First time diners for a Saturday tea. Booked in advance which is recommended for 6 people and were cheerful greeted and shown to table, drinks promptly taken and delivered.
The menu has a nice range to please all and we had fish, flat iron, steak and ale pie with proper puff pastry and chicken, very happy with the high quality of food, not a scrap was left and then we squeezed in some lushly deserts.
Will definitely be back the next time we are in Scotland.

Very nice find, nice location, wasn’t expecting much, food was very good, we had a couple of bowls of restaurant quality “if not better” minestrone, followed with 2 baked potatoes with prawn Marie rose, very nice quality of presentation and taste. Only one negative that I would say is, the tables felt like they where not cleaned properly, but after having a closes look, I think it was down to what ever they where varnished with, they felt sticky, other than that, the place is spotless, and the staff serving where very nice. Prices are very reasonable. Great wee place.

We absolutely love this wee place. The food is spectacular and their gluten free menu is superb! Their gluten free all day breakfast is the best I have ever eaten. The staff are super friendly both in the cafe and the shop. The surroundings are super pretty and the animals are lovely to go and see. This is definitely our family favourite in Lanarkshire.

Lovely farm shop and place for food, we were in for lunch and had the combo sharer for two.
Next time we want to either try breakfast or a salad, we'll be back.
Try and stay away from the cakes and baked good at the checkout, we couldn't resist and ended up with a mars bar crispy cake my partner is very particular about this type of cake and she said it's the best one she's had in a long time.
The staff couldn't have been nicer.

Hands down one of the best cafes! Such a friendly atmosphere and not to mention how good the food (and cakes 😍) were!
The service was great and they were very accommodating for what I wanted!
Perfect place for the kids too! Will definitely be back soon!

Was looking for somewhere to go for lunch when I came across this great find, as it was last minute I didn’t book but the staff were very accommodating and explained that they mostly just take bookings as they are so busy which I now realise after looking on their Facebook page that they try and advise people to book and I definitely see why as this isn’t your average cafe. They gave me a table and let me know the next booking was in at 2:10 which gave me 50 minutes which was more than enough time. Even though they were busy they were quick to serve me and gave me my drink right away, I had the classic cheeseburger and can say it’s by far the best burger I’ve ever had even compared to some top rated restaurants, I didnt quite have room for a cake so got a slice of Victoria sponge to take away which i would go back for again as it was delicious and hopefully try more of the cakes as they are all homemade at the cafe. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful and I’ll definitely be back and know to book next time to ensure I get a table!
