A traditional North Indian breakfast consisting of parathas and chana masala is always great and the picture is really supportive of that I guess. However, this was my second time and I must say the parathas were better the last time. They were still great though maybe a little bit of more ghee (this doesn't qualify as a 'healthy' breakfast anyway). Still a recommended place, no doubt!!!

We came on a Sunday lunchtime. We were a big group and the service was amazing. No problem to answer our many questions or deal with our various dietary requirements. Asama was super friendly and great. We had a really good time, it was all brilliant.

Nice place to go for a desi breakfast. Had the aloo paratha, halva puri and karak chai. One recommendation I would give - as the desi food is oily, providing wet wipes to wash away the grease from your hands would be very useful.

Saturday morning, called in for a desi breakfast. Uncharacteristically slow and chaotic service today. They just need some more staff to help them keep on top of the orders. Long delays, incorrect orders, stressed staff doing their best. I felt really sorry for them. The food was nice as usual , but the owners need to invest in having more staff. It is a popular place. But people won’t keep coming back if the delays are as long as this! 17 June 2022 - update. Called in for a desi breakfast.. Things have changed! Two lovely girls on the counter, very jolly and lots of smiles! Really quick service. Good food as usual. The omelette had a nice add of pepper which seems new. Karak Chaii excellent as usual. Nice music. But for me, the main difference was that the two staff seemed so happy and friendly. It made for a lovely breakfast. Definitely a change for the better. Well done! (I hope you can keep those staff working for you!)

Hi went here and had a chicken keema roll, with masala chips and a masala tea. The keema roll was not very large and was over £3 but wasn't very filling I thought. The masala chips was a larger portion and better but we're slightly under cooked when served but the masala sauce was very nice. The masala tea was amazing and great. I think the breakfast meals are better value but would still come again but may order something different to the keema roll. There are no toilets at this location and you use the facilities next door. Staff were ok and you have to clear your own tables after eating.

Visited today for the first time and LOVED it. Asma was incredibly friendly, polite and made the whole experience even better. The chai was fantastic, best chai I've had in a long time, the samosas were fresh and tasty! I've definitely become a regular now!!!! Well done guys!!!👏🏻❤️

One of my favourite place for all day breakfast, spicy tea and snacks. Excellent quick service by Raabiah and Saleha. Very well cooked Omelet with minimum oil by Manpreet & Kiran. Feels like back home all time when I come to this place. Keep it up!!!

Perfect little chaiwalas and I've been to many. Located on a busy street and parking is difficult but don't let that put you off. Great food and great service and even some board games to play whilst you wait for your food!

Quite busy on a Saturday afternoon, but that is to be expected. There is plenty of seating and also a few tables outside (if the weather permits). I brought a Karak Chaii and a butter chicken roti wrap. The tea was very good, piping hot and the taste reminds you of being in Pakistan/ India. Only downside is the tea is served in a paper cup even though i dined in. A china cup would have made the experience much better. The butter chicken wrap was small, but still very tasty. The roti (chapatti) was light and wasn't too filling. Definately will be returning.

Chaiiwala, in my opinion, is a definite place for nostalgia if you hail from the either India or Pakistan. For me the Karak Chai is well done and has the flavours that brings a smile to my face. The food is good too. It could do a bit better on the speed of service, and why not introduce some vintage music (Purane Gane). It will hit home with some older family member who would just love the thought of home through your outlet. Keep up the good work.

Okay guys I have had a VVIP service by Chaiwala. I ordered on justeat but by mistake I had a wrong order, called them and the Manager SOPHIE sort me out very quickly nicely and professionally. She apologies to me ask for my order number and prepared again fresly and delivered to Me by herself in no time. She offered me compensation as well for example cold or hot drink but I refuse to take. 05 star for SOPHIE there team and her best customer services. Keep it up guys.

I went to get Desi Breakfast for my friend and myself, I met Sohaila on the counter. She was so wonderful. I think because of her so cool & pure early morning interaction my entire day went so cool and sweet. Sometimes, just a smile, just just little talk can make your whole day different & thanks to her - it went wonderful. Chaiwala Derby is very welcoming and too good. I went here with my parents for the first time and I was so happy with my experience. The staff are extremely nice and friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and it was very clean which is the main thing that attracts me when I'm eating out. If you haven't been to any of these chains it's definitely worth a visit. Get a tea and choose one of the cakes. We really liked the gulabjamun cake - the flavour was balanced perfectly. Not too sweet.

Chai is very good. Desi breakfast also very good. Parathas are very much the frozen quality but this is essentially a fast food chain - so it works. There are some gimmicky cakes and sandwiches with desi twist but worth a try for something different. Overall recommended to try and make up your mind if it is for you.
