Delicious, fresh, friendly - Did I say delicious yet? We’re visiting from the US and popped into Comb for a quick bite as we’re staying down the street. Such a warm and welcome vibe with the seating and fabulous music! The owner’s brother waited on us - very friendly and responsive. Now for the food and drinks: The cappuccinos and latte were delicious! We had the scrambled egg toast (add smoked salmon, please), the avocado toast (why yes, smoked salmon on the side would be perfect!), and the pancakes with maple syrup. Yum. Yum. Yum. From start to finish, a great meal and overall experience!!

Comb is my absolute favorite neighborhood cafe to spend my days off at with a good book. I love chatting with the sweet staff while enjoying the most picture perfect cappuccinos and the fluffiest pancakes. Every menu item is so fresh and the atmosphere is lovely. I couldn’t recommend more!

A very warm and lovely place where you can enjoy great taste. The place is perfect, whether you’re looking for a spot where you can catch-up with friends over good food or get some work done. We’ve had the Shakshuka, Mediterranean plate and Turkish delight tea. They offer a selection of cakes that looks nice and tempting, but we couldn’t try any of these this time.

We have been here several times and not once let down. The food is amazing, and the staff are so welcoming you feel like you are entering some friends place. Recommend this place to anyone who enjoys tasty food. Oh, and do try the coconut bowls they are divine!

My favourite cafe in Edinburgh! Such a beautifully decorated interior with a warm and friendly environment. Very relaxed and welcoming thanks to their wonderful staff! The menu is absolutely perfect and I’ve never been anything less than perfectly fine happy with what I’ve ordered. The bread in particular is to die for! This is the kind of place where even small details are considered - like a lovely sun design in cocoa powder on the top of a coffee - making every visit a treat!

Comb is easily my favourite cafè in Edinburgh. Lovely atmosphere, amazing food and drinks, big portions, very friendly staff. I go there everytime I want to treat myself and have a relaxing breakfast/brunch. If you go, make sure you try their pancakes: the best I ever tried!

Possibly the best breakfast in Edinburgh! The Mediterranean breakfast is just amazing as well as their coffee (+the food and drinks are so nicely presented). As a local I can't really see a reason to go anywhere else around Tollcross!

First visit ever with a long lost friend. Last meeting was 1 week before Covid lockdown. Two years is a long catch up! Lovely decor, nice coffee and cake. Felt very guilty as we spent about 4 hours talking, and taking up space!! Owners very friendly and welcoming. It's not in my area but I would love to return as the food looked amazingly good.
