Today we went for Afternoon Tea, first time we had visited and book it off a review that said the food was lovely. Well it was lovely you get your own stand with an assortment of sandwiches and sweets on it. We had to bring some of the sweets home with us as was so full. Staff and service lovely to. We stayed over 2 hours just chatting didn't realise the time the atmosphere is so nice. Beautiful little tearoom will definitely be visiting again.

This is the best place to get Afternoon Tea in Doncaster! All cakes are baked on site. They even cater for Gluten Free diets. This is the freshest gluten free afternoon tea ive eaten with the most choice too. The Afternoon Teas even come with a prawn cocktail starter and a trifle! Absolutely fantastic!! The customer service is brilliant and the value for money is fantastic! Cannot recommend this place enough!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Went here this morning for the first time with my friend. I had a full cooked breakfast, my friend had quiche and salad. And a pot of tea between us. Absolutely gorgeous. And a good price too. Fantastic coffee shop with both comfy seats for just a relaxing coffee or a slightly more formal dining area for something more substantial. Varied menu with a great choice of well prepared food served by very friendly staff a must visit venue!

This is a lovely pleasant place to have a cake and coffee. Very pleasant surroundings. Tea served in china and lots of it. Walnut and cheese scones beautiful, delicious and quite large!! Victoria sponge beautiful and again such a large piece! All served by very pleasant staff. We will certainly call again. BUT, what a shame they don't allow well behaved dogs into the cafe. When I asked about this a fleeting look of horror crossed over the lady's face. Why do cafe owners here in the north think it's not acceptable to allow dogs. In the Midlands lots of places allow dogs. The rules covering dogs in eateries are no dogs in food PREPERATION areas so it's ok for dogs to be where food is just being eaten. The Kennel Club has lots of info. on this subject as they are promoting businesses to allow dogs onto their premises. This tea shop is not far from quarry park and I'm sure would get lots of custom from dog walkers if they allowed dogs. On saying all this the cafe owners have, though, provided outside seating and a dog water bowl so they are catering to some extent to we dog lovers. On the whole this tea shop goes to the top if my list for tea shops in this area. Oh, and not too expensive!!

I am a regular visitor to Sarah-Janes. I’ve had afternoon tea which was tasty, flavoursome, plentiful and excellent value for money. I’ve also nipped in for a quick cuppa and one of Sarah-Janes speciality scones (biggest scones I’ve ever seen and a huge range from plain to walnut and date, to chocolate orange...and more) I also enjoy my lunch dates there (the homemade quiche is to die for). There are always plenty of homemade cakes to choose from all of which are delicious however I highly recommend the salted caramel cheesecake. There’s a choice of sitting in comfort in the coffee lounge or there is also a dining area with tables and chairs. A 5 star Traditional style tearooms with classy decor and fine china. Sarah-Jane and her husband are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. They also offer a take out service which is great for when I can’t decide which piece of cake to have as I take a selection home with me.
