J. R.An eclectic decor matched my eclectic breakfast. I get to Glasgow about once a year and always head to this most excellent café to enjoy its unique and pleasant atmosphere. The food is good and the staff always helpful. Bypass the chains and franchises and come here instead.
S.My friend and I visited here 2 weeks ago for coffee and cake. It was my choice as I had always wanted to try it (it always looks busy).
On our arrival at the door there is a sign informing you of the step which I did pass onto my friend but she still managed to stumble as she was doing something else at the time. The little tables are set out on each side due to the draught you would get in the centre every time some one comes in.
We approached the counter to be told choose a table for table service.
The cafe is nice and airy with high ceilings and on the right hand side there is a wrap around banquette with little tables in front and around.
We chose a table on the right side and as we had had a glance at the cakes behind the counter I was hoping that they had more substantial ones in the kitchen.
The staff member had on a mask but we weren't asked to do track and trace at all.
We ordered coffee and were told that the cakes at the counter were all that they had. They tasted nice but coffee and walnut cake and lemon drizzle slice didn't wow me.
The service was good and polite and the coffee was lovely but I think that I was hoping for more along the lines of Patisserie Valerie.
T. P.Gorgeous cafe located in the Glasgow city center. Came here with a friend to give it a shot, and we were more than happy with this place. The cafe is exceptionally clean and partitioned off for guests in accordance with maintaining distance (it's very respectable when it comes to stopping the spread of COVID) and nice and airy, too.
There are a variety of different seating options (upholstered chairs, wooden chairs, padded benches and other seats) and even a piano in the cafe.
I ordered a latte macchiato and banana cake, while my friend ordered a cappuccino with a triangular pastry. We were both very happy with the dessert, but we did decide that, ultimately, the banana cake was better. The coffee itself was so good and decorated beautifully. My latte macchiato came in these beautiful stratified layers and with a spoon to mix them together, whereas my friend's cappuccino had a dusting of chocolate and zig zagged frothed milk.
I highly recommend this place. The owner was so friendly and the service we received was perfect. Please give it a go

g. m.Excellent, great location, staff very courteous, friendly and professional. We had minestrone soup which comes with toasty bread, tea, cake and I had fruit scone. All lovely well presented and great value. Atmosphere great too. We were allowed in with our wee dog 🐕 which is brilliant. In fact if it wasn't dog friendly we wouldn't have gone in and I couldn't write this review. It's now our favourite cafè in that area and we will certainly return. Well done all at Cafe Fame 👏

We ordered from the lunch menu and I felt there was plenty to choose from and all very reasonably priced. Staff are really friendly and extremely helpful. There is no hustle about the place and you don't feel as if the staff want to get rid of you once you have finished eating/drinking. Definitely recommend it and I will visit again very soon.

G. C. D.Really nice place, I randomly picked walking on my way to the hotel. I run the Glasgow Northern Run this year, and I hit town really early on Saturday morning. I had few more hours before I could check in at the hotel. I decided to look for a place where I could grab a coffee, a bite and kill some time. Instead of asking Google this time I decided to use my instinct, and pick this little cafe' that looked nice and cosy from the window. That was the right decision, I loved the place, the food and above of all the staff was really welcoming!

A. B.This is less like a cafe and more like a lunch menu restaurant. Their food menu seems slightly overpriced to me and they serve an awful lot of things which tells me they can't all be good. I had a soup and tea here as it was the cheapest thing on the menu and they were just standard. The decor is nice and it has a travelling theme. It's a good place for a warm coffee and some soup but there's much better food places in the area.
u. w.Very peaceful with nice staff although they had a broken handwash dispenser in thier single customer toilet, it fell off the wall when tried to use it. Staff explained that it's always been like that. It clearly needed the screws tightening. Otherwise overall cheaply priced for a gr8 coffee and service.

Un superbe café : j'ai pris une formule petit déjeuner, un large et black Americano café ainsi qu'un jus d'orange : très bon choix et j'en avais pour mon argent.
La serveuse était très sympathique et souriante. Les lieux sont confortables et il fut plaisant de s'y asseoir.
Un bel endroit proche de la gare centrale.
