Lovely cafe, very friendly staff, homemade soup was delicious and served the best coffee and hot chocolate we’ve had for ages. So pleased to see a community cafe busy with locals but I can see why, a definite go to when we’re back in the area

Lovely, kind staff. The café makes their own soups and cakes. If we would've lived closer by we would come way more often to try all the cakes as it was hard to pick now. I can certainly recommend the lentil soup, vanilla cheesecake and the caramel brownie.

Was the last customer of the day and facing a long walk home. Despite being close to closing they served me a near perfect americano and the most delicious piece of cake . Every time I go out kayaking at Tayport simply must stop at the Cafe. Great service, good coffee and snacks (hot & cold) - I will be back for more! :)

First time visit. Recommended by family member. First thing to know is that this is a community run cafe. They are all volunteers and proceeds to go back into the local community. Great idea. They have a vegan friendly menu and lots of nice hot rolls and chicken of sandwiches, soup, toasties etc. There is also a good choice of cakes for after. Staff were so nice and friendly. They had a large take away order so warned us we would have a 15 minutes wait which I appreciated them telling us. Prices were reasonable. I would certainly go back.

Called here again first time since pandemic started, not disappointed. Just as lovely as before, food really good took out a cake and scone (as always) for a cuppa when we get home. If you haven't been here yet then go, you won't find a better cafe locally well worth a visit.

The shop itself is well appointed, with views straight out of the marina. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. Their food is good quality and reasonably priced, with very quick serving time. They do a lovely range of teas and coffees, and allow you to sit in our take away. And if you're a tourist, then there is an interactive local information board inside which may help you to plan your next stop while you have your coffee :) A very pleasant place to lunch

Took shelter here one early afternoon whilst doin a stretch of the Fife Coastal Path. Scrambled egg on toast and a welcome mug of coffee, warmed the cockles. Before heading back out into the inclement weather. A friendly welcoming atmosphere on entering, with attentive staff who were sympathetic of my chilly state. Well and truly warmed up and welcomed.

The Harbour Cafe is a small but friendly community cafe with a stunning view of the harbour. As it is mostly staffed by lovely volunteers it makes the perfect place to find out about Tayport's history, local walks and what else there is to see and do. The food is simple but delicious and there is always a wide range of home made cakes! Pictures by local artists are displayed monthly and are available to purchase. I highly reccomend this cafe for it's friendly atmosphere and fantastic food.
