredients isn’t great so the taste is average. The service is not really nice, the matcha powder in latte wasn’t mixed at all and when I asked to replace it the barista got annoyed by this request.

Such a nice little spot. We come here very often, wether it's to have something to eat or popping in just for a cup of coffee. We've tried pretty much everything from the menu at this point. Their sandwiches are amazing but make sure to try their pancakes! They cater for gluten free people and have vegan options too!

I've had a lot of lattes in a lot of different places, and the lattes from The Foliage Cafe are some of the best I've had. It's a shame it's… A) So far from my house B) So difficult to park C) So popular! Nice range of cakes but very limited "cosy" seating and when you're sitting down at one of the tables, be prepared to have people getting takeaway walking past your table. It would be great if they could move to some larger premises (preferably closer to where I live) whilst keeping the quality aspect that so many of the larger cafés seem to lose sight of when they go over a certain size.

This used to be Wainwright's Coffee. The licence has been purchased by an Italian guy and the entire place has been transformed. It is much much lighter and the addition of plants everywhere in the coffee makes this a great place to relax, work, and have a great coffee. All dishes are prepared with love and prices are more than reasonable.

The Foliage Cafe has a great character about it, with a bright room accompanied by wooden furniture and cute plants for sale. The Espresso Bean had a rich yet subtle fruity taste to it in a more style Italian Coffee from the Beautiful La Marzco machine. Had a great dine in experience back in September 2020 however the revisit this June felt a little Low Frequency. Hoping for a return to greatness when i next pass by this little gem of coffee shop.

Superb Hot and Cold drinks - The best coffee in Bristol! I love the natural mood in this shop with all of the plants. The menu, sandwiches, pastries and cakes are all wonderful. My only criticisms are that it would be nice to have a slightly more elaborate vegan brunch option other than mushrooms on toast. This is still a nice dish, but it would be great to see something like a vegan english breakfast. My last criticism is that I found one of the baristas could have been friendly. Most of the staff are lovely! But, I felt that this barista could have been more polite and friendly generally. Other than those two things, it is my favourite cafe in Bristol and I'd recommend to anyone who asks for a great local cafe!

My daughter wanted to visit here after reading the reviews online. For her birthday we had a socially distant visit here for takeaways, not ideal but that's life at the moment! Service was very friendly, there was a great range of coffees and milks and the cake range, although temporarily limited, looked delicious. Prices were decent and it made a nice change to get out and enjoy a coffee again.

Great new coffee spot in Clifton village. The friendly owners are are serving clifton coffee and certainly know how to make a good espresso. I have it on good authority the flat white was equally well done. They're slowly expanding their food offerings so I'll be back to see what they have.
