In here at 12:30 on a Thursday, not exactly the busiest Starbucks I've ever visited.

I had a decent experience in Starbucks had a strawberry iced tea and basically chatted with friends. The service was decent didn't have to wait to long in being served staff were friendly enough this was on a Sunday afternoon too .

Great branch of Starbucks, located at the top end of Queen Street opposite the Castle. Coffee is great here and staff are friendly. There’s loads of space inside and is a cosy place to pass some time or catch up with friends and family. Recommended and will visit again.

Went in there a couple times since I’ve been in Cardiff and just recently went in. Service was great and coffee didn’t take long to make. Any queue was dealt with efficiently. Was surprised that the upstairs was closed yet again, so me and my friend had to leave and find somewhere else to chat. Unsure why this is since the space would be great for socialising. Also was told abruptly at the till that it would be closing in an hour (we got there at 2pm on a Tuesday). Wish there had been an updated notice perhaps prior. Nevertheless, the drink was yum and it (luckily) was a sunny day so we could find somewhere else to sit :)

My wife and I visited Starbucks, Queen Street yesterday with our grandaughter who has just started at Cardiff University. We had a lovely time there. The store was celebrating 'International Coffee Day', and was offering free coffee tasting sessions. We were treated to a really interesting and informative presentation by Connor, one of the Coffee Masters, who not only prepared the filtered coffee but also taught us about the different coffee regions in the world, and the qualities of different types of beans. Thank you Connor and your colleagues for your excellent friendly service! We shall be back next time we visit! Oh, and the Latte and Iced Caramel Coffees were delicious!

Great spot for meeting people or waiting while shopping in Cardiff. All seats have a view of queen street so it's easy to keep an eye out for people your meeting or just do a spot of people watching to pass an hour or so. It offers the usual compliment of Starbucks menu would and easier to get into that the one in next.

The counter was a little dirt and the tables were not kept clean. This may be do the high volume of customers but it's not an excuse. Service was okay though. But many items were out of stock or simply not replenished.

The McDonald's of coffee shops. Nothing spectacular but at least you know what you're getting most of the time. In Spain they tend to use uht milk which taints the flavour of the coffee.

Being a barista myself I understand how tedious the job may feel, especially towards the days end, but I must say that this quite upset me. Would like to say a huge thank you to Staff & Manager today. My daughter who is Type 1 diabetic took insulin for a Caramel Frappuchino, unknown to us the queue was long & I began worrying that if she didn't have her drink soon she would have had a hypo. I approached the young man & explained the situation, he said he'd speak to the manager, we stayed in queue whilst he prepared her drink if I would stay & pay later, of course yes I agreed. The young man came out with her drink & said it was on them. Ever so grateful, can't thank you enough x
