Reviews of Riverhill Coffee Bar
K.
I would walk past when I visited Glasgow and people were sitting outside with creamy coffee and delicious pastries 💙 So I decided to see what the attraction was all about!
Now I know !! You must visit !
Very European, the cakes and pastries are exceptional and lovely friendly staff ☕️🧁🥞
S. W.
This pokey little cafe is the home to a lot of soul and great sausage rolls. The coffee isn't bad either. From the steady stream of people I am not the only person to think so.
Z. H.
Quite small if you want to get seated but overall great selection of salted and sweet food for breakfast.
D. F.
Small hole in the wall cafe with oomph- nice snacks, lovely coffee - very small.
M. H.
The best Portuguese tart I've ever had! If there's one thing I'd recommend, it's definitely this. The pastry and bakes selection is out of this world. Only wish there was more savoury choice.
U. M. G.
Maybe it's because prices are rising but I expected more from this place. I got an oat cappuccino (btw, pretty small tbh) for 3,7£. It's already too expensive for me considering I come from Spain and a similar coffee with a similar quality costs around 1,7£ but at least I expected something bigger in size. Staff members are very nice and helpful, sometimes when there's a huge queue they barely look at you or they look angry, but understandable. There is not much space inside or outside, so not a recommended place for working. I had it in my list of top coffee shops to try but coffee was okay and nothing truly stood out.
a.
As a bakery this place is great. Had soup of the day and amazing baked goods.
But the coffee is absolutely horrendous - incredibly weak. Tasted like brown water with milk.
b. m.
Great food, needs more space because gets very busy with proximity to train station. Coffee a little small but all good quality.
A. W.
Small independent coffee shop in Central Glasgow very near Central railway station with a large window and stellar views of the passing world. It's certainly the smallest coffee shop I've had the pleasure of enjoying but it had a steady stream of customers in the time I was there. The coffee was fine, tasty and refreshing. The service was good. The only problem was the seats, well stools really weren't the most comfortable and the shop was uncomfortably hot.
Y. Z.
If you are looking for a cup of coffee tasted different from the regular. I strongly recommend Riverhill Coffee Bar. Their coffee tastes with fantastic flavor and aroma, which empresses me deeply.
The are my favorite coffee shop. I think they are even better than many famous coffee shops in the western US.
S. F.
What a beautiful cozy Cafe! We have been here several times and every time is really nice. The staff is really friendly and always smiling which is the most important thing to me when it comes to cafes.
Great variety of fresh sandwiches and desserts, vegan options available as well. Prices are normal.
Definitely need to try it when you are in the city centre!
A. F. E. R.
It may be small, but boy does it pack a punch. The cakes are delicous, and the range was huge, and the staff very friendly. Well worth squeezing in for!

This little cafe in the heart of Glasgow is a welcome respite from a day of touring. The staff are fast and attentive, and the food is fresh and tasty -- I recommend the veg roast and any of the pastries. The dairy-free carrot cake was especially good -- fluffy and not-too-sweet, and stuffed with great nuts like walnuts and sunflower seeds (I think). Excellent stop while shopping!
D. M. J.
Beautifully crafted Bonsoy Lattes for not that much money at all! £3.10 for a large latte ( which is ACTUALLY large ) with quality soy milk is rare! Kind and smiley staff, always ready to help.❣️ Amazing bright window seats, although there is only 3 & the seats are stools. Funky takeaway cups👏🏼 & they offer a discount if you bring a reusable cup in! No bathroom or tables for families / large groups. 😊
K. M.
Good coffee but the pastries on display are on the counter right where the queue forms - without any glass in front of it. No fresh slow pour.
H. M.
No more Lovely Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich anymore. However vegan cookies and coffee are very nice.
A. K.
Smooth af coffee and the best cake selection. Top marks
M. L.
The best coffee I’ve had in Glasgow by far, absolutely amazing - I only have a couple hours left in the city, but I’ll be be for another before I leave.
F. M.
I had a vegan sausage roll but I couldn't eat it because it was far too peppery. A pity because I've enjoyed their vegan sausage rolls in the past. New recipe? Accident in the kitchen?
K. P.
The cappuccino is almost perfect and the cakes are to die for. You don’t often find homemade these days. Only problem is they have no lavvy!
M. M.
Love this place been coming for years, the cakes are all homedade and change a lot, they’re fresh and not full of emulsifiers used to make the texture last longer, like cakes in pound shops that last for weeks.the coffee good and the sandwiches are Devine.I will keep coming back as I reckon this place is the best of the best in Glasgow ,it’s not cheap, but then you would pay similar for rubbish food.the coffee is on the small side I have dropped a star as ont o the staff recently has the total wrong attitude for riverhill, she is abrupt non welcoming, she shouts out the prices to the staff to charge but has an attitudal issue I said the cakes are so good I could eat the lot,she just says nothing ,makes you feel like a means to and end for her.Her attitude is I feel at odds with the lovely food soups etc ,and you basically have a person imo fit for a burger van selling dross who I get the vibes wouldn’t give a damn what you were eating
J. F. G.
Friendly polite staff. Nice chicken salad sandwich. Only a few tables, and they're outdoors, if you're looking for somewhere to sit.
C. W.
A carnivore, vegan and a vegetarian walk into a small cafe in Glasgow, and they all enjoyed great food.
My favourite lunch spot when working, Riverhill is one of the few places where all diet preferences work in harmony. They all taste great, and although I’m not vegan or vegetarian I will select whatever sounds tastiest on the day.
The coffee is also great, and the cakes are sadly also deliciously tempting. Staff are also very friendly.
M. T.
I really liked the food and service, but I didn't like the sitting in high chairs. But every coffee shop that is not a chain has the same sitting.
M. W.
Always busy, which is a testament to how good their food is. Whether you want something for breakfast or nipping in to grab lunch, their selection of homemade sandwiches, bagels, and cakes are amazing. They have a great selection of vegan options as well. Highly recommend, but hurry as they sell out fast at lunchtime.
H. P.
Excellent coffee and great selection of pastries when you enter the shop
O.
Love this place! Amazing coffee, food and cakes available to sit in or takeaway. The shop itself is really cool inside. Staff are very nice and provide a good service. Loads of selection in terms of food as well.
J. M.
What a la’al gem this place is. The cakes are delicious, hot chocolate, coffee and THE best bacon butties on truly delightful morning roles. The staff are really lovely, a definite must for any visit to Glasgow.
Keep doing what you do guys.
E. R.
Very nice refreshing tea and the most delicious muesli I've ever had. Very friendly staff too.
M. B.
One of the best coffees in town and they always have interesting and delicious cakes. Their shawarma is very tasty, don't get in too late at lunchtime if you want a chance to try it!
C. B.
Very limited space for sitting in, but superb selection of sandwiches, rolls, soup etc. for take away. Great soup of the day for £3. The kind of place to buy healthy lunch and take back to office!
R. k.
I’ve decided to give the place a try one time, then it became one of favorite places to go to during my coffee-break.
Coffee is always on point. I either get a flat white or a piccolo.
Cakes are always a delight. Tried an apple cake, seeds bar, almond truffles, raspberry cake, granola bowl. All were yummy. Haven’t tried a thing that I didn’t like till now.
Baristas are lovely. So yeah don’t hesitate if you’re considering to visit Riverhill.
A. F.
Good coffee and tasty pastries.
M. K.
Amazing oat milk latte! Real pleasure. Very nice vibe from the place and staff. Expect a smaller place that sometimes get crowded with take-away people.
M.
Very nice Coffee and Sandwiches, loved my salt beef bagel yesterday and my Chicken Shawarma today. Staff are friendly and attentive with good customer care.
R. S.
The girls in this cafe were very kind friendly and very helpful indeed. The lentil soup they gave me had added flavour, unsure what it was but it was slightly spicey, it was really delicious. The kiche was great, lovely n firm and full of flavour. The white coffee I had was tasty, not too strong, good quality. Most of all, the girls were lovely and kind, it made me feel well- looked after, as I have been having a roug time at work lately. The only fly in the ointment is the bench outside was wobbly, I had to sit on the end to stop it from collapsing, so I warned them it was an accident waiting to happen!
Not to worry as most folk buy takeaway. Anyway....
Well done! I totally recommend this place,
thank you!
S. H.
I ordered flat white and americano (but I am sure it was filter coffee not americano) however, they were delicious 😋💞. Come back again for sure.
J. P.
Great food and choice of drinks for breakfast or along the day
A. A.
Their lemon drizzle cake is soo good. I had flat white and it was amazing! Recommend it 👍🏽
A. L.
The coffee was okay and brownie was pretty good, but frittata was very disappointing and seemed old. The cafe it self looks nice and other foods might be better than the ones we tried.
G. M.
Great for a quick bite, in and out! Interesting sandwich choices. Serves Dear Green coffee which is always a good choice.
w. j.
Really lovely cakes and pastries but the workers are often unwelcoming
Y. Y.
My favorite place for breakfast in Glasgow. Chorizo bagel is SO tasty!
A. P.
Delicious oat latte and bagel with egg, chorizo, and paprika mayo. Friendly staff
E. W.
I used to work closeby and a Riverhill lunch was a fantastic treat. There’s always a great selection of delicious cakes and the savoury selection always has a great range. You could visit every day for weeks and have something different every time - this place definitely punches above its size.
The staff are friendly and whilst it’s not the cheapest place, the food is definitely worth it.
D. S.
Definitely a place to go at anytime especially if you love your eggs you must have the egg royal!! Good coffee to. Enjoy!!!!
N. J.
This is a great little find. The food is so tasty and the cakes are to die for!
The staff are absolutely all about pleasing the customer and they play good music which adds to a very enjoyable lunch.
My husband had a scone after his fab sausage and black pudding pastry roll and he said it was the best scone hes ever tasted...hes tasted lots of scones trust me!
They made a lovely sweet potato salad which was ideal for my diabetes, however, I always have a cake and coffee (with a sweetener which the staff pop in for me), ah well, need to walk that glucose off!
Not for fussy eaters, but for people who love tasty home made treats.
M. G.
If you are shopping in the Buchanan Street area and you need a pick-me-up this little coffee shop is a great choice! It is very small and very busy, so it is not exactly a place you can sit around and lounge. The food smells good and looks amazing. I unfortunately had eaten shortly before Riverhill, but next time I will save my appetite to try their food! The staff was extremely friendly and I think that may be the best part of this quaint little shop.
S. S.
Brilliant coffee from local roasters Dear Green. Fantastic selection of cakes and sandwiches amongst other delights. Can't wait to go back.
S. Y.
Fantastic crayfish and bacon baggette then Nutella croissant. Coffee is really good too.
S. R.
In brief: Great, unique sandwiches and cakes; nice decor, though not somewhere for a long comfy chat; coffee flavour unfortunately left something to be desired.
Stopped in for a quick sandwich (great selection - not run-of-the-mill!) and a coffee. The staff were friendly, though I can't comment too much; there were more staff behind the bar than you'd expect while I was in and there seemed to be a shift change taking place, so the overall impression for that short time was understandably not exactly what you'd describe as 100% customer-oriented.
There are just a few seats around the walls with ledge-tables for people grabbing a quick break, and the door was propped open so it's not somewhere I'd go for a catch-up with an old friend. The food, however, was great (crayfish filling on a seeded bread roll) and the cakes looked delicious.
The only big disappointment was the coffee. When I was leaving I ordered a large black coffee to take with me, and at one point I got the distinct flavour of liquorice. I appreciate coffee for the flavour rather than the hot-drink-and-caffeine aspect, so I was a little let down.
Judging overall, though, I'd definitely go back for a classy, non-packaged or mass-produced, flavoursome lunch break.
N. K.
What an incredible little coffee shop!
The coffee is amazing, the cakes and bakery stuff is to die for and the staff are so lovely!
The coffee shop itself is quite small so I personally always carry out. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I believe it is overly expensive.
S. M.
Our single favourite place in Scotland. The coffee is great, the food is consistently outstanding and the staff are a treasure. Could do with being three times the size but given how good it is, I wouldn't dare change anything.
J. H.
This a really fantastic speciality coffee shop and a great use of space too. The coffee was bright and fruity, the baristas were clearly passionate and very helpful, and there were very freshly roasted bags of Dear Green coffee available to buy.
The baked goods are also fantastic and the selection of food on offer is impressive. There's very limited space and seating but the shop has done well with what they have. If it's busy you won't want to linger long but at a quieter time it's perfectly comfortable to sit and enjoy your brew.
R. M. M.
Upside: Amazing range of cakes, the sandwiches looked good but I didn't eat one. Downside: very cramped and very loud music, limited range of teas. I didn't try the coffee, so can't comment on that.
Given the luxurious cakes (the millionaire shortbread looked particularly glorious), you would expect this to be somewhere you could sit and slowly savour them, however the cramped space however that's just not possible given the limited space and that the serving area drives customers in and out behind the seating. Pity.
J. S.
Very good coffee, but definitely not the best in Glasgow as people claim. I'd say the best in the city centre though. Cakes are also very, very good - a substantial screen or glass box to separate from the public for hygiene purposes would be good though as there is a lot of through traffic past the cakes.
Shop is very small so don't expect to go and get a seat, especially if you are with any other people. Worth a visit, even if you end up having to take away.
C. V.
My favourite small cafe for a different lunch every time I go with daily specials. Great cakes too. Not much seating though so you may need to be friendly with other patrons if you want to sit in.
J. S.
Solid five stars. Some of the best coffee in Glasgow, food is also great and staff are friendly. Can't really ask for much more. It does get crowded inside so better to take away usually.
D. B.
Great quality coffee and pastries.
Quick friendly service.
4/5 because the outdoor seating is wobbly and mildly terrifying to sit on.
L. F.
Amazing food as always. Not. Many places do food that tastes this good!
T. F.
Lovely staff! Great flat white, and the maple bacon cinnamon swirl was stunning.
R. H.
This is one of the best little coffee shops in Glasgow and it's nice to skip the big corporate places in favor of this adorable gem. The baristas are fantastic and super friendly. The coffee is top notch and is quite a bit less expensive than most places. The mochas are incredible with a choice of white, milk or dark chocolate. Definitely stop buy.
V. E.
Quaint little place, long and narrow. Food was interesting and different, fresh ingredients, unfailingly delicious. I had some type of grilled peach salad with goat cheese mousse and nuts that was heavenly! Excellent service, lovely wines, great food. My friends and I all loved this place. What a find!
H. L.
Lovely little coffee shop with a range of food items (I didn't try any, but they looked great!). We sat in to have our drinks and it was very busy, but we managed to get a seat and it was a lovely busy atmosphere. Great little find for our holiday!
J. S.
Lovely little coffee shop. The scones were delicious as was the breakfast overnight oats with chia. Highly recommend.
A.
Cute little coffee shop. There is VERY limited seating. There are no tables, only a counter seating about 7 facing the wall. This is more of a take away coffee place. The prices seemed alright and the food looked amazing. Big selection of cakes.
G. R.
Amazing sandwiches and probably the most imaginative and beautiful cakes and bakes in town! Also excellent coffee. Very small space, best take out at peak times.
L. S.
I'm so glad this was recommended to me on my first day of visiting Glasgow. The coffee bar has a decent selection of cakes and snacks and it has good coffee! All topped off with friendly smiling staff and a warm atmosphere. Recommend! Lovely!
S. w.
Delicious spot for coffee and cake! Friendly, great quality food and drink and really reasonably priced. Definitely worth checking out!
P.
Excellent coffee, amazing handmade and locally produced pastries, sandwiches etc, and wonderful service. Head and shoulders above the likes of Nero and Costa (both in the vicinity).
Only complaint is its too small, although the restaurant around the corner has more room for seating.
V. K.
A cozy and friendly cafe near the shopping district. Staff are welcoming and friendly, which is a nice change from the mostly cold treatment you tend to get at newer cafes. They use locally roasted beans (by Dear Green), and have quite a few good food items including vegan/vegetarian options. Coffee (I had a flat white) of course is superb and just the thing for the weather on most days.
S. S.
The perfect 30 minutes I have spent here: the nicest staff you can imagine, delicious Greek yogurt with berry jam, a creamy latte, good music at the right volume. Loved it. My favourite Glasgow breakfast.
L. W.
Tasty food. Friendly staff. Can be a little tight for space but the healthy options are worth it
S. T.
The best coffee to be found in Central Glasgow.
An amazing Kiwi barista made us incredible flat whites, the sriracha club sandwich and chorizo and egg bagel were delicious and perfect for a long train trip and the sweets... The billionaire shortbread and raspberry white chocolate tart are out of this world! Highly recommend.
W. W.
This place is brilliant! Artisan, independent cafe selling locally roasted coffee, the most sensational cakes and treats, unusual lunch choices completely different from your massive chain. For the more discerning individual. The Pasteis de Nata are to die for, not good for the waistline when you are neighbours!
N. W.
Great quality food ideal for lunch to go, or as a quick sit in. The coffee is really good too. Fantastic music, usually classic rock and indie, so if you are lucky enough to find a seat it is worth sitting in.
J. W.
I've had this place on Too Good To Go twice now so I've tried a various amount of things on the menu, and I'd definitely recommend! The chicken shawarma wrap especially is 100% worth the price, as it's massive and packed full with ingredients.
R. T.
Really great coffee, great staff, great food. Had the avo on toast with chilli oil and oat latte. Really fantastic. The cake selection looked tempting. Highly recommend
J.
Really great coffee, scone and cake! I especially liked the mocha made with proper chocolate rather than instant powder. Lovely staff even at busy times.
v. f.
One of the highlights of my trip to Scotland. Perfectly crafted Lattes with Oat milk. Sadly there was no drip coffee option. We consumed two of their vegan baked goods washed down with a latte and an americano. I don't think you can go wrong here so just come and order 1 of everything! Friendly staff that, even while crowded in a small space, will not make you feel rushed in you caffeine deprived state. I asked more questions than is usually allowed in a caffe, all were answered with a smile and patience...
S. S.
Lovely place, nice wee atmosphere. Staff are friendly, and they have a good selection of sandwiches and snacks. If you haven't tried it before, I recommend their white hot chocolate, it's amazing 😁
I. H.
Was recommended by a friend who runs her own coffee shop in Edinburgh and she told me to "Support the independent!" I'm only in Glasgow for a week but one day (and a gorgeous flat white later) I was hooked. 2nd day in Glasgow I was back first thing for another flat white and I'll be back until the end of the week. Happy friendly staff and suitably cool decor make this one coffee bar to keep supporting. If you like your coffee then this is the place to visit without a doubt.
C. M.
It's fine, I think they trade a lot on looking a bit cool and West End whilst being in the city centre. Coffee above chain standard but nothing to write home about. Good selection of dairy alternatives but they managed to curdle the almond milk in the americano.
J. G.
I've been here a few times, it's very hit and miss. I've had very friendly prompt service, and painfully slow snippy service. The coffee is similarly hit and miss - I've had a couple of flat whites that look and taste like lattes. Nice lattes, but too weak not what I was after.
D. L.
Fab coffee (Shame they charge 40p for oat milk though), didn't try the food but looked delicious and a good variety of options. Definitely a good place to stop before a long train.
L. K.
Friendly staff. The coffee was good, though not amazing, however the price for what you got was amazing. Reusable cup gets you a discount and an americano is then under £2 to go. Nice place, just very small.
L. G.
BEST coffee and BEST sandwiches in city centre! Smokey Joe is a must have but whatever I tried here was delicious, cakes included. Can't get enough of their products.
E. M.
Lovely fresh sandwich, good coffee, friendly staff.
B. L.
Always delicious and the cake selection is one of the best in central Glasgow. It is very small though so sometimes space is at a premium and as they note: they have no bathroom.
G. M.
Always a great coffee and always a great selection of sandwiches and cakes.
Staff are friendly and helpful ☕ 😎 👍🏻
D. H.
Riverhill has a great selection of coffees and cakes, as well as sandwiches and other nibbles to choose from. If you come at the end of the day, sometimes they just give away food rather than bin and waste it. They do get a little crowded, so it's meant more for takeaway than sit in and stay for a while. The quality is pretty high, though.
G. M.
Excellent choice of delicious and imaginative cakes and pastries, a real gem of a cafe in Glasgow and much needed shelter from the rain too!!
M. D.
Excellent coffee, cakes and lunch food items. Possibly one of the best in Glasgow! Not ideal for large groups as there is only bar seating available. But well worth a visit!
A. K.
Nice little coffee place in the business area of Glasgow. It was steady busy the entire time we were there. Longblack (aka Americano) was good. Yoghurt pot was good with jam on the bottom, then yoghurt and a container of mix-in granola. Yummy and filling.
S. W.
The coffee is so good here. The food is also amazing, the shwarma is a favourite and the baked goods are out of this world. Great variety for vegans.
j. m.
If I lived or worked nearby I would come everyday. Forget the chain café pop in for a cheerful smile, lovely food and great coffee.
T. I.
Great selection of bagels, sweet treats and artisan hot beverages. Their quiche is divine. It's a quirky small gem in the heart of city. A must visit.

N. 7.
Nice wee place, coffee, cakes and some deli foods...very small seating area so not too busy but did have a passing clientele so seems a popular spot to grab a quick snack or drink..nice vibe too
M. A.
Food is always top quality and lovingly handmade. They usually have interesting special dishes with a twist you wouldn't have thought of. Staff are attentive and service pretty prompt. Great atmosphere, busy but not crowded.
J. H.
Great international food menu. We had breakfast at Riverhill and got to choose between Scottish, Turkish and Mexican inspired dishes. Very good food and a lovely atmosphere.
N. E.
Absolutely excellent coffee, cakes and service. Don’t visit this place when you’re on a diet because it’s almost impossible not to buy the delicious cakes. A great find in Glasgow
l. n.
Great coffee, delicious range of food and the staff have good chat.
M. S.
Tasty cakes and great lunch rolls on offer. Generally has good selection of both gluten free and vegan food, plus staff are friendly.
L. A.
The cakes are good, coffee and hot chocolate are not exceptional. The seating is very limited, not confortable and are facing the wall.
Too bad because it's a nice place
J. W.
Best vegetarian breakfast I've ever had! (And I've been a veggie for 22 years). Coffee was great, service was quick friendly and welcoming. Fantastic all round.
J. C.
Great coffee and fabulous selection of cakes. It's quite small with just a few seats . Well located for Central Station and City centre. Staff very friendly
F. G.
Delicious food from breakfast, lunches and snacks. Great coffee too.
D. M.
Great little spot for lunch, right in the middle of town between Buchanan Street and Central station. Superb organic food accompanied by great, knowledgeable service. They don't do dinner any more and close early evening
H. Y.
Favourite stop, when traveling between Queen Street station and Central station. Only a few seats but lovely quality food, cakes made on premises and coffees all reasonably priced.
K. H.
Staff were polite. The coffee was great. Really great atmosphere. I was a tourist in the city and this coffee place was recommended by a number of different people.
Y. A.
Nice place has a pretty various options
, my wife and I tried a maragessh eggs, steake cheese and French salads and all delicious steake was out of standards.
The place and tables bit small and narrow. In general it deserves hour time
C. B.
Nice staff and lovely coffee and square sausage
E. K.
The coffee here is quite good, and they have a large selection of pastries and tasty bagels. This is a nice place to stop for a quick lunch when in the city
A. S.
I'm 36 and I just experienced the best bacon roll of my inter life, don't tell my Granny!
G. W.
Came here for a good coffee and my Americano was Okay. The surprise was my friend's hot chocolate which was smells alluring and taste just right - rich yet not too sweet.
W. F.
Well made barista coffee. The food looked great (but we didn’t try it). Lovely staff too.
V. K.
10/10 for the quality of your coffee, pastries/bagels and service. Your tinny cutlery calls for an upgrade though. Never mind the customers, your offerings deserve it!😄
K. G.
Seriously good locally roasted coffee, clever dripper, Aeropress and deicious gluten free cake!! True third wave coffee experience. Can't wait to go back.
S. P.
Some of the best coffee in Glasgow in my personal opinion. Staff are terrific as well. Whenever I'm passing, I call in here for a double shot Americano.
L. H.
The only place to go for coffee in Glasgow. Perfect soya flat white - don't bother with anywhere else. Oh, and nice brownies too 😎😎
R.
Wonderful. Loved it. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great coffee. Great snacks.
My favourite place for coffee in Glasgow.
E. P.
Delicious food and amazing service, easily the best café we visited during our trip to Glasgow.
D. T.
Great snacks and drinks place. Great coffee, and hot snacks.
r. f.
Fast service, good coffee, nice cake. Space at a premium so not so easy to chill out for a while. Music was great.
G. G.
If you walk by and see the seat by the window is free, jump in and take it.
A great spot in the middle of town often overlooked for the big names nearby, but their coffee and food is ten times better than a pre-packed sandwich.
A. N.
Great panini, good variety of food even though the place is small, nice coffee, avoid the desserts, they seem appealing but taste all the same and are very sweet.
S. M.
Brillant for a lunch that's a bit more flavoursome than the usual known outlets. Great selection of cakes as well
J. T.
Great artisinal coffee and selection of edibles. The salmon bagel I had for breakfast was particularly good.
C. S.
Awesome everything. Don't come here, it's tiny....Leave it all for me. Great coffee and the cakes hurt my eyes, they look so good.
I. W.
Fantastic little independent café. Superb treats, soup and sandwiches. Lovely staff and atmosphere.
M. J.
Very nice, small place with a not bad selection of snack-food. I can't say anything about coffee, but the place is worth visiting.
A. R.
Always great coffe, super-friendly staff and a selection of cakes. My city centre go to spot for coffee.
P. S.
Coffee is fantasic, the food is second to none, the customer service is always warm and friendly! Would recommend this coffee bar or her sister restaurants to everyone!
B. G.
This is a great place! The vegan brunch is purely awesome! With lots of choices and yummy food!
t. a.
My goto coffee when in Glasgow. I had a roll for the first time today and although it was good it was too big and bready (if that makes sense) with filling falling out with each bite.
C. H.
Great selection of lunch time sandwiches and cakes. It's a little expensive but okay for the occasional visit. Would definitely recommend.
M. S.
Quite a small place but nice cake and good coffee. Good spot to wait for a train as it’s just across the street from the station.
W. V.
It was a great place the workers are quite nice. But it was way to busy we didn't have a chance to sit down because it's a lot smaller than it looks like on the pictures.
L. P.
Great coffee, amazing cakes, sandwiches, and salads too. Try the schwarma wrap for a very tasty lunch.

T. F.
Very average eating experience. Despite all the great reviews, I didn’t feel like this place was any good and we left disappointed. I ate a bacon and egg roll and a coffee. The roll was dry and very plain tasting and the coffee had chocolate bits in it that didn’t melt in so ended up in the last sip of my underwhelming coffee. I wouldn’t visit here again and much preferred other places… we ended up visiting the donut place next door afterwards.

(Translated) As soon as the door is opened, the aroma of pastries comes out, accompanied by the oily smoke from freshly cooked hot food. It is the Scottish version of the Taiwanese breakfast shop. The bagels and sandwiches in the window are being put on the shelves one by one. Customers come in one by one, feeling full of energy.

We had breakfast tea and green tea with a big fruit scone. the butter and jam was yummy=>butter was smooth, jam was sweet with a bit sour of the berries. The raisins in scone were really a plus. The tea was good quality , you can tasted the aroma of it and refresh. the staff was friendly.
We ordered English breakfast tea, green tea and fruit scones: cream and jam go well with scones: smooth and non-greasy jams are sweet and sour! The raisins in the scones increase the taste of the entrance, the quality of the tea is very good, the tea The aroma is very strong, smooth and not astringent. The staff is very friendly~

I came to eat for lunch, there were two of us. We paid for £14 in total and ate very well!
A "George Michael" burger and a "Chicken+Chorizo" panini with a brownie for dessert (split it in half, it's good but heavy).
The welcome was warm and quick.
The only downside is the comfort, it's small and the seats are hard.
