Been going to the shoulder of mutton for the past year now, me and my partner love the food. It's a little location to sit on a sunny day and have a home made milkshake or iced coffee, or you need a break dog walking as they are dog friendly. Sophie makes amazing cakes and the food is delicious. We have also attended many events in the barn attached to the cafe. Our year wedding anniversary party due to covid delaying things and our grandparents birthday!

Being meaning to leave a review service was amazing just like food. Staff was very friendly and nothing was to much of a trouble food was nice a not we sat outside and we decided to take our puppy for a walk along the river and dogs are very welcome with a treat for them too. Thank you for a lovely experience we will return.

We went for the quiz night. We had a great evening, the food was yummy, the dessert was fab and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely go back for lunch in the garden.

Lovely tearoom by the river. Great for taking your dog for a walk and then stopping for a bite to eat. Great little antiques room adjacent to the tearoom if you want a browse. Food is awesome. My panini was the best I've had and the triple cooked chips to die for!! The sunday roast is really good too and really reasonable for the price. Staff are really lovely too. You won't be disappointed. Oh and the kinder bueno cookies are a must 😁

Amazing as always, everyone is so lovely and always helpful & welcoming.. we’ve became regulars these days, plus the food is outstanding! We had these southern fried chicken strips as a meal and they are a serious game changer not to mention the lovley cakes they have too!

We came to 'Meet Snow white' event on Monday. We really enjoyed it. My daughter had a great time. Sophie and her team are amazing, so is the food and location. We will be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful morning.

Good was excellent, I recommend the trice cooked chips, they were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. With no space inside we sat in a pod by the river. Service was quick even tho they were very busy. We will book next time.

Lovely little coffee shop with its timber frame. It is not overcrowded with tables. The staff comes to your table to take your order. Next door to the coffee shop there is a little antique shop which I recommend you go and have a look . I definitely recommend this coffee ☕ shop 😋

Old pub converted to a cafe and collectibles centre. Went for lunch. Friendly staff, varied menu and quick service. Quite reasonable prices too. Mind your head if you're over 5 feet 9 inches!

Went for wreath making evening. Came with a meal and food was disappointing. Had the brie and cranberry tart which seemed over cooked as the texture wasn't as I'd hoped. Had to ask for our free "welcome drink" as it seemed to be forgotten and some people didn't get theirs at all. The wreath making element was good though.

I never like to complain generally I don't, the restaurant was cozy obviously popular but our roast pots were hard The beef very chewy but rest of meal ok..my wife's chicken was fine.we herd those around us commenting on the hard uncooked pots .the antiques centre was interesting..and all staff very pleasant

Wonderful setting by the river with countryside behind. Coffee and cake was great. The antique centre is full of a variety of interesting and decently priced items and the staff are helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back again

Lovely location, lovely staff. We ordered a few things, milkshakes being 2 of them, that were said to be made from icecream however they didn't taste like it. More like the shakes that are made from syrup(Also a large amount of the syrup unmixed at the bottom) Very artificial tasting. They where also served lukewarm which was off putting. However the staff were lovely, smiley and helpful. We are going to give it another go maybe next month. We went there for drinks and a snack x

Great place to stop and eat. Plenty of outside space and a great place to go if you have your dog with you as the river runs right next to the pub and they can play swim in the river whilst you enjoy a great pint of beer or sandwich.

Converted lovely old pub, where now half is a tearooms and cafe, and the other half is now an antiques and house curios type shop. We'll worth the visit. Plenty of free parking too

Called in at the shoulder of Mutton for breakfast remembering that they now do breakfasts. Unfortunatly we were twenty minutes too late but the staff were fantastic and said not to worry we will do you a breakfast. Well all we can say is it was the best breakfast we have ever eaten cooked to perfection. We will def be calling back, the pub is now bright and clean and the other menus sound great. Thanks again.
