Cute café. The staff was really nice. As soon as I sat down they came to bring me some water. Very attentive. I tried a blue flower earl gray, which was good, and the scone was big and tasty, too! It's a great place to go for coffee after and/or before going to the Gallery. I thought the prices on the menu were a bit high for what they were offering, but the quality might have been good, I don't know.

Lovely cozy place with good tea/ coffee. People sit and spend a bit of time chatting / reading.

The menu is quite different from the website - so just be careful; there isnt a menu outside either. Giving it a neutral review just for that! And you would have to go throigh the ground floor of the gallery

(Translated) Fruitmarket is an art gallery next to Edinburgh train station. We had just arrived and we liked the place, which has a cafeteria on the ground floor where they serve some light meals, such as sandwiches, salads and omelettes, and breakfasts from 10 to 12, so as it was the time we took advantage of it, and not We had something else to order than some toast with olive oil and tomato, a tea and a cappuccino. Very good, very quiet and cozy place, good service and good sourdough bread. The bill, 12.30 pounds (just under € 15) for two people, what breakfasts usually cost in the UK.
