Indoor and outdoor space. Lot of table. Good service and fast. Comfortable price.

Overall a very nice cafe. The size of shop is quite large however you wouldn't be able to tell from looking outside. The coffee was great but maybe a little small for price. Other than that the staff were very friendly, the coffee was great, the cafe was clean, the food was good and the was plenty of seating inside and out.

I visit here around once a fortnight and it's always a lovely experience. Staff members are really nice, there is lots of choices for Vegetarians, including toasties, wraps, yoghurts, pastries, cakes. They are all marked if they are Vegetarian and Vegan which is great. So many options of drinks, cold and hot, bottled, takeaway cups or drink it in. My favourite is the Hot Chocolate with Cream on, always consistent everytime I order it. Tables are always clean. They have toilets which have always been clean. A lot of seating inside and outside.

Nice staff and great drinks, everything with coffee is very strong so make sure you like coffee or get something without any of it. Only reason for 4 stars is the toilets are gross. Tiniest little hole with a door that opens inwards, hardly enough room for you to squeeze in past the open door and then you're met with just a gross little toilet room. But everything outside the toilets is great

I regularly come here to get some work done during the week (unlimited free wifi!), and I always have a very pleasant experience. The staff are friendly and always ask how I am, and the cafe is generally kept clean and tidy. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that the tables are sometimes not wiped down as well as they could be, but otherwise this is an excellent place to relax with friends or get some work done!

Very supportive staff of a stressed mother of two looking for a quiet comfortable spot to breastfeed her little girl. Didn't feel at all uncomfortable when I fed my baby girl, couldn't find a changing room or table in the toilets but saw a third toilet where I would hope that there would be the facility to change. A brilliant little café, keeps up the Nero tradition of good coffee, great ambience, and brilliant service. I usually get a cortado with shortbread when I go there, and it's by far my favourite espresso-based drink in the city. Brilliant job!

Pleasant coffee shop in centre of city. Went to do some work whilst killing time late Sunday afternoon,when not much non alcoholic choice nearby. Still had a fair choice of snacks left including a decent toasted teacake!

Lovely place im visiting this place at least once a week. Staff is always ready to help you ! Good prices , they got a lot sweet things free water and client card for free 9th drink ! Recommend to go and drink a nice coffee ! Am also they offer a free wi fi! So you can bring your laptop and do your own things and at same time drink a cup of coffee. Enjoy!

I have reviewed Caffe Nero in Hanley before now. I've found it to be superior in comparison to the Derby coffee shop. Any version of anything outside of Hanley, that is also in Hanley, should be better. What made it worse one might ask? The frontage was festooned with litter, the tables had not been wiped clean and there were dirty cups and trays dotted around. I understand that clearing tables is challenging for 'modern workers' (A nice way to describe wage slaves that don't work as hard as they could because there is little reward in doing a job well)... Anyway, another problem with the Derby Caffe Nero outlet is the some of the customers themselves, though there is little that can be done when people who dress, in a way that suggests the objective is to look grubby, encroach upon your premises and decide that sitting outside the front of the coffee shop is the best place for them. Some individuals may find it useful to reflect on this before leaving home in the morning - or afternoon as was probably the case with those who infected my eyes. Yes, I seem harsh, but I wouldn't want any such unfortunates to sit in the back of the coffee shop as if there is some sort of socio-economic apartheid system in place - like in London.

I very much value my REGULAR visits to this cafe: the excellent soya porridge, the friendliness of the staff team, and the choice of seating. The major drawback is the toilets, which are inaequate for the number of visitors and lack a reliable hot water supply.

Great little place in the centre of derby. No parking but plenty nearby. This venue is on the walk from the Intu to the marketplace and irongate area and has outdoor seating. Always friendly and courteous team and consistently good drinks. Plenty of seating inside and popular with students and local workers too

What lovely staff at Caffe Nero Derby. I came in with my young baby who happened to be having a particularly spectacular meltdown. I sat down to feed her and within a couple of minutes a member of staff came over and offered me a glass of water. I explained that I would shortly order when the baby had calmed down. The kind lady offered to bring my order over and I could pay when I was ready. This small kindness made a huge difference to my day. Thank you!!
