The wonderful Spicer & Cole. While I was transitioning from WFH to spending more time in the studio (we are next door..) The promise of a guest americano and their excellent pastries (Can recommend the Pain aux raisin) was quite literally the main reason I would come in. We're very lucky to have them in Bristol.

Lovely breakfast. I had veggie and hubby had standard. Both delicious. The spicy beans with the veggie one are fabulous. I need that recipe. Perfectly poached eggs. Lovely staff. Shame we're only visiting for the weekend, but breakfast is sorted now!

Hustling on lunchtime, but still manage to get space to sit inside. Coffee was amazing, and they have selections of delis and cakes (which i didn't try, but surely would love to next time!). Great wifi too, so cant complain.

Good food and coffee including fresh salads. Breakfasts are served until 11.30 with avocado sourdough toast as well as full English and pastries. It is not open at weekends but it is not far to go to their other café on Welsh Back.

Lovely friendly warm welcome. Excellent selection of snacks, cakes and lunch. I only had a flat white, which was well made and brought to my table (always like a bit of table service me). Excellent coffee, strong flavours and smooth milk.

Popped in for coffee, ended up having breakfast and cake! Really friendly helpful staff. Great coffee and great food. On-street seating as well as a selection of low, high and bar style chairs. Highly recommended. Was a nice experience.

Gorgeous food and good service. There was a 25 minute wait for food which we were informed of when ordering, and although one of the wrong items was brought this was quickly remedied (and I think just a case of it being difficult to understand what people are saying while wearing masks). There is less seating than usual inside due to social distancing but additional seating is provided outside.

Great food, drinks and ambiance. The staff are lovely as well. Amazing coffee, but also tasty hot chocolate and tea as caffeine-free options. I love their gluten-free baked goods. They have a delicious lunch spread which draws a crowd, so it can get quite busy around that time. Nonetheless, it’s a nice spot to chat or get some work done with great music playing at the perfect volume. My only complaint is that they don’t have any gluten-free bread, so I haven’t had the chance to try any of their tasty-looking sandwiches.

This is an incredibly popular place and not without a reason. Our veggie breakfast plate was hearty and delicious, with every items on it being quality product and prepared with care. Their coffee was soo tasty. We will be returning.

Good breakfast. Much better bacon and sausage than most cafes. Bread nice and quality coffee. Downside was the poached eggs, which were overcooked and solid. Normally that is a no no, but the other ingredients were good enough to carry it.

My late drink was lovely. Pricey but different. Carrot cake too dry for my liking needs to be moist. Plum and honey cheap and lovely. Guinness and something cake lovely. Lovely feel about the place. Definitely worth a visit. Interesting foods ,melts etc.

Came in yesterday for a spot of lunch, what a lovely cafe! The staff are all really friendly and attentive and it's a really cool space, very light and airy. I had the beans special which was super tasty, would definitely go back again!

Really good food and coffee but I've marked it down two stars for the ridiculous queuing system. I popped in on my way back to the office after lunch just wanting to pick up a coffee. There were a large amount of people queuing for food, which takes some time to arrange. I asked a staff member if I could just order a coffee at the till and they told me I had to wait in line behind the people ordering food. After about 5 minutes waiting I just left, it seems madness when the cashier is just waiting to take orders and the barista is standing around waiting for coffee orders.

Ok so there's two Spicer and Coles in the area but I prefer this one near the city centre and cross the park. Why? That's because it opens at a decent time, is much more spacious and is a quiet place to work.

The good coffee and best vegan and vegetarian food. Environment in the restaurant is very good. People are very friendly. Location is good and. Price worth the food. There are some brunch options are available. I like them a lot.
