Recently went with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious. The afternoon tea's are excellent and they even adjusted the stand to avoid my allergies. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff.

Entrance to a lovely shop with mirrors, photo frames, cushions etc all beautiful and reasonably priced. Upstairs to the cake shop mmmm mmm!!! Through to a nice room for afternoon tea. We got a two tiered cake stand EACH. On the bottom savouries included good selection of sandwiches, good wedge of corned beef pie and quiche mmmmm mmm!!!
Top deck ooooooh 🍓 tart, peach Melba, scone with jam and cream and ginger cake. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. All for 13.95. Staff are very friendly and helpful Highly recommend this to anyone. It used to be Lloyds bank and you can still see the two safes x

Lovely friendly coffee shop with fab cakes and breakfasts. We also bought a ploughman's platter to take home for later see pic. Looks delish. Spotlessly clean and our dogs were made very welcome. Gift shop downstairs.

Fantastic customer service.... my partner and I had afternoon tea...... OMG wat can I say but.... FABULOUS.... even had to ask for a box to bring the rest home....
Talk about stuffed...
Staff are fantastic .... I would have given 5 stars but the only downside is the fact the tea rooms are up stairs.. not at all good for disabled people or people with breathing problems like myself that find it hard to manage stairs....
Would have been better to have tea room down stairs to make things easier.... the gift shop could have been up stairs .....
But apart from that I will deffo be back for more yum yum.....

A jewel in Sacriston's crown, most of the customers view strangers as friends they just haven't met yet. There are more larger tables (6+) than tables for 2, so I have had many interesting conversations over lunch with folk I would not have talked to otherwise.
The food is plentiful and tasty and I really like the coffee they serve. There was a time when I was here every week. During that time I felt I was amongst good people and have enjoyed going back when I can.
