Artisan Coffee is a small cafe where quality is the focus! The coffee done professionaly by a barista. SUPERB. and the breakfast: simple but done with love! We ha an avocadotoast and some salmone. Great quality. Fresh, delicous, salad on the side, tasty dressing with humus and a slice of lemon!. Best in town!!! I recomand this place highly! Thanks for the nice service.

Had a espresso and a Viennese. The Viennese was nice, light and crumbly and a generous size for price. The espresso was disappointingly poor, overly bitter with a faint taste of tobacco that wasn't pleasant to drink. Unfortunate, but may be just unlucky.

Very nice oat milk cappuccino and a 9 out of 10 hot chocolate (no cream or marshmallows so a nine is pretty darned high). Also a selection of cakes and baked items. Nice attention to detail and the tables outside look very inviting if only it was warm.

Welcoming place to be in on a rainy morning. There are seats outside with shelter from the trees when not so wet. Good coffee excellent gateau and an hour blethering in comfort with room for all. Nice to be inside today. Plenty of space. Great food and friendly staff. Tram works are off for Xmas so nice and quiet too!

Had takeaway coffee (not that there's a choice rn). It was really tasty, they had a good range of non-dairy options (oat, almond and coconut if I remember correctly, I had coconut) and the coffee was very good. This is my favourite coffee joint because the staff and owner are all so friendly and welcoming. In addition to the usual third-wave coffee fare, they serve Turkish coffee and a latte cake (it’s like a custard slice crossed with tiramisu) which I particularly like.

It’s a cute wee place for breakfast. Lovely food Hearty serving size. Friendly staff. Great on a nice sunny day. Ordered egg and toast and it was a full plate with spinach, feta cheese ,tomatoes ,mushrooms, jam , honey and butter with seeded bread!!! We shared it to finish !!Highly recommended.

My daily routine consists of visiting Artisan and is my absolute favourite cafe in Leith. Great food, coffee and the friendliest staff.

Excellent croissants, interesting tasty fresh sandwiches etc, very pleasant surroundings. Sofas as well as tables and chairs. Good loos including a disabled loo with good access and a baby changing mat. I've lunched there a couple of times and will definitely go back again!

Artisan is a place to enjoy a delicious coffee for sit in or take away. They have seating along the windows so you can do some people watching while you drink your cappuccino, or there's also a few more seats in the back. They offer wifi and have fresh pastries that I haven't tried yet. Very kind and friendly staff who will welcome you.

Holidaying for 4 weeks in Edinburgh and lucky enough to find this coffee establishment. Service and coffee unsurpassed. On fine cool days have enjoyed sitting outside with knee rug (provided) and on others the cosy and inviting seating inside. The coffee is the best! For travellers the WiFi is greatly appreciated too.

Really great coffee and cake/food selection. Great atmosphere with friendly staff! Only drawback is the poor toilet facilities which could do with a bit DIY and there is no current changing families for babies.

Visited this unique cafe on Monday, it was the most welcoming, cosy cafe. I’ve ever been too! The Vegetrain breakfast is insane and tasty, and my partner got the avacado toast and eaten the lot, he loved it, would highly recommend this cafe it’s very cheap for what you get also, there’s no place like it in Edinburgh, and the staff are amazing. Will be back!
