Deliciousss brunch spot. Eggs, Avocado + Bacon on Sourdough bread. This venue had a chilled, laid-back vibe, and the people who work here were absolutely lovely. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh! They also had a nice selection of cakes which contribute towards a donation for Ukraine!

A favourite place for breakfast, what’s great about it is the consistency of quality and flavour. Some weeks I go into the same place and whether it’s the chef or the ingredients, the quality of the same dish can be different every week, which is annoying. Seven is always guaranteed great on both fronts. Plus, while located in Edinburgh it’s not charging Edinburgh prices, 3 coffees, two breakfasts, which includes a smoothie, a portion of sourdough toast and jam, and avocado, egg, toast and a side salad, £19. My only quibble is the temperature. It’s pretty Baltic in there, one plug in heater just doesn’t cut it. So wear a warm jumper or cardigan or prepare to keep your hat and jacket on.

Lovely little cafe, the staff is super friendly and it has a great vibe for a casual brunch. Seven serves a good cup of coffee and the avo on toast we had was absolutely brilliant, the avos were just right and the bread was so good!

Love this cafe! Staff are really lovely and accommodating, ordered an oat latte and it didn't disappoint! They have a really nice selection of cakes but didn't try one and seem to do a lot of lunch food as well, will definitely be back to try more :)

Took my daughter for a treat after a horrid trip to the orthodontist! Best bacon rolls we’ve had in a long time and can see that their more sophisticated offerings look delicious too! Great coffee. Very sweet little spot in the middle of Edinburgh which sorted us out with a brilliant brunch. The veggie breakfast was very good and kept me going until dinner time! The shakes were also very pleasant. Couldn’t recommend any more.

Buddah's Bowl ( vegan ) and gluten free, dairy free Almond cake Unassuming little place but go and try it- you will feel hugged eating the food and from the warm service. A good few vegan and gluten free dishes in there. And I am very sure they will tailor made however you want it.

Great little cosy cafe, got in just before the rush and got food and drinks for 3 plus half a full cheesecake for £34.50. Cinnamon swirl smoothie was lovely as were the breakfast buns. Basque (baked) cheesecake was to die for so we bought the last half of it! Soup of the day was hearty and tasty too Service was great, nothing to complain about at all, will definitely visit again if in Edinburgh

I think this is my new favourite place for brunch in Edinburgh! Very cute and cosy cafe and the staff were friendly. There’s nothing I can really complain about here; the food and atmosphere was perfect. Will have to return to try the other stuff on the menu, especially their deserts. Lovely, small and quiet place. Had avo and eggs in brown toast and it was delicious. Simplicity with freshness, made it a perfect breakfast. Coffee was good, although maybe a bit too sour/bitter for my taste. Staff was extremely friendly, I was greeted and straight away brought tap water even without asking. I highly recommend this place! Cannot wait to come for lunch and try one of their salads.

A family treat- I have just picked up the most delicious cakes in the world. We have one family member with gluten intolerance- and I have never tasted such an amazing brownie in all my life, the added bonus being that it's gluten free. The staff are so lovely too. I'm back tomorrow, first thing, to make sure they aren't sold out!

We went here twice: the first time for some vegetarian breakfast, which was delicious. The second time for some cinnamon and cardamom chocolate milk and a brownie. Both were great too, but the chocolate milk could have been spicier and the brownie had a slight grainy texture. Still, very good. Would definitely recommend.

I had coffee and cake at this lovely café in Edinburgh. It's outside of the super turistic old town and it was great! Cakes are fantastic, the coffee is good and also the rest of the food that I saw at the tables around me looked very tasty. There is also free wifi so it is a great place to spend a couple of hours if you have some work to do.

Me and my partner had breakfast here, it was very busy which seemed like a good thing. Sat down and ordered hot chocolate & a coffee. Breakfasts came first, my partner enjoyed hers, no beans though?! No toast included, portions felt quite small. Hot chocolate was stone cold... supposed to be a salted caramel but couldnt taste any? Wouldn't return, i was going to rate it a 2, but partner wanted to rate it 3 and she won.

THIS PLACE IS SPECIAL... It's always been my favourite cafe. The coffee is top tier so does the food , you can tell it's made with passion and commitment. Whole menu and it's dishes are thought through and so YUMMY. I've never tried a better Scottish breakfast or a bacon roll in my life. Their cakes are something that you can't pass without drooling ;) The service is amazing and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. It can be very busy but that's only a sign of a reference point.

One of my favourite cafes. It is a small independent place with top class cheesecake! It's great for small children with a selection of cars and books, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Update: toys are gone! Sadly we won't be coming as often as we needed the entertainment.

This place is great for Saturday brunch. They have a vegan option as well as a vegetarian one :-) the place is quite small and it is usually very busy! The service is good and the location is superb! Very convenient but also with handy parking spaces not so far away :-) bear in mind that they do not take card as payment so make sure you always take cash with you! There's a couple of cash machines really close to there coffee shop.

Had amazing food in here today 👍 I had a full Scottish and my granddaughter had a bacon roll (fresh morning roll stuffed with lovely bacon) & soup (huge bowl). We shared a piece of chocolate and caramel cake which was AMAZING! !!! It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious homemade chocolate cake! If there was a downside it was they were a bit slow to clear and clean the table we sat at (place was full!) I probably would have spent more but its a cash only establishment and I'd reached my limit 😆

Aside from the fact they've changed the frontage so it's hard to spot that it's called cafe class (it's pink and says seven on the window now), it's a nice little cafe with good coffee and a tasty veggie breakfast. Service was a little slow for us but it was midday on a Sunday so it's too be expected. I'd come back!

Breakfast to die for here! I’m a bit of a ‘traditional breakfast connoisseur’ if such a thing exists and I cannot speak highly enough of this place. People in catering either know how to cook eggs, or they don’t. For want of a good egg, the breakfast was lost, for want of a good breakfast the thesis failed, for want of a successful viva, humanity is doomed. Eat eggs here and play your part in the preservation of humanity.

Local family run cafe that offers freshly made food - sandwiches, baked potatoes, pastas and CAKES (oh, amazing cakes!). Think Classic NY Cheesecake, Carrot and Walnut cake, Coffee cheesecake, Chocolate and Orange cake and many many more! And all made by the owners. If you're looking for something more substantial for your lunch try the salads - they're delicious, and portions are really good. All in all a very lovely, charismatic place with amazing food! My fav local cafe!

Absolutely fantastic wee cafe in tolcross. Came across it by accident one afternoon and have gone back loads since. Lots of fresh, healthy food on offer and plenty of sweet treats available too. Not that much of a selection but the food is so good there's always something you'll like. Very cheap for what you get. A great place to watch the world go by as there are seats available in the front window of cafe. Very small so may have to wait for a seat but also provides takeaway.
