Lovely bright eatery. Staff very helpful, lots of variety, choice of food & drinks. Good seating areas for groups, families, couples, solo or with a friend, comfy chairs. Enjoyed my brunch.

Really do enjoy the food here, the wife and I just popped in for a light lunch. Service was slower coming than normal for our coffees, weirdly because there was plenty staff. But my main review is this, we all wear a mask inside when moving around. We disinfected our hands when we came in, but watching the goings on inside, I noticed that, when a table was finished with, the staff were quite quick to clear the cups and plates. But not one table was then disinfected before the next customer sat down. My wife being who she is, took out our own antibacterial wipes and cleaned the table while I ordered. Other than this, the food is and was very good. And the chef has put me in to try the loaded fries with chicken goujon and bbq sauce etal. Would I eat here again? Hell yes, but please clean the tables and common touch areas.

Discovered it only two weeks ago thought it would be super expensive so avoided it since it opened but we loved it so much we have been back twice with our newborn in tow! We've had hot lunches for two, shrimp sandwich and waffle bacon stack with large chia latte and coffee and paid just under £20 and the portions are huge, tasty and fresh. Went back to try their cake and it was the best cafe cake we've had. Definitely recommend the place to anyone

There are good food options but most aren't my thing, can recommend the pancakes though! Staff are mostly kind and attentive, but sometimes don't explicitly explain how their service works (pay for a canned drink and then go pick it out the fridge yourself). The place itself looks lovely, good seating options and plug sockets to charge devices on tables with booths, it only loses a star for the noise. Its certainly a family friendly place but that can lead to screaming children Nd pairing that with the music and clinking of plates can make it overstimulating quickly. Overall, its alright, good for a short trip and food comes out quick!

Ordered the dirty dog and supplemented sweet potato fires, with a vanilla chai for a drink. Food was served fresh and fast. Good tasty meal. Loads on the menu to try. Great looking pastry case too. Chai was good. Ran out of cutlery when we ordered, cutlery was still not stocked fully by the time we left (20 minutes). The cafe was very busy and staff were doing really well to serve customers quickly and clear tables. Would say Bob and Bert's ordering process could be a bit confusing if it's your first time visiting, but the staff are all friendly and approachable should you need assistance.

Standard cafe. Lots of seating and very busy when we arrived. Good range of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Friendly customer service, but after we placed our order, and food and drinks arrived, we had to ask for serviettes as none had been brought to the table. We did look around before asking to see if we were supposed to grab them ourselves. Due to Covid rules, both entry doors were open, but this did make it rather cold to our table that was near the entrance.

Kids chicken goujouns were brick hard, my 4 year and 6 year old grandsons couldn't bite into them they were so hard. I have to break the coating off which left 2 tiny little bits of chicken, not worth the money. I hade pancakes with berries which was nice enough but maybe some Berry juice or something with them would have been nice as the pancakes were dry even with the cream on the side. Husband enjoyed his waffle sandwich.

Very novel place! Its has that unrefined, unfinished look to it on the inside which is cool. Huge selection of cakes and sandwiches. The coffee was great too! I visited here with my bf several weeks ago. The atmosphere was attractive and cosy, and it was a lovely place. However we were slightly disappointed at the service, it was quite noisy when we were giving over our orders and we ended up not getting exactly the things we ordered, it was slightly off. However the food we did get was pretty nice. The menu has quite a big variety of things and looked pretty interesting.

Decor isn't the greatest but that's about the only complaint I can offer. Food is slightly pricey but you get a lot for what you pay. Not a tea or coffee drinker but the smoothies are fantastic, more like a melted sorbet drink than your average smoothie. Menu is very varied, with the breakfast menu being my favourite. Sausages are a bit on the lower quality side but everything else is great. Staff all seem happy and friendly, they've accommodated all dish changes I've requested without a peep. Toilets are very clean, all unisex cubicles.

Visting Dunfermline from Northern Ireland for a few days just came into it today must say my fry was lovely was even better when you had soda bread and potatoe bread only thing you need now is Northern Irish tatyo with bread and butter and your flying lol. A nice addition to the coffee shops in dunfermline, Bob and Bert's is a place with a wonderful aesthetic, which counters the usual moods of coffee shops and restaurants wonderfully by replacing a usually calm mood with a busy, building site type feeling, which it does very well. All the shops cakes are absolutely delicious, and although some might say they're a little pricey I'd argue that the price is absolutely worth it for what you get. The house blend served here is absolutely amazing, and comes in a massive cup, honestly it's a real bargain considering how much you coffee you get for only £2.25, and the milkshakes and smoothies are great too

great place to go for lunch. very reasonably priced and the portion size is really good. I had a hotdog and chips and didn't expect much but it wasnt a normal hotdog it was handmade proper meat sausage and I'm not sure if they were hand cut or not but the chips were really tastey especially the sweet potatoes fries. the thing that surprised me the most was the selection of gluten free meals. I highly recommend this place for anyone with an IBD or Celiac. will definitely be back as they have something for everyone and its very tastey

We’ve been twice. First time for gluten free breakfast (there are plenty of options) & coffee. We got scrambled eggs and bacon on gf toast, and then eggs benedict on gf toast. The eggs benedict was ok. Second time was for coffee (it’s soo good with soya milk) and we ended up getting a cake too. It was cornflake and peanut butter traybake. V good.
