I usually don't like small places, however in this place I felt like it was relaxing, lovely and homy environment.
Extra good quality coffee.
The donuts were freshly backed and just as I like it 'Homemade type of bakeries'. Tried the creme brulee and raspberry chocolate which were the best available that day. I will definitely try again each time I visit Edinburgh.
S. A.Quite cozy cafe tucked in one of the Waverly arches. It has an interesting feel, mixing modern lights and decor with the historical feel of the arches which dated 1875.
They offer strong coffee (available in decaf too) and delicious stuffed donuts.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
E. V.Such an amazing place!! An absolute must go in Edinburgh, whether you're interested in speciality coffee or the best donuts ever. Seriously the best I've ever had. So many flavours and vegan options too! Interior is beautiful as well. Everything just spot on.
N. A.We were lucky to get in just before the Saturday rush so we had a lot of choice of seating and the staff was very friendly and had a nice chat. Many vegan options (I’d highly recommend the bean toast) it was very delicious! A little pricey but considering the setting and the central area I am not surprised. Delicious for brunch and nice atmosphere.

N. S.Hell of a recommendation from friends. Great coffee, great food. Doughnuts… even if not a sweet tooth you should try - carrot cake or mince pie. Serve Kiss the Hippo coffee, one of the best.

J. J.Came here to try the donuts and they are good, but not mind-glowingly good as some comments would suggest. The fillings aren't too sweet or dense (positive for me) but some flavours were a tad bland. I also wasn't a fan of the large sugar granules on the outside of the donut. I probably won't buy them again as they are £3 a pop and I didn't massively enjoy them.
Inside of the cafe looks nice, although you may find difficulty getting a table. And the staff are very nice. I'm sure the coffee is also great.

It's quite a small shop with limited seating but if you manage to sit outside you have a great view of Carlton hill!
