Lovely little cafe with delicious brunch offerings, which are slightly different from the usual fare. I went for the open sausage sandwich with cream cheese, slaw and crispy onions. Looked like the healthiest sausage sandwich I have ever had and it certainly hit the spot. If in the Abbey Hill vicinity give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Also v. Good value for money. Enjoy.

Lovely little cafe and gift shop. Good selection of fresh cakes and delicious coffee. Definitely a place I am looking forward to going back to and I’ve heard that the breakfast are great. Well worth a visit. Tables are well spaced out inside and follow COVID guidelines.

Lovely place to visit for a coffee and cake. Lunchtime is good too - soups and light bites. I also loved the little shop area within the cafe. Great choice of stationery and other bits and pieces.

Love this cafe. The people working here are very friendly and their coffee and foods are very nice quality. I had the best tasting gluten free cake here. I also enjoyed the art and jewelry pieces made by local artists throughout the cafe. The prices are very reasonable.

29th, August 2019 A return visit with a warm wonderful sunny welcome. Last time here all trains in Scotland was cancelled, it was wet, cold and l felt drained, but being here gave me a bit of comfort and shelter. A well needed cooked breakfast after a serious night out in Edinburgh, due to catch train, loved my second visit, the owners are so welcoming and friendly, definitely would recommend the breakfast. Ps.. Has ♿ disabled access and toilet. ________________________________ What a savour, managed to get out of the rain, what a fabulous little creative gem. I loved the decor, the art and the much needed welcome. A treat of Earl Grey tea and flap jack, helped to thaw out my wet cold bones. I would have like to have spent more time browsing through the art, some fantastic things on display. What a relaxing environment. (next time when l am in Edinburgh, definitely on my list.)

What a wonderful find on a rainy Edinburgh day!! Great quality food and homemade sweet treats - very fresh and thoughtful touches, delicious coffee at good prices. (They do not, to your benefit, own a microwave.) Also they have some very lovely curated vintage pieces and small but substantial art selection at reasonable prices. If you’re in the area and are looking for good food and curio to the sound of some chill background tunes don’t pass it up.

Updating to three stars based on response from business. Still believe it's unreasonable to prevent customers using a laptop if they choose to while having a coffee. Original review: My girlfriend visited today and after ordering a large coffee and sitting down was told she couldn't even look at her laptop while she had her drink. She explained she wasn't planning to stay for a long time but wanted to work while she had a coffee, but was still refused. Then another customer arrived and started to use a tablet without any complaints. Seems unreasonable and very poor service.

Great café just a few minutes away from Holyrood Palace with tasty choices for breakfast and lunch. It's a lovely bright place with a relaxed atmosphere and it's perfect for having a bite to eat, warm up with a mug of coffee or to get some work done away from the office.

Been coming for years and always find a great lunch and friendly staff. Interesting freshly prepared tasty dishes and coffees. Earl grey tea in a pot is a delight and the cakes- wonderful.

Art and Vintage is a favourite and regular place for us to visit. So happy to see on our recent visit, apart from Covid rules being adhered to, things are mostly the same. Food was so delicious, freshly made, including coffee and chocolate pistachio extra 😁 New art work always adds that extra touch of interest. My lunch companion discovered a vintage original book of drawings and is over the moon with the purchase. The Staff helpful as always. Highly recommend Art and Vintage 👍😊

Lovely café with regular art exhibitions and a vintage shop. The menu has bags of choice and the food is always freshly made. As well as being a great place for breakfast and lunch (or even a cheeky slice of delicious home baking),they run regular dinner evenings where they spread their culinary wings with a wonderful array of themed menus. Definitely worth checking out If you're passing or making the journey if you're not.

Very friendly little cafe with a sideline in home-made jewellery and other small artefacts. The black pudding rolls (two thick slices) are divine! All at reasonable prices too. Highly recommended!

Never disappoints, the food is really good and there is always something interesting on the menu, nice portions and great flavour combinations. The place itself has a lovely feel - bright and airy and beautifully curated with cute vintage pieces for sale as well as art from local artists. Staff and service is friendly, prompt and helpful.

The stack of pancakes were really dense and eggy! Probably the first time ever that I couldn't even try to force myself to try and eat more than one bite. Other than that it was good service and a nice cute place to just hang out in.

My favourite place to go for a morning hot drink. A tasty selection of home baking and healthy lunch options like their chicken salad which is my favourite. You can also browse the antiques and art nouveau while waiting for your cappuccino!

It is located in a quiet neighborhood, not far from where we stayed. It also act as an art store, selling a lot of nice art pieces. Food and coffee was amazing. Ambiances is perfect for a Sunday morning brunch.

(Translated) Very nice place, well lit, adequate space between tables, very nice decoration. It has several pictures. Very rich coffee, I would definitely go back for coffee. We ordered some pancakes, they were not as fluffy as I like, but very adequate, with banana, maple syrup and coconut. We also ordered a very good croissant 🥐 too. I would go back for the coffee. (Original) Muy lindo lugar, bien iluminado, espacio adecuado entre mesas, muy lindo decorado. Tiene varios cuadros. El café muy rico, definitivamente volvería por el café. Pedimos unos pancakes, no estaban tan esponjosos como me gustan, pero muy adecuados, con plátano, maple syrup y coconut. Además pedimos un croissant 🥐 muy bueno también. Volvería por el café.
