First time popped into Cafe 21 today. My friend enjoyed his very generous size chicken hunter. I had cheese on toast, a little disappointed that I was not offered wholemeal/granary bread as not a fan of white bread. Very friendly table service

Went here on a Saturday at midday for a late breakfast. Couldn't fault this cafe at all. Was very busy and staff/service was still fast, polite and efficient. I had eggs Royal with avocado which was delicious. Lots of variety on the menu and prices are very reasonable. Tables outside were slightly small outside but the garden area overall is very nice. Will be coming back for breakfast soon!

Myself & a friend had lunch at Cafe 21 for the first time today, we loved the decor which made the place felt like it had ambience & having dining in the shaded outdoors too. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced our lunch was, good value for money. Staff friendly & attentive

Went here on a whim with a friend and I'm so glad we did! I'm not a breakfast person, but i had the poached egg with mushrooms and to say it was delicious is an understatement. The tea complemented it perfectly. Highly recommended!!

I have visited Cafe 21 twice in the past few months and have had a really lovely experience both times. The food is well cooked, of a good standard and excellent value for money. Very nice "homely" feel to the place'(very old of course)..l only had a soup and sarnie which was very.nice . Coriander soup and mushroom sarnie ..and tea...(No comment)..and my other neighbours had delicious egg omelette '..rather noisy too..lots of ladies having 'lunch'!! Tea too weak for me..but they do have a very good selection .so.plenty of hot cold drinks a available. Will definately be going back!..just be patient about the seating arrangements ! Lovely staff and quick service...

A hidden gem in the town centre. This cafe has a green outside garden/dining space. We have always sat in the garden but there is seating inside too. I had Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and bacon which was delicious and my husband chose an all day breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Absolutely loved my first visit to Cafe 21 in Trinity Street. I had a savoury waffle with smoked salmon and scrambled egg with a latte. The food was top quality and absolutely delicious; and the service was impeccable!! They even kept the cafe open for slightly longer as we were having such a lovely time and didn’t realise they were due to close. I will definitely visit again!! I can’t wait to sit out in the courtyard garden on a warm summer’s day.

Wow, where do I start? Went in for a light breakfast, and was blown away. I don't give really high praise often, but this place deserves it: The Cappuccino was amazing, and really tasted of high quality coffee; The Salmon and Scrambled Eggs on Savoury Waffles, where do I start... The Salmon was amazing... The Scrambled Eggs amazingly light and fluffy... The herby Savoury Waffles were incredible. With a little added salt and pepper, and brown sauce, and I had the breakfast from Heaven. Will definitely be coming back time and time again!

Have been here on 2 different occasions now and cannot fault a thing about it, both times I had 'the classic' a smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel served with a salad garnish and kettle crisps and it was absoloutly delicious both times, the staff are an absolout dream and are so accommodating and friendly, this time we were served by a lovely young man who was so poliet, the café itself is so cute and quirky and I cannot wait to go back again.
