N.Got a Mocha cake for my mums birthday. I was worried as a lot of bakeries ive been to in the past have nicely decorated cakes, but the cake itself isnt good or is dry. Not the case at Bad Tempered Baker! The cake was moist, the icing the right amount of sweetness and coffee flavour. The price was really reasonable and was glad they had the option for a small 6 inch cake as we aren't a big family. It looked pretty with a chocolate drip and a message on top.
Also, their coffee is lovely and Ive had a brownie from there before as well which is equally nice. Perfect all around! Thanks so much
S. B.Fantastic wee find, great food and nice staff... girl that served me (Pink lookalike) now knows David Byrne was born in Dumbarton 😀 .. soup was excellent..... Soup, Pannini to sit in ..7 quid...fine by me... drop in, you wont be disappointed....
E.We tried two of the slices and they were delicious! Good sized portions and lots of caramel on the caramel shortbread! They also had a couple of gluten free options & the one we tried was very yummy. Great, friendly service, can't wait to come back again 😊
D.Dropped on this place by accident after a long walk back from Edinburgh to Leith, and we’re so glad we did. Ciabatta roll with tuna and salad; possibly the best tuna sarnie I have actually ever had. Quality ingredients and perfect tuna:mayo ratio. The vegan cookies were amazing. Will be back next time we are in Leith.

M. J.Being using this coffee shop for a few years now, passed by accident today and just had to join the covid lockdown queue just for a box of their broccoli, feta and chickpea salad. And Ristretto, so nice to get coffee at my preferred strength, the beans they use give pleasant character.

M. S.Lovely home made food hot and cold. Every time I go in I find several things that look great and taste it too. Be careful, the coffee you go in for could easily lead to breakfast and lunch as well. Have been in a couple of times and even when what I wanted hadn't been made yet they would go out of their way to offer it anyway. Especially like the chilli chicken cheese panini. Excellent, skilled and friendly staff too, don't let the name suggest otherwise.

I think it is a small shop but worth a visit. I didn't think I could eat such a fluffy lemon pound cake at a low price. If you have a machine, I want to go again! !

小さいお店ですけど行く価値があるお店と思います。安いのにこんなにふわふわしたレモンポンドケーキが食べられるとは思わなかったんです。機械があれば、また行きたいです！！
