K. B.Coffee Chain that started on Albany Road in Cardiff, their house blend to me is the best on the high street in terms of what would be classed as chain coffee shops. The staff are always friendly and the app is a really useful tool to collect points and also pay for your beverages without having to open another payment app.
The whitchurch branch has loads of seating and the outdoor area is a suntrap when the conditions are right.
Coffee #1 is always my go to for coffee (and the occasional cake) when I'm in Whitchurch.
V. M.Great coffee, healthy inventive menu, yummy cakes. I am addicted to the freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, I have never tried something wrong here. atmosphere is sweet. child friendly, lonely people friendly too, grab a book to read or crayons and see a few hours go by here. (possibly my favourite coffee shop in wales)
T. P.I’m delighted with this coffee shop! I am very please to find stunning quality of smoothies and vegan vegetarian dishes and drinks and lively coffees! Indeed number 1 ! Pleasant atmosphere and nice reading corners! Plenty of spaces available in or out! Free internet for 30 minutes upstairs and parking space around in the area. Very family with kids friendly! Recommend gladly!

j. h.one of the workers asked me and my friends to leave when 2 of us were trying to use the toilet whereas the others were clearly in the queue, unfortunately you have lost a customer (i am usually in here quite often too) i dont really expect this treatment when i go to a coffee shop which supposed to be relaxing and usually one of my happy places. this doesn't usually happen and often the workers are lovely just this one off time put me off :) id still recommend just please be cautious.
P. W.We visited on Sunday afternoon at 4 30pm. The Earl Grey tea was very refreshing, and the Latte was excellent. Friendly service, and a clean store.
S. G.My second time here, just pulled of motorway, heading to Barry. Great franchise with this shop having open windows or doors on front. Perfect for the Bank holiday. Just two coffees.
R. M. V.This is a nice little number with a calm atmosphere, nice conservatory and comfortable chairs with tables of different sizes for small and large groups.
Their sugar free vanilla latte of appreciated by me, a T2 diabetic. The bacon roll could do with more bacon for the roll considering the price but you don't expect bargains at places like this.
P. M.Coffee is decent for a chain coffee shop. They offer typical cakes and sandwiches / toasted panini's. Fine for a quick snack and drink . Breakfast menu with porridge and toast as well. I recommend the blueberry porridge with maple syrup.
Plenty of room to sit, outdoors and upstairs as well.

p. b.Best Coffee #1 I know. Manager very friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. In these hard times, adhered to all cov19 regulations and encouraged customers to do the same. (Even though some tried it on). Great food and superb coffee

M.Whilst the service is ok, always seem short staffed at busy times,so tables not cleared of dirty dishes and have had to clear them myself and tables not wiped or sanatised when staff do get round to clearing them,also who ever is in charge of ordering stock for weekends needs to check stock levels more closely as have been on a few weekends recently in the mornings and not late in the day and they have had no bread for toast, limited choice of sandwiches and no bacon or sausage baps , surely they realise they are busy at weekends so need to be prepared.

K. P.I had always enjoyed Coffee #1 before - they do a good coffee, and the staff are always friendly. However, now that I've tried the coconut hot chocolate, dark chocolate triangle, and the curried chickpea sandwich (which includes sultanas - good work, those guys) they have surpassed vague enjoyment to become Cardiff's Cafe Champion, in my very humble opinion.

A.As chain coffee shops go its not bad but you can expect to pay through the nose. For a small latte and a panini i paid £8.95 . For an extra £1 i could of had a steak pub lunch and a drink

O.Love coming to Coffee1 but really can parents not bring crying unruly offspring into the establishment sit by the window and ignore them destroying the layout or sit in a high chair screaming, while mum sits oblivious to it. Take the child home, calm it down or just sit somewhere out of ear shot. Really if you want peace sit upstairs. Liberal yummy mummys invading the establishment on good Friday is a joke. Keep your children noise level to a minimum please. We are all here to enjoy the coffee not to listen to your offspring.
