Very cute cafe, just off the royal mile. My flat white was delicious. Beware if you come anywhere near closing: I got a nasty looking from the barista for asking for a mug half hour before they closed, and she stopped allowing anyone to sit in with 15 minutes left.

This was a lovely place for an afternoon stop. We had cake, coffee and smoothies which were all great! Staff are friendly and a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely little spot. Quieter than the hustle & bustle of The Royal Mile. Delicious coffee and hot chocolate and the food looked great too.

Drawn to the venue by sign stating ‘lip smacking hot chocolate’ staff at location was friendly and served a really good hot chocolate with a slice of red velvet cake. Drink was good along with cake would highly recommend!

The man who runs this coffee shop makes all his own food and takes pride in his work. Husband has struggled to find good coffee in Edinburgh, but this place delivered. We had two vegetable soups served with homemade bread, and the owner said we could have more bread for free. The soup was delicious. I also had a red velvet cake which was lovely. The owner is a lovely guy and I wish him all the best in these testing times for the hospitality industry.

This little coffee cafe is an absolute gem! Looking for a chill place just off the Royal Mile? A delightful shop with a really wonderful Barista who creates the most gorgeous espresso art I've ever seen! My fav coffee place in Edinburgh. Get a snack- the Spanikopita is delicious and beautifully presented. 10/10! Good coffee, good vibes.

Procaffeination is a great place. Well laid out, totally covid compliant, with nice displays of foods including filled baguettes, spanakopita, cakes and scones. The super-friendly owner simply can't do enough for you. He has a sound knowledge of the area and is happy to impart same. We had hot filled rolls, scones, hot chocolate and coffee. All very nice and at a good price, particularly for that part of Edinbugh.
I will be back.

Lovely quaint coffee shop with very friendly staff. The coffee hit the spot but the ciabatta left me wanting more.
Overall: Good!

Cute little coffee shop with a small selection of sandwiches and pastries. Nice environment and friendly staff. Also dog-friendly.
