C. 1. L.Well what can i say about AJ's Coffee House. Ran by the wonderful K and home to one of the best fry ups in Cardiff, it is most defiantly one of my favourite Cafes in Cardiff.
Not only does it have fantastic food and drink, the cafe is homely and friendly. I'm a big fan of the garden.
All in all one of the best cafes in Cardiff! 6 Stars!
L. M.Superb little coffee shop, have a variety of coffees. I had a cafe bonbon (espresso with condensed milk) and my wife had a flat white. The breakfasts and eggs benedict are highly recommended. The coffees were great, better than the chains on nearby Albany Road. They even hire the cafe out in the evenings, £75 and karaoke for an extra £25. I'll be making this shop my regular

H. D.Popped in today for a berry smoothie and a BLT. Smoothie was lovely, lots of it too, not the usual thimble full you normally see in places. BLT was outstanding. Haven't found one that beats University of Glamorgan's Union BLT back in 1999, this one does. Stunning. Thanks!

H. O.I love coming here. If it's just for a quick coffee on the go or to sit down and enjoy a breakfast. It's always worth a visit. They make a great coffee! And their pancakes are definitely the best ones I've ever had. The staff are all very friendly and forthcoming. Every time I've been there, there have been some elderly who seemed a bit lonely. The staff always had a chat with them and took some time for them when it wasn't busy. The elderly were so happy when they left. Honestly I was really happy and surprised by this as not many places do that.
Also for students, you get a better deal when you show your student card.
B. L.Came here with my sister on Monday, breakfast was amazing and the berry smoothie was delicious! Nice and cosy atmosphere as well. Only downside was we were told it would be a 15 minute wait for the food but instead we had to wait 25 minutes. This wouldn't bother me normally but my sister had a bus to catch that day. All in all I had a good time and would definitely recommend this place!

The coffee is okay, but a bit bland. Italian, rather than lighter/fruitier/African. It's up to your personal preference.
F. D.AJs is a great place to get coffee or a bit of lunch. Very friendly and helpful staff. They make very tasty food and have exceptional veggie/vegan options. Really chilled atmosphere, clean, great decor, comfy sofas as well as tables. Fantastic for meetings or just to chill with friends or solo. You can also park nearby which is a plus. They sometimes have events in the evenings which range from karaoke to bands, open mic, poetry etc. They have a projector and brilliant sound and lighting equipment. I like it!
