Good sized play area and frames for toddlers and children 👧🧒 up to the age of around 12. When it's really busy it's a bit overwhelming and seating 💺can be a pain, but generally through the winter ❄️ it's pretty relaxed and less busy. We are YWP members so in essence our trip to the monkey play area is included in our membership. We had some fries 🍟a coffee ☕ and some chicken nuggets 🍗 from the food bar. All food was ok, but use your membership discount to get 10% off (still a bit pricey 🤑) There's toilets 🚻 within, disabled toilets same area and baby changes in both the ladies and gents. All in all it's a good place to let the kids let off some steam and have a few minutes to yourself 🙌 Please click the like button ✅👍🤩

To be honest I didn't buy anything but used there outdoor picnic table. As it was a very hot day I was looking for a table covered as I had a 1,5 year old baby with me. Unfortunately there were only 2 tables who had cover. As the park is very open there aren't much picnic tables or areas with cover and I feel we as visitors with little children need this especially when it's lunch or dinner time. I had to take her home as it was too hot. A shame as I love the park and she did. So just a 3 star but that's for not enough tables with cover on hot days.

Very good indoor play area within the zoo grounds lots to play on slides etc. Very big play area. Toilets etc available.

Really good play area, it looks small from the outside but it's actually quite large once you get in, the kids loved it. We didn't have any food as we had packup, I did check the prices and they were quite expensive, also they didn't do any bottles or canned drinks.

A small seating area for café patrons, always at or near capacity so be ready to stand for a while. Swings, slides, rope bridges and last time I checked, a small rock climbing area, moving across rather than up so is safer for little ones. A bit of a trek to get there, past at least 2 other playgrounds in YWP. Included in the ticket price for the play. Double doors so wheelchair and mobility scooter access. Always busy and fun for children x..

Food good nice burgers. Limited on choice. Long queues. Long wait. Service quite slow. Very very noisy lots of pushing while queuing.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit. Children loves seeing all the animals and also a play at the play gym. A great day out and well worth it

It's all been redone since we were last there. Its free once you have paid for the YWP tickets so its a must for the kids to break up the day. Plenty for them, and parents to do. Have a cafe onsite too so you can grab drinks/food

Fabulous day out at Yorkshire Wildlife Centre, all the animals had everything they wanted. Very large enclosures, everywhere very clean and plenty of toilets and hand washing facilities. Top marks 😀
