Lovely restaurant and friendly waiters ☺️ tips: discounts for takeaway food, discounts for students My friend and I were dine-in. I ordered a chicken sandwich and my friend had the bacon bagel. My sandwich tasted average... the bread on the outside was very dry and hard, and the sandwich had some vegetables and chicken inside (which tasted mediocre). The chips were given in a vinegar flavour which I didn't like.

We were looking for a coffee and wanted to avoid the usual chains when we found Rose & Grant's. Thank goodness! Great coffee and good food. Excellent service from the team. I had delicious Sriracha & Hollandaise poached eggs with bacon and smashed avocado on bloomer toast. Just right for midday! Recommended!

We had an excellent vegan breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The big vegan breakfast included the most delicious chickpea scramble and homemade square sausage. The coffee was very good and obviously made by an expert barista. All in all a perfect experience and highly recommended.

Amazing food and happy to have so much vegan choice. There was also great service even though the place was really busy, and a great atmosphere. The only improvement I would suggest is giving tap water in a glass instead of in a plastic cup as this seems to be unnecessary waste.

Had been waiting to try this place for a while as my mum & sister are both vegan. It didnt disappoint. Its a busy little cafe, spacious and nice decor. We all order the "Ultimate Vegan Bagel" and it was beyond delicious. The staff were all super welcoming, helpful and polite. We also took some vegan cakes to go and oh my days YUM YUM YUM! Prices are very reasonable and good portion sizes. I highly recommend good vegan options but great choice for everyone. We will defo be back! loved it! ❤

The staff are really chatty & friendly, the menu isn't ridiculously large so easy to make choices. The portion sizes a great value for money. I had a lovely club sandwich with amazing coleslaw, my husband had the Stornoway blackpudding tower which had THE bet perfectly poached eggs on top. We also couldn't resist having some rocky road, delicious, & a Biscoff empire biscuit which had lovely shortbread & yummy filling. We also had 2 diet cokes & this all came to £29, this included a very well deserved 10% tip. We will definitely visit again, a great find. Would highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting near the Trongate.

Absolutely lovely cafe with delicious food and drinks. We had a late lunch of their vegan special roll (with added vegan haggis) and special bagel. Super tasty and reasonably priced. Was delighted with the Pour vegan hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, as it's very rare to find vegan mallows! Also, great vibe and lovely staff. We loved it so much we went back for coffee the next day.

Fab wee place. Menu features abundant vegan options using nice quality ingredients. The breakfast/brunch menu is where it's at in my opinion, but it's nice for coffee and cake too. Service is quick and staff are friendly. Some of the spaces are a wee bit small, but I'm not there to do yoga. Would recommend!

I was very torn about this review. The café is a great place. Staff are friendly, decor is relaxing and the menu is excellent (lots of vegan options, if that's your thing). My personal experience and only qualm was down to my specific menu choice: I went for the 'big breakfast', which was sadly a long way from being so. Although the food was good, the plate was small (beans served in an espresso cup?!) and even having paid for extras (black pudding and potato slice were extra), it wasn't a very much food for nearly £9. As I say, maybe I just made the wrong choice, which is why I haven't rated lower, despite my slightly disappointing breakfast. It's a lovely café to visit and I'll happily try again if I'm ever in town again. But maybe lose the 'big' from the breakfast, hey?

Incredibly delicious food!! It was easy to find options for our dietary restrictions and allergies. With ample vegetarian and vegan options, plus meat if you want it, they literally have something for everyone. Highly recommend! Some of the best food of our entire trip!

I live next to this place but prefer to get long walk then eat and have coffee so hadn't been in while...I love the scrambled chickpea on toast....Can't see past it so always have on toast......Love lots vegan choices, very dog friendly and service always quick. It is at top end of what I would pay but appreciate these places have lots of extra costs and times aren't easy and I always enjoy the food. Nice vibe and would recommend 👌

Great little café. Staff were extremely attentive and polite. Very good for people with allergies / autoimmune conditions as staff were sure to talk us through the menu so that we knew what to order. They did explain that there was a very small possibility of cross contamination but I was happy to order a meal anyway, I felt safe with their preventative measures and didn’t have any problems after.

There are loads of gluten free and vegan options, really generous portion sizes and amazing quality food! The staff are all excellent, super friendly and attentive. With such a convenient location and regular new specials, Rose & Grant's has quickly become one of our favourite spots in town.

Menu looks good but only wanted coffee and toast. 2 cappuccino's and toasted bagel x1 and 1x thick cut toast with butter, order taken. Cafe was busy and coffees were brought out in 10 minutes and we finished coffees before toast/bagel arrived..Over £11 for such basic items.

I found this place today, by accident tbh. Very good service, two nice girls behind the counter, (one that made my Almond Cappuccino - skilled and quality driven, I don't know her name, but real asset for the business!) The vegan haggis was delicious, the square sausage was nice as well. The vegan mince pie was probably heated in the microwave because the dough got quite chewy, the filling was also a bit boring and dry. Really nice place though and nice service.

Lovely atmosphere and great food, with a range of interesting options for those with dietary requirements. The kitchen does close during parts of the day, so make sure to keep that in mind and check it before. We enjoyed their famous vegan square sausage so much we bought a pack to take home with us!

This fabulous little cafe in the heart of Glasgow serves the most wonderful food catering for omnivores, vegetarians and specialising in vegan food. The staff are very friendly and attentive and food appears freshly cooked to order. Highly recommended are the all day breakfasts and the cakes and ice-cream. Family friendly. I stopped eating meat 3 months ago and everyone made the same comment "You'll never manage to give up square sausage!" Not an issue as Rose & Grant's vegan square sausage is brilliant! Excellent. Wandering along Trongate for a bite to eat and stumbled upon and stumbled in to this place. Initial alarm of vegan options dismissed by meat treats on page two onwards of the menu. Ordered a cookies and cream oreo milkshake which was nice but a bit overpriced, coming in at £4.95. Would more like £2.95 for the amount in it. My boyfriend ordered a latte and it came in a tiny glass, half of what he would have normally expected. He also got the vegan special roll at £3.75 and he loved it, the siracha mayo and mushroom made it. I ordered the vegan breakfast at £7.95, which came without bacon. This I thought was a bit of a rip off and too pricey considering you only get a vegan square sausage then beans out of a tin, tasteless cherry tomatoes, herby mushrooms and a potato scone. I got extra bacon for £2 pushing my breakfast cost up to a tenner. I should have went to the 13th Note round the corner, they do their own baked beans, french roast, mushrooms, potato scone and square sausage, sure they do bacon too, could be wrong. Probably won't be back again, unfortunately. My bf rates his experience as a 4 out of 5.
