My top 3 brunch cafe in Edinburgh. When I have to go BS early, I usually visit here and have a excellent branch menus. Potatoes menus are absolutely amazing. I strongly recommend.

Great coffee friendly staff food is good. Go visit. I have been 9times so far. Look after local business in your area.

Great coffee, good herbal teas and friendly staff. Would get that extra star if there were more vegan food options.

Spacious place to meet and chat. Tried a peppermint tea, tomato soup and brownies (a bit expensive imo). If you have a skinny bottom, the chair might not be your favorite. :)

Tasty food, similar to Kilimanjaro and I believe they have the same owner? Also they have these really nice marble tabletops that make for fantastic #basic food pictures.

I have never been here before but a friend suggested to visit this coffee shop near the beautiful Meadows park. It was nothing to regret about it! As I don't drink coffee (anymore) I went with their Jasmine tea specialty. From the second the waitress served the tea I knew, it will be a delight to spend time with this delicate serving. The smell of the tea was perfect, I allowed it for a few minutes to brew, the total duration I was able to keep the cup around was about 2 hours. Gave me a light iovest buzz, perfect for a good conversation.
My friend, she had a latte and a croissant as her late brekkie. Nothing wrong with that, in my opinion. Since I already ate, I had to say no to the pastry she offered me to taste, however, now I wish I would've said yes. Just by the look of it, I already knew it was a mistake rejecting the offer. Now that I'm stuck with this review, I feel the real weight of making the wrong decision that day. Well, the croissant is just one thing, this friendly gem itself is worth a revisit for sure. The latte looked perfect, so next time, I will try to introduce the place to someone else. Press Coffee, bravo.

This cafe is not always crowded which makes me love it. It has yellow wall which can boost creativity and makes people happy. It also has seats beside a huge window so we can people-watching while drinking coffee. The coffee is quite good, and I recommended their fruit Scones with clotted cream and jam, it's super tasty! However, the music they play is not really suitable to complement the calmness in the cafe. But it's good and their toilets are okay.

Delicious coffee and the yellow split pea & bacon soup was so good. Lovely bright windows in such a beautiful part of town.

'Lovely decor, great coffee and food, and warm, friendly service. Definitely want to go back!'

Average coffee, no WiFi, not very cozy environment. Staff friendly though.

Excellent coffee, lovely interior, friendly staff

The coffee in here is really lovely. I came back because of the distinct taste. Although, I’m told it’s a seasonal coffee blend that changes every so often. But I’m intrigued now so will likely keep visiting. Had the Brie, Cranberry and Bacon panini and it was superb. Quaint and quiet little place. Nice.

very cosy atmosphere, coffee was good and it’s close to the university!

A real gem. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and came with marmalade which was an unexpected bonus.

This cafe is a bit hidden from the main road but it's pretty close to the university so it's a good spot to grab your morning coffee or go for a break from the library. They do excellent flat white and cappuccinos and have a bit slightly more sitting space than other cafes of this type.

Brilliant coffee and breakfast menu, and it the whole place has a very nice vibe going for it. The staff are very friendly and happy to offer suggestions, and they have nice cookies/cakes on offer.

Great coffee, greater breakfast
I have had coffee from this little shop before and was content with the experience, however the poached eggs served on the delicious gruyere and potato fritters and the finishing blow of the beetroot chutney have made my day.

A pretty stock standard coffee place as far as I can tell. High windows and ceilings give it a sense of having lots of space, but in Edinburgh it also means it tends to be cold. More reason for hot drinks i suppose!
S. M.
Lovely bright interiors with clean minimal decor and high ceilings. The coffee beans are great and the milk is perfectly textured.

Very friendly atmosphere. Felt quite relaxed there. Great coffee and my god you got to try the scones. No pic because I ate it all.

Such a good coffee but feeling like people don't know this place! :)

A quick pitstop to caffeine up, escape the drizzle and kill some minutes before a BBC show. Nice spot that's convenient for George Square and avoids the crowds. Coffee strong. Service quick. No complaints.

Definitely worth a trip or a taxi if you're visiting. One of my favorite coffee stops in Edinburgh. The coffee is on point with what I'd expect from an artisan shop.

This is a really good coffee shop, with decent lunch (mainly soups) options. It's a busy place with excellent coffee, often excellent service, and close to the University, Meadows etc. Strongly recommended.

(Translated) I stop by almost every day on the way to school to eat.
Coffee and desserts (brownies, scones, etc.) are really good. I think the taste is most similar to the coffee I had in Korea. Especially, iced coffee with plenty of ice is so delicious. The coffee has a stronger acidity than the body, but it is well-balanced and not overpowering. However, other than desserts, dishes are not to my taste.
