Absolutely fantastic food, and their customer service is excellent. I visit this cafe properly once a month always enjoy the mega breakfast. Today 7 of the family went in for a birthday breakfast for my wife and when we finished our meal the staff came out singing happy birthday to my wife with a slice of cake compl8with birthday candle. Thank you so much wayfarer cafe you made today a little bit more special for my wife.

Me and one of my friends were going to Wayfarer Cafe for breakfast for a couple of weeks and to be honest, I never saw any of the staff members look sad or be disappointed with something. They always greeted us with a smile, amazing atmosphere and the best service. Food here is really great. Every morning I ate either Big Breakfast, which was totally enough for me, or ham and cheese omlette. Last day there I tried the Club Sandwich, which was more than enough for me. It's quite a big one. It was easy to replace whatever was in the deal with something I liked more. Everybody working there were really forthcoming. Would recommend Wayfarer Cafe to everybody.

Great food served by lovely owners. A real local place. Consistently voted as one of the best cafe's in Derby. Daily specials as well as the regular menu with plenty of choice. Card and cash both accepted, and they also serve vegetarian options for those inclined.

Have visited a couple of times when I've been in the area with work. Nice place, cleans and tidy with very friendly staff. Food menu is the usual selection you'd expect from a cafe like this. Sandwiches, burgers, etc. What I really like is their specials. I had the most amazing lamb shank on my last visit. Was really nice and not what I was expecting to have for lunch. Recommended! I'll certainly be back

Awesome customer service and even better food. Very warm atmosphere. I used to work near by on night shift and at the every shift i could count for a great meal. The whole crew there is so lovely i had trouble to leave that place still do to be honest but unfortunately i cannot visit there that often due to new work place. Does cracking breakfasts. Been there twice in last few months. They do breakfasts 7am until 2pm. Had a super full "fry up" brunch both times and me and my colleagues were suitably impressed each time. We sat down and ate. A lovely corner café feel. I think it has new owners. The food and service is excellent. I had not been for a while as it wasn't so good a few years ago. My lunch breakfast was around £5.50 but that was with everything.. 3 nice sausages, lots of bacon, black pudding, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, baked beans, loads of toast (could have had bread and butter instead), 2 fried eggs (runny and perfect), extra hash brown (50p). I think that was it! Proper bottles of sauce too. I would recommend it also for a business brunch for sure (that will be my next trip there) as plenty of quiet tables. Food arrived quickly, steaming hot on a warm plate with tea/coffee included in the price. They do takeaway breakfast stuff and sarnies too of course. Give it a try!

The staff are great plus the menu's are varied to everyone's taste and different requirements i.e. gluten free ingredients and alligies and they have a large seating area with a large number of staff to accommodate the constant flow of customers so no long waiting for your food and easy payment to of cash, card and phone. They even do outside catering to.

Wayfarer came as life saver when it comes to food for me. I am a Indian and I was looking for options which can give me taste of Indian food near by my workplace. This was the nearest around me and I found it after a month of my visit to Derby. On my visit I was sure that I'm getting something else on name of "Homemade vegetarian rcurry, rice +naan". I got bread like naan.. that's true and just two small pieces of it and some curry which looks like it was made with all the leftover vegetables they had that day, but... Taste was nothing like Indian food but was something similar to it. Curry was sweet even after adding alot and lots of salt to it. Water there was smelling like it was taken from any fish tank or an aquarium. But still I got something similar to food I was looking/expecting for so I would give 3.
