First time to have brunch here. The Chai latte tastes really good. And brilliant full Scottish breakfast is one of the best in Edinburgh.

Great food and plenty of it! Probably one of the best values in Edinburgh for breakfast. Cute little cafe, good service. I had the Eggs Benedict made with thick grain toast and streaky bacon. My husband had the Full Scottish. He could barely finish and that man can eat! I highly recommend Café Elmrow!

Went there on a Wednesday morning. Not crowded. Really friendly people who helped bringing our buggy upstairs and arranged a spot for us as a family. Breakfast wishes fulfilled, very tasty! Cappuccino and tea were lovely. Decent price taking in consideration the location. Would recommend and come back!

Had one of the best coffees here. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is friendly, nice, pleasant.. Good music to enjoy your coffee upstairs. We came back for breakfast the next morning before heading back home. Will definitely come back when in Edinburgh. Tried the handmade cheesecake brownies and were amazing.

The English breakfast is a must everywhere I go, and this place didn’t let me down. It has some good choices in the menu, both food and hot beverages. If you’re looking for a tasty brunch nearby, this café is for you.

I was running early for a hairdresser appointment and decided to treat myself with a wee coffee. I picked up a soya vanilla latte from Cafe Elmore and it was the nicest coffee I’ve had in a long, long time. I got a square sausage roll as well which was lovely and crisp and fresh. Top place - probably easy to miss on the street, so keep an eye out for!

A truly excellent full breakfast and super friendly staff. You can even exchange bits you don't want for what you do. The sausages and bacon were absolutely divine and the rest were superb!

Popped by this cafe as it's down the road from the Courtyard Marriott - where I spent the weekend. Our group tried the chicken pesto sandwich, veggie & meat burrito, & the croque monsieur. The burritos were well enjoyable, the chicken pesto was decent, but unfortunately my partner said the croque monsieur was terrible (I didn't have any). The service was prompt & friendly, & there were a couple tables for outdoor seating. Seemed a decent spot for a quick breakfast.

Staff are so friendly, welcoming & accommodating. Im now a regular but I buy the same thing so cant really comment on all the other options available but I can highly recommend their square sausage rolls & caramel lattès 😍 and very reasonably priced. Lovely wee place

It was a nice place for a very late Sunday brunch. It's a nice, unpretentious place with interesting decorations but a table so wobbly it spilled coffee from my cup. Service was nice but a little clumsy, we had to source menus and cutlery from another table since ours didn't have either. The food was really good and I really enjoyed it, and though the Scottish breakfast was missing the link sausage advertised on the menu, it was still more than filling. All in all, I will definitely return soon since it's a lovely local place for breakfast.

Yummy breakfast! We stayed at Marriott Courtyard and this is a very shirt walk from there, just across the street. They have about 4 or 5 tables inside, and some outside. The gentleman who waited on us was friendly and the food was excellent. I had the three egg omelette with ham and tomatoes. And it was really good. Decaf cappuccino was very good as well. We had been going to another place across the street for our breakfast, and really glad to find this one, as it is much better and less expensive. I highly recommend for breakfast and coffee.

Fantastic waitress and coffee. Good food (not great but good) if they would improve the sausages quality in the breakfast and make nicer menu they would be great. Quite cheap compared with other places. They have fantastic homemade bagels 🥯 with real poached egg made in the hot water pot ❤️( not from microwave like most places in Edinburgh). Best Eggs Benedict I've ever had! Not usually one for reviews but I thought this deserved one! Not much to say other than it was delicious and good sized portion. Good value for very filling. Great start to the day, would definitely come again I visit Edinburgh again. Coffee was great too.

Best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time! The vegetarian breakfast was the perfect size and included the perfect amount of each item. The pancakes were delicious and filling. The food was a bit slow but well worth the wait. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. If I lived closer I would be a regular!

This is one of those "can't go wrong" places where everything on the menu is good, tasty and plentiful. Flavoursome wraps, breakfasts, soups and cakes. Excellent coffee, too. (Even the decaf, which has a very pleasant "nutty" flavour). When we're all allowed to sit-in again, take time to have a look how well Serkan has installed a very modern mezzanine in a 200-year-old building without ruining the character of the place. Great for breakfast, lunch or just coffee & nibbles. It's reasonably priced too, considering its location in the Playhouse Quarter of Edinburgh.

I really liked this cafe. Stumbled upon it while browsing around. We had baguettes and it was probably the nicest baguette I've ever had. The ingredients and the bread were so fresh and tasty! The staff were nice and polite and it wasn't over priced. I would definitely recommend this cafe and I would definitely eat here again.
