It's great to go to an independent cafe. The owner looked after my 2 dogs and I splendidly. We had a comfy dry seat outside, wonderful coffee and great sandwich with salad

Went here as a random stop for a coffee on the way back to our hotel, its a very small place so you probably have to fight for a seat but they genuinely do one of the best coffees I've had in scotland (and I've had quite a few!!). I did compliment them and they sad it was italian beans that they use. The coffee was very smooth and creamy as apposed to the usual bitter, burnt coffee alot of places do. I had a cappuccino and the milk wasn't over frothy either which again is a usual mistake in the UK. It has quite a cool vibe, almost art student-y. Would 100% recommend to go for a coffee (didn't try the food), ypu pay a normal.al price for for really nice coffee and the guys at the bar were pretty friendly , so all round a good experience! Only not doing 5* as I didn't try the food :)

Great food, great service - really friendly and unpretentious - have been meaning to pop in for ages and very glad we did. Sure to become a Saturday tradition. Had the breakfast wrap today and it was so, so good and generous size, too!

Live locally and been to cafe Gallo for food on a number of occasions now. My partner and I have tried lots of the wraps l and rolls and they are brilliant everytime. We struggle to pick our favourite as they have all been so good.

Service is super quick, the blonde girl that served me was lovely (also excellent style, her fit was gorgeous) Coffee both regular and decaf is really nice. Empire biscuits are great. Would recommend and go again.

They need to have a special 6th star option for this place. Great independent coffee shop with nothing but home baking and sublime inventive wraps. Ice cream in the summer. Great friendly staff....there's a good reason why you'll be hard pressed to get a seat👍🤤

The best veggie paninis we’ve ever had, freshly made and stuffed with goodness, mind blowing! You can also swap ingredients to your liking which is great. The coffee was lovely. Staff super friendly. Made our day, will definitely be back!

Outstanding selection of wraps, each an explosion of fabulous flavours. Only a few tables inside so go early unless you want to take one of these masterpieces away with you. Excellent selection of leaf teas too make for a great lunch stop.

Love this place. Great Wraps/sandwiches packed with the tasty. A real substantial lunch. Service with a smile, and if you're lucky, a cheeky wink. Would recommend all day long.

Really nice selection of sandwich options (designed by the cafe) with names like The New Yorker. Good sized portions, NY'er came with a handful of tortilla chips and a side of coleslaw. A sandwich and flat white, sit in £7.70. A decent price by today's standards and for the quality of the food. Appears to be a family business, good, friendly service.

Compact little cafe located in the heart of Stockbridge serving good quality hot drinks and freshly prepared food. Would not describe the sandwiches/rolls etc as cheap but can say without doubt they are generously portioned and made with good quality ingredients. Take away available also. Definitely worth another visit.

My favorite cafe in Edinburgh. The food is always fantastic and at affordable prices. Love their sandwich combinations and have never had a bad bowl of soup. Only seats 10 people inside and four outside, but takeaway is available.

Absolutely *incredible* wraps for £6 sit in or £4.50 to go. Flat whites for £2.20. Such friendly service and a really welcoming vibe. Try the chicken satay wrap or the vegan! Super cosy and also dog friendly.
