We visited Sunday morning and it was very busy. Lot of bicycle visitors stopped for a brunch. Breakfast was really delicious, staff very welcome and nice and cosy environment.

Overall, an amazing experience! The staff were all very welcoming and courteous. The coffee was an experience itself and the food, wow! I had the Hungry Butchers breakfast which lived up to it's name and was perfect. Even the bread was 5 star. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone and will be returning very soon! Thank you.

I went here for a little time to myself in the hope of a lovely breakfast in good surroundings and thats exactly what i got. I was welcomed and sat straight away. Also my order was taken swiftly and arrived after 5 to 10 minutes. I chose to have the apprentice breakfast which included, 1 sausage,1 bacon,mushrooms,beans tomatoes and 2 slices of toast and a fresh orange juice. It was lovely and for the price was definitely worth it! Sorry no pictures.

this has become my go to cafe for full english breakfast which is just about spot on. im very particular and imho i really couldnt make the brekkie better myself. the ambiance is excellent and staff chatty and friendly and attentive. its a hidden gem for sure

Called in on recommendation this morning and was not disappointed ! Great, friendly staff made you feel very welcome as we walked !The breakfast, well it was the best full English I’d had in a long time , we both immediately agreed on that ! Visited today with my brother and sister in law. We had a lovely lunch. This is a little gem of a cafe. Their cakes are delicious also the waitress was lovely ad very friendly. We have booked for lunch next week. Thank you to the cafe we will keep returning.

Our first visit here. Great coffee & pleasant staff. Seating area is good,comfortable& not too close together. The settees (occupied on our visit) look comfortable & are well arranged. The menu looked enticing,although we'd only called for coffee. Breakfast selection impressive. Only negative was the strong smell of cooking the said breakfasts which sadly transferred to our clothing & is not a good "takeaway" into the car!

A little disappointed. What promised to be a terrific place let itself down for a number of reasons. Firstly, my order took 45mins to arrive, once arrived I had the smallest burger, a flattened sausage on a tomato and lettuce over toasted brioche bun. Expensive for the portion size The cutlery was dirty. Yes, sometimes these things happen and I never received a serviette. I had to chase down my order to be told the were busy, and it's on its way. If there was to be a delay I would have hoped I'd be told so. Staff on their phone whilst serving tut tut! On the positive side, a really lovely place, staff friendly and both the chips and coffee I had were great!

Called here today for the first time and had a coffee, jam and cream scone, and a slice of lemon cake, absolutely gorgeous! The place, the lovely Claire and Louise, and of course the cake! Will definitely return with prosecco for a lunch date. Places like this are a welcome find.

We drive through Fishlake regularly and have been meaning to call in for a coffee or lunch but never seem to have time. However we went specially today for a light lunch and must say it was our first time but certainly won't be our last. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and everything from presentation surroundings and very pleasant staff was excellent. We will definitely be back.
