Excellent coffee, and remembered my tall black, half a sugar order the last few days, on setting foot inside. Very friendly service, and chatted with our two young boys that liked to hover at the door each morning. Lovely little spot, well worth a trip to Thistle Street, for a proper coffee fix.

Cortado here perfectly made, no chalkiness/acidity/bitterness. Easily in the top 3 coffees I’ve had in Edinburgh! Warm vibes all around too, will be back soon 👌🏽. Edit: yes the blondie was dope too, not too sweet and paired great 💪🏽

The lovely chaps of The Cobbled Roastery make their amazing coffee beans taste like heaven. I have immediately switched to their supply, after the first bag of beans that went through my grinder. Never looked back Don't believe me? Pop in and try.

We found this coffee shop/roastery looking for an kilt shop that I was a customer of many years ago. Initially we didn’t intend to stop, but seen as the part owner Vlad was really friendly and the coffee smelt so good we decided to stay and have a coffee and as a result we retuned every day for the rest of our stay in Edinburgh. The atmosphere is amazing and we ended up meeting a few of the locals and had great banter and lots of coffee whilst doing this. We would most definitely recommend this place because they roast their own beans, keep a variety of alternative milks and most of all the atmosphere. These guys are very nice and have a great banter. Stumbled upon it after lunch, they made every guest feel at home. Two coffees on their selection. If you dare trying something new, ask them a espresso using the Indian beans, delicious.

Vlad and Scott make great coffee and are lovely people— kept us going through our time living on Thistle St, even in the depths of the pandemic! It’s a rare latte that makes lockdown better; but they did.

Fresh roasted and delicious, this is what coffee should taste like! Got my first mail order delivered in person by Scott yesterday, great value (especially with free Edinburgh deliveries) and literally the best tasting cuppa I've had in years. Keep up the good work lads!

Good place to get some freshly roasted Colombian coffee. Flat white could be stronger, but maybe it's because they serve it in quite a large mug. Skip the chains that burn their beans, and go get your coffee there instead.

Massive thank you to the kind chap at the Cobbled Roastery, I was having a pretty rough day and grabbed a coffee from here. Its fair to say (and I am a coffee lover) this is one of the best coffees I have tasted in a long time.. I ended up buying the Indian beans to take home too. I will be back soon !
