Gorgeous space and very warming. Fair pricing and excellent variety of products! Safe space and either a peaceful or vibrant atmosphere. There’s even live music occasionally!! Delicious food and drinks. Have been twice and will soon become a regular! Great for students!

What a find! We discovered this lovely, relaxed Turkish / Mediterranean-style cafe bar while in search of a pre-show supper before a visit to the nearby Sherman Theatre. We had absolutely delicious food (the mezze platter and a pizza) along with a glass of chilled Prosecco. The proprietor was very welcoming and we look forward to visiting again in the near future. Top marks and highly-recommended.

Amazing place to spend time - really good food (especially the breakfast), and great atmosphere. Very friendly, so relaxing - and the biggest treat of all, it's paw-friendly. Will become a new regular haunt for us.

Visited Cardiff from London and was looking for a cafe for breakfast.. Wasn't disappointed! I had the Turkish breakfast and it was the best I've ever had.. Beautifully presented and tasted perfect. The interior is classy and the owner is very friendly we had a great chat.. Thank you!

The staff is always lovely! Always pop in here for hot drinks and they have a good amount of dairy alternatives. Food is lovely when I've stopped in as well, wish their menu was clearer on the takeaway options for food but that's the only complaint I have!

Watching the city bustle whilst drinking a iced latte and eating a sausage sandwich, was certainly a good hangover cure! Took a girl here and was surprised by the quick service and friendly host, would be a 5 out of 5 if the prices were slightly lower but everyones got to make there money! Overall a lovely place to enjoy some quality breakfast food or study with a coffee.

We had fabulous lunch at Metchy’s. Phenomenal food, very tasty, hot, large portions great value . Warm atmosphere very friendly and helpful staff. The whole place spotless and a pleasure to visit and enjoy. Highly recommended and not to be missed.

Wrong guy to ask, I'm 72 and all I wanted was a straight forward cheese and onion sandwich not to be given a menu where the lack of colour contrast between background and print made it difficult to read. The food variety may attract a young student (well funded ?) generation wanting to look smart but I find The Time's crossword easier to understand. That said the cake and coffee were good, the service professional and polite but missing the personal touch.

Tried this place on New Year’s Day as I hadn’t noticed it before and was one of few places open. On first glance the cafe looked really nice and prices were reasonable too and staff were really nice. The cooked breakfast was the best I had eaten in a while and I eat a lot of breakfasts around Cardiff as I’m part of a breakfast club!! Would highly recommend if you like your food and coffee I will definitely be back soon!!

We shared the Hot and Cold sharing platter (between two) and would definitely recommend! The quality and quantity were amazing, let alone the great price for it all. Metch takes the time to speak to each customer and all the staff were lovely, which really goes a long way. We will be back (hopefully soon)

Good food mostly seems made on site, good prices though not super cheap with cofffe+tea etc. Good vegetarian options inc. Veg mousaka, unexpectedly. Range of stuff from paninis, wraps and rolls made to order, and some limited hot food, including English breakfast with veggie option, though haven't tried the hot food yet. Has seating inside, cosy but not cramped. New (ish) but good cafe. Quick service and take away options too.
