A nice small place, they have a good variety of coffee beans from different roasters. They also sell reusable cups and coffee equipments. The place can get very crowded and noisy at times. Barista seemed lovely and patient with some yet not with others, as he went “oh for *uck sake!” Which I think is not very appropriate. Coffee tasted just ok for me. Though, I appreciated the latte art, you don’t see much of it in Glasgow. Overall, there was nothing that would make me choose visiting this particular place over others.

It really doesn't get better. Perch & Rest really belongs in the 'platinum' category of coffee shops in Glasgow. One of very few places in Glasgow where their coffee doesn't just taste like coffee—you taste the coffee notes. This is in part due to the great coffee beans they use from around the world, but also due to how it is measured and brewed. I've been visiting P&R for around 2 years now, and it's always, always good. The consistently is always there. The guys who run and work there are great as well, chatty and knowledgeable. There are loads of coffee related items to buy—from kettles, to V60's etc. They also have a small but delicious range of cakes and sandwiches, which compliment their coffee really well. As I mentioned, we are talking about one of the best places in Glasgow, and probably Scotland, to get coffee. It's my go to coffee shop, and I don't even live in the west end.

A lovely cafe with a nice atmosphere, the coffee and sweets are a little bit expensive, but taste very good. We tried their piccolo coffee, it was amazing.

I’m not a professional fan of coffees but I really enjoyed the coffee here. The machines and techniques they used all looked professional to me, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about coffee. I ordered cappuccino and it certainly was one of the best I had. The coffee scent was strong but so nicely blended with milk. I ordered takeaway, but the interior was neat and beautiful I imagine it will be nice to spend a couple of hours here. Would consider another visit if I come somewhere near!

Wonderful place nestled in a beautiful location with cute, bright minimalistic interior and leafy outside seating too. Coffee is divine and made with extremely well sourced beans of very high quality. Highly recommended! Great selection of dairy free milks available too so vegan friendly and great selection of cakes! 👌 Authentic noodles for offer too, cooked to perfection by authentic Chinese chef. Friendly, professional staff too. This is a place to watch!

Recently opened by a lovely young couple, bright and chic everything designed by the owners, great menu and coffee for the connoisseur! There's also a lovely garden and outside seating where I often enjoy my coffee and cake, roll or noodles. The road is a quiet road in the west end but just off great western road by kelvinbridge subway so really easy to get to as well. Can't recommend enough!

Not only did the staff help me pick a bag of coffee that would suit my tastes and give me advice on grinders, but they also made me one of the nicest lattes i've had. Would highly recommend!

Lovely, bright space inside, one of the most elegantly designed espresso machines I’ve seen in a long time, and a nice collection of sunny tables outside for summer afternoons. Oh, and the espresso is excellent… not always the case in Glasgow.

Amazing coffee, one of the best latte I have ever had. The shop is modern and bright packed full of beautiful coffee equipment and the most amazing range of retail coffee. The people working there are super friendly and have great knowledge of all the different types of coffee. It's a absolutely must for any coffee lover who finds them self in the West End of Glasgow, you won't be disappointed 👍

Mixed feeling about this place. Been three times and a bit inconsistent. First flat white coffee I had was one of the best I’d ever had. The guy was very helpful talking about different coffee related things questions I had. The second time I went, different guy, very nice but couldn’t make a flat white, just got a milky coffee. Third time same thing. Will try again but it’s a bit pot luck. Will probably just got for it black next time. Just been back and I’m pleased to say really really awesome!! Had a snack as well which was better than I expected. Thanks for writing back guys and committing to awesomeness!! 👍

Quirky, friendly little cafe with some outside seating. Our coffees were very good, mine had a great, fruity flavour. We also had noodles with tofu , which was really fresh and tasty. Very friendly staff, can't fault this place and will be back.

What a great little place. The coffee is easily the best in Glasgow, and it’s so nice that it doesn’t have the typical sandwich selection. Instead there is a great offering of Asian influenced food. My absolute favourite is to sit outside in the little garden area or on the street with a macchiato and maybe a wee brownie. Well worth a visit!

Perch & Rest boasts Glasgow's most impressive array of technical coffee equipment. They got a mythos 2 for God's sake. Automatic filter brewers. It's a coffee buff's nerdy fantasy land. Loads of good coffees to choose from. Super cool decor and stuff, aesthetically complete. Haven't eaten the food but I would cause it looks beast.
