Fantastic Cafe! Stopped on our journey south on the A1(M) looking for a quick bite and our expectations were exceeded. Had an incredible sandwich, a lovely cake and a much needed coffee. The staff could not have been more friendly. We will definitely return on our next road trip this way.

Genuinely the nicest cafe I've ever been to. Jamie and all the other staff are brilliant, the food is always lovely and atmosphere is friendly. The food, both quality and quantity far outweigh the price, I've been to cafes in the same area where you can pay twice the price for half the food with half the quality. My only criticism is that I wish it was open every day!. Keep up the good work everyone! Oh and Rebel said thanks for the sausage!

Well what can I say I've been wanting to try a breakfast here for ages seems as it's on my door step and all these reviews raving about the food, So yesterday I tried the Large Breakfast which consists of double everything!! And boy was I not disappointed I can honestly say I am a bit of a food critic but this was one of my best breakfasts I've had in a very long time I couldn't fault it in any way, everything was cooked to perfection... The atmosphere was buzzing staff was friendly what a pleasant experience. All for just £7.95 This will not be the last time they see me in there.

Great food, reasonably priced, decent portion size with friendly staff that can’t do enough to help you. Got the feeling that if anything was wrong (which it wasn’t) that the staff would do everything in their power to right it.

I attended an event today and the catering was done by Sharon at The Arkle. The food was amazing, very fresh, well presented and everything labelled. There was a great choice of vegan foods too. The sausage rolls and quiche were lovely.

Terrific cafe. Sharon and the rest of the team are all so warm and friendly. You walk in to be met by a plethora of homemade pies, sausage rolls, cakes, scones and more! Do a lovely full English and recently had a pie barm which was absolutely scrumptious. Highly recommend The Arkle even if you just go in to buy a pie or a quiche to have at home!

So lucky to have this place on my doorstep. It does fantastic breakfasts & sandwiches plus lots of other lovely food for every meal time. Plus it has the best deli takeaway counter with out of this world scones & awesome sausage rolls/quiche. These are just a few of our favourites but they do lots of delicious stuff. Highly recommended. Treat yourselves 😋
