Mother Hen cheered us up after our flight was cancelled at Bristol Airport. I believe they serve the best sausage rolls anywhere , and the Victoria Sponge was scrumptious. We both had tea too. Very nice and friendly service. They also do loads of very special greeting cards if you are looking for something different to send to someone special....and pottery for sale by Lyra! Excellent all round! 👍🍰

Very nice little café! We come hear often and each time it does not fail to impress. Lots of jumpers and other clothing items which are lovely and of a high quality! Great little cafe offering really good coffee (other drinks are available), cakes and light lunches. The bonus of gifts and the pottery workshops are a real bonus. A kiddies reading corner, wifi, and the zero waste pantry next door!

I needed a break cycling through Wrington I noticed the outside tables at a café I stopped for coffee and the waitress told me they had freshly baked stilton sausage rolls, well what a treat I was in for I’ve never had such a delicious sausage roll ever. Eaten with a cappuccino this will become a regular stop on my rides now and I recommend it to anyone cycling or walking

The service was slow. My husband had a bacon sandwich which was ok but that was all 0n his plate bacon sandwich. When the 2 other people ordered bacon sandwiches theirs came with salad on the side and crisps.? Why was ours so different. Was it because we were cyclists? We were charged the same price!
