Popped I'm for a bit if lunch after visiting the sunflowers at East Grange Farm. Cafe was busy and an hours wait for hot food. We plumped for a slice of mince pie and cake with a cuppa.

Food delicious. Don't think dishwasher working properly as cutlery not v clean. However when I told staff that reacted very quickly to resolve situation. loads of interesting things in shop.

Staff were friendly and food was ok. There was quite a long wait because of how busy it was. Food was hot although the Welsh rarebit toast was slightly overdone. Good selection of food and drinks. Tables are very close together and it did feel a little cramped

After miles of roadworks trying to get past Newcastle, we needed something to cheer us up. So happy we decided to stop here. Brambles has a lovely menu and a fantastic selecting of cakes/ baking. We opted for the ploughman's salad and the chicken caesar salad. Ten or of ten for them both. The ploughman's would have received 11 or if 10 if there had been a pickled onion with it, but that's only because I love them. One to remember for future visits

This is my 3rd visit to Brambles it was a very rainy day so was surprised it was so busy, which speaks volumes. We did wait a while for our order but expected due to the amount of visitors. As previous visits it was worth the wait. Lovely environment, gorgeous food and friendly staff. Will definitely keep returning.

1 member of staff came across as quite abrupt when I was ordering coffee asked for hot milk for my americano gave me cold which she did exchange but came across as too much trouble no apologies. What happened to please/ thank you ?? I also asked for pot of hot water but she was too quick to go to the next customer but the guy taking food orders & payment gave me the water. He was smiley & pleasant. Previous visits staff have been lovely.

Beautiful garden centre with a fabulous coffee shop. The menu is quite extensive and their scones are delicious. Dog friendly which is great if you want to call in after a nice walk.

Went in to check it out before booking a room for buffet after funeral. We were met by Laura one of the managers, she was very friendly and professional and assured us that there would be enough staff to look after us on the day.

The cafe area is extensive and very pleasant. Is was a really warm busy day when I was there and yet the place was lovely and cool. On ordering we were advised that it might take upto 30minutes for our meals as they were so busy, however we waited less than 10 minutes. The meal was wholesome and not skimpy. It was beautifully presented and it all looked freshly prepared. We all emptied our plates.!! As there are several areas of seating it would be easy enough to find suitable space for a wheelchair. One area has comfy armchairs. I liked this place, would recommend a visit, I will go again.

This was a pleasant surprise. Visited for the very first time for a baby shower. A very well presented garden centre with a good sized restaurant. The afternoon tea was quite good and staff were pleasant and helpful. Did not check out the menu but observed others eating a wide range of food. So, look online to see if a menu is available. Certainly worth a visit though.

Lovely little coffee shop in the middle of a stunning garden centre. I had a gardeners delight afternoon tea which is served on a miniature picnic table (so cute). Luckily I booked the day before as the prices had changed from £11.95 to £14.95 on the day we visited so only payed the lower price as the new price is a bit steep. We got to choose what sandwiches we wanted but rest was set in stone, sandwiches were great along with the tropical smoothies served in Wellington glasses but the rest was mediocre.

Walked to Brambles coffee shop, waited in the queue for a table did the NHS App,everything you had to do, we where shown to a table no 43, given the menu to look at told she would be back in a few minutes, to take our order, we sat there waiting 15 mins, the table next to us finished there coffee and left the table was cleaned and new customers seated, they where told that she would be back in a few minutes to take order, no one came to our table after still waiting the lady came a took the order from two couples that came in at least 15 mins after us, at this stage we had enough a left.

We had vouchers for afternoon tea,given to us as a Xmas present, they expired June this year,messaged them weeks ago explaining we were shielding,not a problem,messaged the other day asking if we could collect the tea to bring home as we didn't feel confident enough to sit in, again not a problem, it was all delicious well done to you all x

Lovely cafe, quite popular. Nice seating outside, great after a nice stroll along the Wear with the dogs. Not the cheapest, but still worth a go!

I used delivery service because of pandemic ,just as garden centres opened V ery pleased with quality of plants and the delivery man very kindly put them all in my garden so I could get on putting them in garden,observing social distancing at all times

Already booked Poplar Tree Florist for wedding flowers for August 2010. Church flowers, marquee flowers and table centre pieces. Floral archways for the church and marquee reception and bouquets, coursages and artificial pre-lit topiary for inside the marquee.
