Reviews of Cup Tea Lounge Glasgow
T. D.
We came for the afternoon tea, and it was delightful. I have never been to a traditional afternoon tea before and this was fun and what I thought it would be like. It was A LOT of food. We had sandwiches, scones, and desserts as well as tea and/or coffee. We had good service and the location was handy. I definitely recommend.
We did reserve ahead of time, but the restaurant appeared to be able to accommodate without a reservation.
F. R.
Loved this place. A traditional Glasgow tea room serving large pots of tea and excellent cake. In this case, lemon drizzle. Friendly service in a beautiful setting.

Came here for afternoon tea and loved it! Beautiful old building, decorated very nicely. Staff are attentive and friendly. Good pricing. Cakes and scones were delicious. Sandwiches were lovely however could have more of a selection. Will definitely come again!

I was given brunch for 2 as a gift and it was lovely.
As we arrived we stood back to let 2 ladies outside and they stopped to say first time for them too, they had thoroughly enjoyed and hoped our experience would be just as enjoyable and it was.
Greeted at the door and shown to our table. A previous call received to check whether any special diet requirements was again double checked with us.
Food was lovely, tasty and fresh. Scones were lovely, pastries tasty.
Beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere and both members of staff friendly ,polite and attentive.
Great experience, highly recommend.Go on try it!

Just want to thank the wonderful staff today, that tended to us, for my daughters baby shower. Everyone had a lovely time, and you were all so attentive... without being overbearing! Food was amazing, and we felt as though we could really relax and enjoy ourselves. Hope you enjoyed the chocolates 😉
Definitely recommend you to all my friends, and will be back! Thanks again for all your help.

The decor is unusual. Such a beautiful building inside, but needs an interior designer to highlight this and show off the opulence of the victorian tiles, pillars etc. The staff were really nice and friendly and welcoming. The afternoon tea was only just passable. I liked having the small rolls and a wrap instead of sandwiches. The cakes felt like they had been in the freezer and left out to defrost before serving. The savoury quiche which was warm had been microwaved which meant the pastry was soggy. One small pot of jam for 2 people not enough for the scones, which were nice. I didn't ask for more. We wondered why people were leaving food as I have always asked for a box to take what I haven't eaten away for later. Now we know, as we didn't take what we hadnt eaten either. Such a shame and such a waste, which I hate doing. We did have an itison voucher so not sure if that is a different experience. I wouldn't be back for afternoon tea and I wouldn't recommend that. But the building is honestly so beautiful and worth seeing this lovely part of our city history. Such a shame the owner hasn't put in accesories to bring the best out in it. More period pieces of furniture with period colours would make this feel so much more opulent.

Always a lovely afternoon tea experience. Food is nice and the selection of teas is fairly large.
Cocktails are also good.
Staff are warm and friendly, they went out their way to help me when I messed up the booking time!
C. F.
After reading such great reviews I popped in for lunch, and was not disappointed.
The tearoom itself is beautiful; it’s like being transported back in time - with a beautiful Victorian tiled interior and gorgeous ceiling.
I had the falafel wrap and the French 71 cocktail - both were delicious.
N. B.
Love the Cup. Great Morning and afternoon teas, selection of teas and light food. Good veggie options. Listed building so need enough mobility to go up and down steps. Will use as long as we can. Wonderful surroundings - revamped old bank.
A. M.
Have had many afternoon teas at various locations and this was definitely the best!!! Staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutey delicious! Could not fault a single thing! Superb! I would highly recommend Cup Tearoom and will definitely return.

Scones are tiny not that good rolls instead sandwich more sweets than anything salmon was out the tin not fillets layer, the little quick was lo Ely surrounding is lovely with background music
M. M.
Great venue, had afternoon tea there, loved it, rolls had a variety of fillings and were very tasty. Scones and cakes were lovely. Would certainly return.
R. T.
Absolutely loved it! Cute, cosy place with great menu, wide selection of teas, ultimate Christmas vibes. Nice music, relaxing, chilled atmosphere. The avo toast was huge and tasty, not overpriced as most of the time. Will be definitely back to try their cakes or afternoon tea. Service could be friendlier though.
J. C.
Lovely place and staff very friendly. They also have some gluten free options.
A. T.
Cute place for afternoon tea, not a tourist trap, very authentic. The interior is beautiful. Had the vanilla roobois and a fruity tea. The banana chocolate cake was good, but the scones were pretty dry. Nice overall
w. h.
Enjoyed afternoon tea for two! Attentive staff and good social dostancing measures in place
J. B.
Amazing food, great decor, and friendly staff! Walked in for coffee and ended having a meal, with unparalleled service. The menu was very appealing, with many savory and sweet options (we had one of the eggs Benedict options with black pudding, delicious lentil and smoked ham soup, and a wonderful scone with clotted cream and jam). The stylish decor with tiled walls and a gin bar made for a different atmosphere. The new world check-in included a futuristic device to check temperature.
A. M.
awesome tea room, delicious afternoon tea and really helpful and friendly staff. always a brilliant experience. highly recommend
H. W.
Been here a couple of times in recent months for Afternoon Tea and its a lovely venue. Staff are so helpful. Recommend a visit. I'll be back.
J. E.
Loved it we had coffee and raspberry white chocolate scone magic 🎩 melts in you mouth beautiful great service beautiful surroundings now my go to place for coffee and cakes
J. S.
We had a morning tea and it was very tasty must say the black pudding was brilliant but couldn't fault the whole thing
H. M.
Lovely place and staff where very helpful and told us all needed to know about menu would certainly come again
l. t.
Staff super friendly and helpful, food great. Really nice atmosphere - would definitely return
L. R.
Excellent!! Great service and delicious scones. Will definitely be back!
W. F. L.
Beautiful place. The staff are attentive. Food so so and presentation needs some work.
S. P.
My favorite spot for tea in Glasgow, very comfortable with many delicious teas to chose from and excellent food as well. If you go here you won’t be disappointed.
B. P.
Three of us had afternoon tea which was plentiful and also delicious! Two of our party had gin cocktails, which they praised highly. The staff were very friendly. We would go back again. We will recommend it to our friends. 👍👍
T. K.
Large selection of tea and tasty scones. Above all I liked the decoration and atmosphere.
S. D.
Food was really good. Table wasjust a little small.
B. B.
Great place. Decor was interesting. Food well presented and tasty. We had a voucher so it was well worth it, if not it would have been a little expensive for what we got. Great selection of teas. Would go again.
We did go again, but this time not as good as the last, thus a drop of one star. Although not busy customers were placed next to each other with little social distancing. Some glasses were not clean and cups and cutlery missing, had to request a couple of times for these, and even then we didn't get some of them. The breakfast tea menu seems to have changed to include black pudding; a little disgusting it being made from blood, yuk! To their credit they did change it for us. Overall we did enjoy our stay, probably will give it a go again.
S.
My friend had a voucher as a gift for champagne afternoon tea and we used it on Saturday 26th July.... There were plenty of people having the same thing.
The track & trace, covid measures were good and staff all wore masks.
The mini rolls were lovely and fresh, the scones were warm with jam and clotted cream and the petit fours/cakes were great.
It was a lovely day and experience.
K. M.
Ordered Champagne Afternoon Tea for my wife, and the dairy free tea for me. It was fantastic, every bit was tasty, and there was a lot for the price. Delivery was spot on with live updates.
A great treat to keep you going until it reopens.
C. B.
Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea as a belated birthday treat. Food was very tasty and fresh, great selection and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend 👍
L. H.
Had an amazing breakfast here. Service is excellent.
L. N.
Lovely afternoon tea with pleasant staff who did make you feel rushed
H. S.
Great experience with afternoon tea. If you fancy a lighter version of it take Creamy tea for 8£ with scones and large pot of tea;)
L. S. (.
Fabulous service, great food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming
P. D.
Just spent a lovely afternoon, in the garden, in the sun during lockdown enjoying a fabulous champagne afternoon tea. Everything was so tasty and there was so much that we will finish cakes tomorrow. Thank you Cup. We will certainly be ordering again.
A. A.
Great place with big selection of teas and sweet and savory snacks. A must go in Glasgow!
S. K.
Amazing tea, great food!
Been there 3 times now and it's an amazing place to have a slow afternoon, enjoy a variety of teas and chat with friends.
I have yet to order food that doesn't taste great! And the scones are about the best I've found in Glasgow so far.
It's a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.
T. S.
My sister invited me to try this place am glad I did I thought I was having tea at Tiffany's with the fancy 3 tier serving tray with amazing selection of breakfast rolls and scones with fresh coffee and tea as much as you want will definitely be back great value for money and the staff were amazing made you feel special.
E.
Went here with a friend just yesterday for tea and a sandwich and couldn't have had a better experience. The food was great. Tea is always great. But the staff?! Could not have been better. They were super friendly, caring and so, so genuine. They really have raised the bar for customer service. Their people skills were on point. They were casual, informative and very professional. The fact that they sat with us to take the order (I noticed they went down on the haunches for another group), really made the experience brilliant.
G. F.
Such a wonderful tea room. We were thrilled with the gluten free and vegetarian options. Everything was lovely.
J. H.
Just took delivery of the vegan afternoon tea and it was AMAZING, everything was unbelievably tasty, the coconut and raspberry cake was so so delicious and so was everything else! Thank you so much, we will definitely be ordering more!
l. m.
Let down by another tea room for my birthday treat but the fantastic and friendly staff here accommodated us making it a really lovely visit. Food was tasty, cakes were a treat and different tea types tried. Could go on and on.... I'm definitely going back.
A. Q.
The tea and food is a little pricey but you good quality tea and freshly made food which is a bonus. I had tea and scones when I went and the scones are still warm when they're served which was nice. The interior is beautiful, it has a classy 1930's esq feel. You can book tables online but just note that that's if you plan to have food (as opposed to just having tea and scones like I did). I definitely plan to visit again.
D. H.
Went for afternoon tea Saturday 18th January.
Pros:
Lovely venue
Tea selection is vast and very nice
Option to try as many teas as you like with no extra charge
Desserts were lovely and scones were a treat
Cons:
Not much there for a non-tea drinker
Felt a bit rushed
Overall it was very nice, without feeling hugely special. Plenty of food for the price (went away with a box of treats for later on). Did feel a little bit rushed once it started to look like we were finished though. Swaying between a 4 and a 5 star review!
N. L.
Nice atmosphere, great service. Marked down a star as unfortunately the eggs in eggs benedict and eggs florentine were overdone and not runny. I'm sure they would have exchanged it if I had mentioned this but didn't want to waste food.
J. M.
Fantastic service provided today by Stephen & Claire. Nothing too much trouble and made us feel really welcome. Morning Tea was delicious. Definitely be back xx xx
J. D.
First experience here for morning tea. Very friendly staff who, while taking all safety precautions, served us with courtesy, cheerfully, speedily ensuring our visit in these more restricted times was an enjoyable one
L.
Scones are excellent, tea is good but not extraordinary, service is fine and place is great. Overall, few amendments to get to five stars
T. R.
Fantastic service from all the staff and the Stornoway Brunch was the best Brunch I've had in years. Arrived with loads of bulky luggage en route to the station. They whisked it away so we could sit comfortably. Excellent Covid systems with remote temperature reading on arrival
M. C.
Took a while to serve us. Afternoon tea all rolls no sandwiches. Fillings cream cheese and others were paste like. No real chicken or salmon. Cake selection ok but nothing special. Savoury scone and mini quiche nice. Servers polite but service slow. 1st time there. Woukdnt rush back.
J. M.
This was really brilliant. We were waited on with such nice interest in our choice of tea and drinks and everything was lovely. I had never been there but I would definitely be back. Lovely decor good food and a lovely dining experience. Will definitely be back
N. B.
Food and cakes were disappointing. Cakes were dry and sandwiches were poor. Service not great either. The only good thing was the tea had the coconut one and it was outstanding. However much better afternoon tea to be had in Glasgow.
S. R.
Really impressed by their gluten free take on an afternoon tea (they do the ordinary kind as well!). Scones served warm, nice selection of sweet treats and yummy sandwiches on decent gf bread. Excellent range of teas - I particularly enjoy the white tea with peach.
D. M.
You could easily walk past this gem as it is so ordinary from the outside. However,Inside the Victorian tiled decor is breathtaking! The afternoon tea is plentiful, well presented and tasted lovely. All the staff spoke to us at various points and were very5 welcoming and friendly. This was a surprise birthday treat and I'd recommend it to anyone! 😀
M. L. P.
Had a fantastic morning tea stand with my mother, staff were very attentive, with excellent customer service. We tried a few delicious hot teas, before my mother had a latte and I had an iced tea to finish. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend visiting! xXx
C. M.
Had an Itison voucher for afternoon tea with my sister today. It was just great. Loads to eat and wee both took a wee box of goodies home with us. Only disappointment were the toilets being a long trek down a lot of steps. Not very good for a disabled person, me! Lovely helpful friendly staff.
M. P.
Amazing afternoon tea and the service was excellent 👌
M. G.
Afternoon tea was lovely with a delicious and varied savoury and sweet selection. We found this to be very good value for the price! They also catered for our halal dietary requirement which was great also!
J. C.
I couldn't fault my experience at Cup. The food was delicious, the range of teas fantastic (the Byers Bold Brew may be the best cup of tea I've ever had) and the staff were exceptionally helpful; friendly and welcoming, but also accommodating - my friend had a baby and a pram, and they took pains to seat us comfortably and store the pram out of the way, as well as providing a high chair. Thank you to all who served us on Friday 16th Aug - you made our visit really enjoyable!
P. K.
Brilliant experience and service. Location was magnificent as well.
J. H.
Went for morning tea - both sweet and savoury items, plus mix/match bottomless drinks. Fantastic! Great quality food and drinks, service excellent and a lovely place as well. Great value.
B. B.
In Glasgow, you are spoilt by a significant number of independent businesses.
Cup Tea Lounge is one of them and is rather unique. Later in the trading day, it morphs into GIN 71......that’s imaginative.
Our morning visit was very relaxed as we were warmly greeted and shown to our table.
As we awaited our breakfast stand, we had orange juice, a bowl of granola each and a choice of beverage from an extremely extensive menu.
Incidentally, the stand was overflowing with delicious breakfast goodies.
Top up beverages were also free flowing, if required.
Ideal place to catch up with friends and enjoy the plush surroundings.
Oh and if you cannot finish your goodies, you are encouraged to have a doggy box. Glaswegians so appreciate that!!!
H. M.
What a lovely wee place Gin 71 is. And so much choice of different Gin's!!
J. E.
Three of us stopped here for a cup of tea & were just spellbound. What an astonishing place to sit in. The staff were very helpful & friendly. I loved my hot chocolate that came as dark as I like - they have a good choice. There is an great choice in loose tea & tea bags to buy & take home. My daughter had a friut tea & my friend had a latte. All were very much appreciated & liked. I would certainly recommend a visit to this hidden gem
H. F.
Got the morning Itison voucher, and it was really delicious. The breakfast stand was so much, we had trouble finishing it. Everything taste good.
The only bad thing I would say is the cups were rather stained and dirty. I understand tea stains but the cups and saucers had which we guess was food dried on it, but they were rather busy on the Saturday morning so we used scratched it off and gave it a wee wipe.
A. R.
Always good! Visited for morning tea using an itison voucher and it's great value. Staff are warm, friendly and understanding of dietary needs. Good selection of food and you leave absolutely stuffed!
M. M.
Had breakfast stand. Delicious and very filling. A wonderful granola and berries to start. Various hot filled rolls. Then delicious little pastries. Would definitely recommend this for a special treat.
S. Q.
Went for afternoon tea and it's got to be one of the best ones I've ever tasted! Usually you just have little finger sandwiches and a couple of cakes but their selection was fantastic! Definitely something for everyone and worth every penny
L.
Loved afternoon tea here so much! One of the best in Glasgow
J. M.
A beautiful tea room with a wide selection of teas and good coffees and hot chocolates. Their afternoon prosecco teas are a real highlight but make sure not to eat beforehand they're a meal unto themselves. Great place for a special cuppa
A. A.
Popped in here with a mate recently when we had some time to kill before a film. The sign outside said, "Come in for Cocktails and Dessert" so we knew we were in the right place. We had two cocktails to start that were absolutely divine then finished up with dessert which was also wonderful. They have a great selection of cupcakes as well and we want to go back to try their Afternoon Tea. Our waitress, the bartender and the chef who presented us with dessert were all really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place!
D. K.
Like some kind of fabulous speak easy, tea room by day and gin den by night this former bank of India is very much a Jekyll and Hyde. Sandwich selection and in particular the scones above par for somewhere city centre. Unfortunately our 5yo had a very public sugar induced meltdown after consuming a fistfull of jelly beans and flying saucers from the children's afternoon tea. Staff friendly and helpful, but got the feeling would have been slightly less so if the place had been busy.
L. D.
Great cream tea and fresh tea. Only set back was the service which was not that good. Got served moldy jam with my scones but got a new one. I would recommend this place. since I believe we just had a bad day.
C. A. G.
Cup Tea Lounge was superb. Food and Tea were lovely and so were the staff, who were so friendly and helpful, but without fussing over us. A wonderful experience we received as a gift! We will definitely return here.
H. M.
I would like to be able to control the strength of the tea and it should be loose tea in the tea pot. I do think you shouldn't have to pack your own doggy bag either. Scones a bit dry. However a good price for afternoon tea considering central location.
R. D.
Lovely venue and wonderful, friendly staff. Food quality is excellent and if you're a tea drinker then you are really spoiled for choice. Only criticism, and it's nothing really, but chairs are really low compared to the tables.
M. C.
Afternoon tea is excellent
Beautiful surroundings. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. We have been a number of times looking forward to our next visit.
R. M.
Visited today with a friend .This was the first time being out since my mum passed away having looked after her since the start of lockdown in March -I was very emotional .The waitress Lara was absolutely beautiful kind and caring -she looked after me and made a very difficult experience bearable.I cannot thank you enough.Sending you all the biggest thank you and hugs love Rhonda xxxx
D. M.
Lovely old fashioned/modern fusion tea room serving a variety of classics with modern twists. We very much enjoyed the afternoon tea, recommend you pay a little extra to have a glass of prosecco for a special occasion!
W. t. K.
What a nice place in former bank of India
N. F.
Cup Tea Lounge does not look like much from the outside but from the interior is absolutely stunning. We had great scones and a beautiful cup of tea. Recommended if you're looking for a cuppa in Glasgow.
D. R.
I tries this place by chance at the beginning of this year and it has now become one of our favourite places to go. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are good and the cupcakes are just amazing. Would defiantly recommend going to cup for a nice relaxing tea and cupcake :)
ت. ح.
I like Florentine dish for breakfast , it is a poached egg with Haloumi Cheese ، orange juice was perfect, and the cappuccino was not bad. The service was good, but the food delayed a little bit .
G. A.
Went in for brunch on a rare Monday holiday. My boyfriend had the sausages on a roll and said they were good. I had the eggs Benedict but their version of the mustard hollandaise was a bit too mustardy for me. However, good experience aon balance.
r. s.
Defo worth a visit when in Glasgow... Sooo much tasty food and a very big tea menu
... Sooo tasty
J. M. F.
Nice and cosy inside but avoid for coffee and food. Flat White milk was burnt and bread was cheap white sliced pan, avocado had black bits on it, hollandaise sauce was cold and tasted like it was out of jar not a properly prepared Florentine style sauce, the baguette was hard and sawdusty. No disrespect to servers or staff, but felt we should let both owners and prospective customers know this. Didn't try any teas or cakes which may be it's USP.
A. C.
Almost 4 years ago, my then-to-be wife and I had our first date, which was a great Thai restaurant for lunch and Cup Tea Lounge for a cake and coffee afterwards...
The Lounge looks the part, but the cakes we got 4 years ago were stale and not what you'd expect from the grand venue.
It still gets 3 stars for nostalgia, because we ended up married...
F. M.
A warm and friendly place, service and staff excellent would go again
J. W.
Very welcoming, lovely staff and food good. Would recommend
J. B.
It's really delicious and it's not expensive. The waiters are nice.
J. T.
Very authenitic decor it was like being transported into the 18th centry with all the original wall coverings and floors. We went for afternoon tea and the food was fantistic. The tea selection was huge and in the evening this fine place is a gin joint with over 50 types of gin and many, many choices if different tonics. Well worth going to.
D. G.
Went for the Morning Tea for 2 and would have to say it was fantastic. Something for everyone and at no time did we feel rushed. Free refills on the tea and seeled the deal. Good value for money..
G. Y.
Enjoyed meals and coffee here each time I go to Edinburgh especially as wife is gluten and dairy free. Prices reasonable. Time relaxed.
R. M.
Sad that they don't have the cupcake counter anymore, but the other treats are lovely though.
D. R.
Always wonderful afternoon tea here. Fantastic friendly service in beautiful surroundings.
P. G.
Had a delicious afternoon tea , felt very safe & staff were brilliant very helpful & friendly, would definitely go back .
L. K.
Good soup and sandwich but the double choc cupcake ( the cake itself was dry), the choc frosting was delicious. The white tea was too light could not really taste the tea.
S. M.
Afternoon tea is great value for money and of course you have to upgrade it for a cocktail too! There was so much food that we ended up having to get a doggy bag for our left overs!
M. K.
Pros: Great selection of brewed teas and amazing atmosphere in the heart of the city. Coffee is decently good.
Cons: Staff and some noise from the streets
s. k.
Best Afternoon tea we have had!!! Fantastic quality food & service was amazing nothing was a bother for the lovely girl who served us on Fri 4th Oct
a. m.
Great choice of tea and a cupcake list that spans half a page!! The lunch's are really great too!
Would definitely recommend a visit even if its just to try the vanilla rooibos tea and after eight cupcake :)
C. M.
I love going to cup in Glasgow been loads of times and their morning breakfast on a stand is lovely also the range of teas they have is amazing you can even try tablet tea it's good to try something different, the mini rolls on bacon and sausage are great and all the lovely pastries, staff are always welcoming and friendly.
M. M.
Had a lovely afternoon here with my husband with a sharing gin teapot, staff lovely and attentive but not over fussy decor outstanding and staff can explain the history of the building. Great time .
L. M.
Great little place in Glasgow. We can for lunch and the food was great. Some good vegan options available on the menu.
P. M.
The place is amazing the staff couldn't be any more helpful. The afternoon tea is so filling and tasty and the cocktails are lovely.
O. B. f.
Wonderful staff ,service superb
S. D.
Great gin selction (obviously) i recommend the flights great value for money, one flaw waited a long time for service feels like a lack of staff? Could be due to it being a tuesday albeit very friendly staff.
G. L.
Had a great afternoon tea food excellent and service first class, helpful & friendly would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon
C. S.
The building is beautiful inside, they have a great selection of teas and cakes, afternoon tea or brunch. Add to that a champagne or cocktail with your meal or cake and you have a great afternoon of indulgence.
J.
The best scones I’ve had in the UK so far! Lovely space and service too ☕️
T. M.
High tea with a nice range of sandwiches and cakes. Aimed at people who like to make a ritual out of a cup of tea but welcomes all, including kids.
P. S.
Can't understand the negative feedback. Place was mobbed but they still made time to come to our table.
Also, try the white snowdrop tea, tastes good and it's also pink!
L. M.
One of my absolute favourite places. Amazing food and always had friendly staff
A. N.
Delicious cakes... The chocolate coconut was the perfect blend of chocolate and coconut, both flavours came through beautifully.
S. J.
Didn't like gin before visiting here! I was wrong there really is a gin for everyone!
K. H.
Super afternoon tea. The loose leaf to take home is excellent quality
M. P.
That was such a lovely moment. The food was very good.
Very, very nice and sweet people.
Merci beaucoup :)
The 2 french girls 🇫🇷 ☺️

Great experience - attentive staff, happy to host a lively baby and excellent all-gluten free afternoon tea menu.
K. P.
Afternoon tea was delicious and the staff were all very attentive

A massive choice of tea. Very popular place. Cakes were great but too sweet. The afternoon tea looked great!
E. S.

B. G.
We were in for Afternoon Tea.
It was excellent helped by efficient helpful staff.
Bravo all round a quality place, our first visit there.
J. B.
Its called Gin71 now and serves 71 different gins and cocktails too. Great staff, free popcorn, what do you want more? Try one of the "gin flights".
M. H.
Had a lovely Afternoon Tea...there were loads to eat and the staff just lovely and helpful... Lauren (with pink hair) was delightful..x
A. M.
Lovely surroundings with attentive staff. Enjoyable food and fantastic array of tea.
A. S.
Very busy when we arrived, staff remained professional and polite, extensive gin menu plus alternative drinks available.
W. M.
It was quite nice, a little bit expensive but the food was good!
A. D.
Beautiful venue. Astonishing tea menu , great cake and lovely staff.
F. S.
The place is a little over rated. The egg bake had no taste and the scones were so dry. The friendly staff made up for it at least.
j. p.
Bread was a bit stale at the corners. Quite expensive for what you were served and a crying baby throughout the experience did not make the day any better
S. K.
Wonderful architecture, great array of teas, scrumptious sandwiches, delicious cakes and scones.
f. m.
Very nice place! Good service and great ambient! Wonderful Cappuccino and cream tea!
M. M.
Fabulous breakfast tea, loads to eat. Beautiful venue, very relaxing.
D. S.
Nice large selection of tea. It was empty at 10:30, but busier by 11am on a Friday

(Translated) A sweet little coffee in the morning at noon and in the evening a ginbar. The change was perfect and the atmosphere is a dream. The breakfast (Belgian waffles with fat Nutella and strawberries) was delicious.
In the evening the gin selection was breathtaking and gave me many hours there. When I am back in Glasgow I will come over here. Certainly :-)

(Translated) Tasty tea tent. Very cozy and cozy. We felt a bit less treated as a tourist and the staff did not work very efficiently. Highly recommended for tea and brunch, or afternoon tea. The tea can be tastier, or the own brand is not that good, or the "organic" tea is not really our thing.
(Original)
Lekkere theetent.
