Friendly café that specialises in hearty, basic home cooking. Don't expect a wide array of starters but if you're looking for 1500 calories of full English with toast and plenty of tea then you're in the right place.

Lovely little cafe with cheap breakie and friendly staff. Didn't really look at the rest of the menu seeing we came for breakfast but breakfast was nice and hot, served quick too would highly recommend.

Sound place to go classic greasy spoon which is not a slur far from it, we don't all want avocado and fizz for breakfast but a fresh cooked substantial meal to set you up for the day, I'll be back

Here's an excellent cafe, well situated on the main Nottingham Road in Chaddesden. It's very convenient to pop in to for a coffee, snack or meal when you're in that busy shopping area. As the cafe is open until 2pm on Saturdays, anyone that's going to see Derby County can be well fed & watered here before roaring on the Rams! You can find street parking nearby and walk via The Crescent / Meadow Lane area to the stadium over the Chaddesden footbridge. The staff are friendly and the food is good - it's a fairly standard menu at reasonable prices, so I recommend a visit.
