Have been here a few times for both their rolls and salad bowls. Always to a high standard. Slightly more expensive than the average in the area but have never been disappointed. Halloumi/egg rolls and chicken salad bowl are recommended. Seemingly the coffee is quite good too but I don't dabble in that. Can be a queue sometimes at the weekend so bear that in mind if you are in a rush (this might be better now with more things opening up).

Good service and friendly staff, however there are some downsides. Went there a few days ago and enjoyed a double espresso with a wee pistacchio pastry. It was fine, however I have tried better coffees in Glasgow. My espresso came in a flat white cup, which I don't really understand. It should have come on its correspondent cup size. This café does not offer free wifi, so be aware that there is no chance to connect your laptop to the internet. Overall my experience was very good and the staff were very friendly. The only downsides are those above mentioned.

Best coffee on the south side. Not exaggerating. Honestly, it is amazing!! Hot food is also very good. Outside sitting area and staff are super friendly. They also have Loyalty cards. Only issue is however, there is not a lot of space. Never been at a time there is no tables, but the space is really cozy and small. Really comfortable chairs too.

Had breakfast there. It was fabulous. Poached egg on toast with smoked bacon and avocado spread on toasted Italian bread. Will definitely be going back for more. The price was not to bad for what was on the plate. The coffee was brilliant also.

A wee secret belter in Shawlands. The food is so well made, excellent rotation of specials and big effort to accommodate dietary needs. Very thoughtful menu and put together with a huge amount of care and effort. The coffee is very consistently made and the barista is always friendly and remembers you if you are a regular, the waiting staff are always so happy and I think this proves they are looking after their staff here! I am simply addicted to how well run and how brilliant the food is and I’m happy I live so close by. 10/10

Gizzi's is a family owned and run Italian coffee shop in the heart of the Southside of Glasgow. As well as coffee, you'll find a Italian dishes, cakes and pastries on offer too. I always find myself ordering a coffee with some pizza or pasta dish. Oh and if you're looking for breakfast/brunch they have a range of great options for you. The inside is petite which some consider a drawback but I think it adds to the local, intimate feeling that's lost in larger places. I highly recommend to locals as a place to convene regularly and for travellers to check out if they get a chance.
