Indeed a lovely and peaceful place with delicious chocolate cakes. The coffee was yum as well, very rich and aromatic (good break from all the pret and Starbucks). The layout of the place is cute. Had a toilet. offers student discount as well!! ❄️❄️

This is such an adorable little vegan friendly Café. I had the lavender latte and it was tasty, reminded me a little of horlicks (but lavender) There is a good amount of seating considering the size of the place, lots of natural light and cute artistic pictures the walls by young artists. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back here next time we're in the area.

LPC is like a magnet, once you enter it's hard to leave, all thanks to the loveliest owner Hana, the staff and the amazing coffee and food they serve. Many vegan options - granola bowls, cakes, waffles, pancakes, you name it. Very cozy decor and you always leave with a smile on your face.

Yum! After 4 years of being vegan, I finally had a vegan waffle, and it was so incredibly delicious! Topped with berries, vegan cream and biscoff spread, I am so glad we came here. The lady working there was also so incredibly friendly, helpful and chatty.

Great if your vegan/want need alternative dietary options, but pretty expensive for quite a a basic experience. Almost £4 for a mocha made with powder and not real choc. Similar (ish) vibe to the sadly lost Forest cafe at tollcross, but Forest was super cheap and I always loved that they used real choc in their hot drinks.

The second I stepped into the cafe I felt comfortable Hanna always has an open ear for the students, the coffee cakes & waffles are fantastic The staff is very friendly and helpful too I was asked just outside by an older chap to leave a bad review and get a free coffee at his cafe ( I assume it’s his ) After I spoke to friends I was told that he’s been doing that for a while , I don’t even know what to say other than avoid & ignore him

Absolutely fantastic cafe. We had breakfast here and had pancakes that were both vegan and gluten free, and delicious. There were many gf options. Lovely people serving, cafe itself had great style and was v comfortable. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous spot. Amazing waffles. Even more amazing service. Hana (who owns the shop) gave us the warmest, friendliest welcome. There was a steady stream of students coming in and she seemed to know each of them by name 😍 We had both the plain and matcha tea waffles and they are unique & delicious. The dough has clearly been aged which gives them a richness of flavour. You can choose from an impressive array of toppings. Stumbled across this gem and will definitely be back

The owner Hana is so nice! The loveliest lady who gives the cafe such an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The drinks and food is also LOVELY and far cheaper than I expected considering how nice they are. 1000% recommend for students as a place to study too - you never feel pressurized to leave or buy more if you want to sit in and study for a while.

Love, Peace and Coffee now has waffles. Not regular old cafe waffles, but waffles that sit perfectly between crispy and soft, light and filling, sweet and fruity. The coffee, of course, is excellent too and with a range of milks to accommodate for dietary requirements, this is one of Edinburgh's finest small business cafes. Certainly my favourite. Incidentally, everything is sourced ethically, locally and prepared safely with track and trace on paper and automatically with the WiFi. If you've not been, you should try it out.
